Visited the restaurant wanting to drink the limited edition Dekaremon Sour. It was late on a weekend night, and the place was filled with young people making a lot of noise, but as they started leaving (probably drunk), the atmosphere gradually became quieter and more relaxed. Many menu items were sold out. I ordered using a tablet and got lucky with a 100 yen discount coupon through a gacha game on the app. Ordered the Torikizoku Momotare (tax included 350 yen) which was as big and tasty as always. Also had the Nagaimo Teppanyaki (tax included 350 yen) which was the usual delicious dish. The limited edition Tebasaki (tax included 350 yen) was really good. The Butabara Kainiku (tax included 350 yen) was... well, it was not quite what I expected for Kainiku. The Chikarakobu (tax included 350 yen) was accidentally served with a different sauce, but it turned out to be better that way. I had the Dekakinmugi (tax included 350 yen) and it went down smoothly. Also tried the Premium Malt (tax included 350 yen) with its nice foam. The Toriki White Wine (tax included 350 yen) and the Suave Soda (tax included 350 yen) were also good choices. I really wish they would make the limited edition Mega Lemon Sour a regular menu item. The staff (Japanese) were friendly, but they kept wearing their masks the whole time, which made me think they should take it off.

Efficient ordering with touch panel, they listen to individual requests. The large yakitori has a satisfying taste. It's popular for a reason. No mistakes, which is appreciated. Unlimited soft drinks for elementary school kids and below is also great.

The food is delicious, cheap, and the staff is friendly even to foreign customers. I will definitely come back!

The restaurant offers all dishes and drinks for a flat rate of 280 yen (excluding tax), which makes it easy to calculate and a reassuring price. Although the store is quite small compared to others, it is always crowded. The serving time for yakitori is faster here than at other stores, which is a plus. The edamame is boiled to a firm texture, with just the right amount of salt. The yakitori is cooked well, but the tsukune was a bit too sweet for my liking. The chilled grilled chicken with mustard was not very appetizing, as cold yakitori lacks juiciness. The marinated boiled egg and crab stick with cabbage coleslaw salad, a new item, had a good taste but the dressing was too sour and excessive. It may be a good option for those who drink a lot of beer or for casual drinking.

Despite being inexpensive, Torikizoku is a well-known yakitori restaurant with decent quality. I like yakitori, but I always wished they had curry on the menu. However, when I visited after a long time, I was surprised to see a curry-flavored dish on the menu! I wonder if they have updated their menu nationwide or if there are different variations of Torikizoku with different menus. I'm not sure, but I tried the Chicken Thigh Curry Yakitori. This Torikizoku offers all items for 280 yen each, including the Chicken Thigh Curry Yakitori which comes in a set of two for 280 yen. It may not be cheap, but they use domestically sourced chicken which guarantees quality. The chicken is juicy, the curry flavor pairs well with it, and I am satisfied with the price. Drinks are also 280 yen each, making it a good deal when you want to drink a lot. Torikizoku is not to be underestimated.

I often use it on my way home from work. It's really convenient that the prices are already set to a certain extent! I recommend the original skewers at Torikizoku. Most of these types of restaurants that offer dishes for around 1,000 yen have small portions, but at Torikizoku, the portions are really generous! When I first went, I was a bit skeptical about the portion size, but after trying it once, I was convinced. It may take a bit of time for the dishes to arrive after ordering, but considering the portion size and taste of each dish, it's worth it! For the rice dishes, you need to wait about 30 minutes after they arrive, so it might be good to order them first. In any case, the generous portions and taste at that price point are really wallet-friendly.

Finally, a Torikizoku has opened in Sugamo, so I went to check it out. I already knew that the food is delicious and offers good value for money, but I was pleased to see that they have added some new items to the menu since my last visit. The skewers are all really tasty, so I hope they add more menu items like whole chicken feet. The cooked rice is a must-have, and I always order it with my first drink, which only costs 300 yen. It's no wonder I keep coming back.
