Visited Turashi in Ishihara area after a long time. It is one of the few Indian/Nepalese curry restaurants in Sumida Ward with a 3% PayPay cashback offer. It wasn't too crowded this time, which was nice. However, the inside of the restaurant was a bit hot and humid. I wish they had the air conditioning on a bit more. The staff, who seemed to be from India or Nepal, were friendly and cheerful. I opted for the 2 curry set lunch for 1155 yen, which has remained the same price for the past six months, but still felt a bit expensive. However, choosing the most expensive curry for a single curry lunch would cost 1045 yen, so I went for the 2 curry set. I chose the more expensive mutton curry and green curry. I love mutton curry. Also, last time I felt that the two curries I had were too similar in taste and aroma, so this time I chose a different green curry to mix things up. Both curries were equally priced, so it made sense to go for two different ones. The curries were mildly spicy, and I requested them to be spicy. For my drink, I chose mango lassi since I wasn't impressed with the chai last time. The meal came with the usual dry cabbage salad and a mango-flavored lassi. The curries were served with a large naan, turmeric rice, and the two curries on a silver platter. There were no chutneys or pickles. The mutton curry had a small portion of meat as usual, but the green curry with bamboo shoots and eggplant was quite tasty. The Thai-style curry and naan were also good. I had an extra full-size naan, so I was quite full by the end of the meal. Personally, I find the prices a bit high for regular visits, but it's worth it during the PayPay promotion period. However, the weak air conditioning and the post-meal sweating due to the spices made me sweat a lot.

The nearest station is Ryogoku Station on the Toei Oedo Line, a 10-minute walk from the restaurant. I didn't realize for over half a year that the store had changed its name to New Prashida on the outside light sign. I visited for lunch for the first time. This time, I ordered the Cheese Naan Set (1,155 yen) with a spicy Butter Chicken curry. The dish was served in about 10 minutes. The Cheese Naan Set includes curry, cheese, rice, a mini salad, and lassi. The Butter Chicken had a rich flavor that I enjoyed, with a good blend of butter, cream, and tomatoes. The Cheese Naan was piping hot with plenty of cheese stuffed inside, making it too hot to eat right away. The sweetness of the naan made it delicious and easy to eat. The staff's service was also good, so I really liked it. I would like to visit for a casual drink in the evening as well. Thank you for the meal.

I had spinach chicken and keema curry. I had cheese naan and regular naan, but sometimes I feel full or my stomach gets upset from naan. However, the naan here was very light and easily went into my stomach without any issues. It was very delicious. I would like to come back at night. Thank you for the meal.

I found a curry restaurant with a name that sounds like a yakiniku place while looking for a restaurant in Sumida Ward with a 30% discount using the PayPay app. It's called Tulasi, not Toraji, haha. It's not the same place as the New Prasiddha that used to be there. The layout has changed a bit but I'm not sure if the staff is the same or different. The prices used to be 990 yen for a set of two curries, but now it's 1155 yen including tax. However, if you choose the more expensive curries for a single curry lunch, it's 990 yen, so I decided to go for the set of two curries. I chose the spicy mutton and medium spicy butter chicken. For the drink, I had iced chai. The lunch set includes salad, naan, turmeric rice, two curries, and a drink. The naan tasted better than before, with a nice balance of slight sweetness from the dough and a crispy and fluffy texture. It's not too chewy, so it looks big but you can actually eat quite a bit. The spicy mutton was okay in spiciness, so the naan went well with it. I thought there would be butter in it, but it didn't taste very buttery. Maybe it's a different type of oil. I wish there was a bit more meat in both the mutton and butter chicken. The individual flavors didn't stand out much, just like last time. But the taste was quite strong. Also, the service was fast this time, which was good. The iced chai lacked fragrance and was just okay. I received a 50 yen lunch voucher on my way out, and with the 30% PayPay discount, it was a good deal, but I still feel like it's a bit pricey considering the location. The naan was delicious though. But maybe this is just how things are with the current trend of price increases.
