気まぐれロマンテク
I met up with a local friend for dinner at a restaurant they had made a reservation at! Since my friend is from Edogawa-ku, we used to often go drinking in Kinshicho. When asked what kind of restaurant I preferred, I simply said a place with a nice interior! The restaurant is located about a 1-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, so the location is quite convenient. The restaurant just opened in April, and the interior is incredibly clean and filled with a sense of cleanliness! I love the counter kitchen, where you can see the chefs preparing the food, making it reassuring to dine there! The atmosphere in the restaurant is truly that of a new establishment. The cleanliness is evident! Apart from the counter seats, there are private rooms available, suitable for casual dining, dates, and business meetings. Now, let's get to the ordering.
- Kagerou Course at Kushikura for 3,500 yen (includes 3-hour all-you-can-drink)
- I must say upfront, the cost-performance ratio is amazing!
- Since it's all-you-can-drink beer, I indulged to my heart's content. The beer was ice-cold and excellent!
- The chef's choice salad appetizer was served first, which is the restaurant's specialty. It was a salad with a Japanese-style dressing.
- The domestic pork intestines simmered in white broth were light and delicious, with tender intestines in a clear soup. It was undeniably tasty.
- The sashimi platter included tuna, salmon, and sea bream, all fresh, well-presented, and with a good amount of fat, making them delicious!
- The Oboro tofu, with a soy milk-based broth and tofu topped with sweet red bean paste, was visually appealing and a healthy dish.
- The skewers and grilled chicken included:
Black Wagyu beef skewer
Okra wrapped in prosciutto skewer
Salmon seared with salmon roe skewer
Vegetable bacon-wrapped skewer
Angel prawn skewer
Three-element pork skewer
Asparagus wrapped in meat skewer
Soft-boiled quail egg skewer
Sawara mackerel with myoga skewer
Chicken tenderloin with plum and shiso leaf skewer
The lineup was like this. The skewers were enjoyed with rock salt, sauce, and broth, and the staff would recommend which sauce to pair with each skewer, providing excellent service! Everything was surprisingly delicious! Eating the skewers with broth was a first for me, and it was the best combination of flavors I've ever had with skewers. I was extremely satisfied!
- The specialty kama-meshi (hot pot rice) was perfect for finishing the meal. It's piping hot and perfect for the end of the meal. You can enjoy it as is, or pour hot broth over it to make ochazuke. It's great to be able to enjoy two different ways in one dish!
- For dessert, we had sherbet and cake. A refreshing way to end the meal! Usually, I tend to order a la carte, but if course meals offer good value and delicious food like this, it's definitely worth it! The combination of all-you-can-drink and this volume at this price is honestly surprising! I will definitely visit this restaurant again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
