The shop is located on the right side after entering the south entrance of the rest house, which was built in 1967 as a resting place for visitors to the Imperial Palace and park users, and was renovated in 2002. Following a renovation in December 2019, the shop area has quadrupled in size. Here, you can find unique products such as Imperial Palace souvenirs, traditional Japanese crafts, sake, and traditional Japanese sweets with a connection to the Imperial Palace. One of the featured items is the "Imperial Palace Outer Garden Honey Baked Cookies" (10 pieces for 1000 yen + tax), made with honey harvested from the natural surroundings of the Imperial Palace. These cookies have a light and crispy texture, sandwiching white chocolate cream with a refreshing taste. They are packaged in a bright design with the product name written in vertical style. The sales of this product contribute to the preservation and promotion of Japan's food culture and support the maintenance and utilization of national parks through the National Parks Association.

I received this as a souvenir! It's a dorayaki from the outer gardens of the Imperial Palace. The paper bag and packaging have a chrysanthemum crest, and the gold packaging is very glamorous. It's a luxurious souvenir. It contains 4 dorayaki. It has a fluffy texture and is full of sweetness. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal!!

I received this as a souvenir. I have had kin-tsukuri from here before. This is my first time trying dorayaki. When I opened it, there were four large dorayaki inside. I shared them with the people around me (I live alone, so a small amount is enough) and took one home. I had it with coffee. It has large red bean paste inside. The dough is also quite sweet. Overall, it is very sweet. It seems like a good taste for those who like sweet things. Sweet. Thank you for the meal.

Thank you for the souvenir from Tokyo. It is a dorayaki from the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens. It comes in a golden box with chrysanthemum petals, very dazzling! The individual packaging is in an elegant light brown color in a large box with 4 pieces inside. The dorayaki has a chrysanthemum flower imprint on it. The red bean paste inside is shiny and delicious. The sweetness is gentle, not too overpowering. Each piece costs over 300 yen, but it's worth it for the quality. There are also yokan and kintsuba in this series, as well as baumkuchen from other companies. The royalties from the use of the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens name are used for environmental conservation and park maintenance.
