When I was wandering around Ginza, I suddenly felt like eating Monjayaki! I searched and found this place, which turned out to be a stylish okonomiyaki restaurant. You have to cook everything yourself! Seriously? I was sweating while desperately cutting the cabbage for the Monja. It was like a light workout. The atmosphere was not like a typical okonomiyaki place, more like a trendy one, fitting for Ginza. The menu was all self-cook! I was a bit confused because I had only been to places where the staff cooked for you. It would have been nice if they had given a brief explanation when serving the dishes. But since it was self-cook, maybe it's expected that you figure it out yourself. Next time, I want to improve my skills and show off some fancy spatula work.

Kimuchi Tamaginza is located in Ginza's 2nd district. It is a restaurant that you enter underground between Chuo Street and Showa Street. When you think of an okonomiyaki restaurant, you may imagine a place with open tables and griddles, but this place is divided into sections and has a relaxed atmosphere. The okonomiyaki here is Kanto-style, where you cook it yourself. The okonomiyaki isn't too big, so some people may want more, but it was just right for me. This was my first visit, so I would like to try more dishes if I have the chance to visit again.

Year-end party season. It's already late, and Tsukishima is fully booked! I was looking for a monjayaki restaurant in Ginza, and I found Karaoke-ya. We started with teppanyaki. There was a variety of meat and seafood options, and we chose scallops cooked in butter soy sauce, which was delicious and fragrant. For okonomiyaki, we ordered the mixed ball, which was tasty and colorful with plenty of ingredients. For the monjayaki, we topped the mentaiko mochi with cheese, and it was also delicious. We finished with kimchi and octopus monjayaki, which was not too spicy but very addictive. The portion sizes were small, so women could probably finish about three dishes easily. The layout of the restaurant is spacious and the atmosphere is calm and clean. It's a nice change from the lively atmosphere in Tsukishima. My friends were happy that we could relax here. The restaurant is located underground, so it might be a hidden gem. However, the last order at 9 p.m. seems a bit early. You could go to a nearby izakaya for a second round, or have a night cafe without any problems.

Karaoke-ya Higashi Ginza Station/Osaka-style okonomiyaki and teppanyaki for 7 people, perfect for a tired group. Jazz music plays in the calm atmosphere of the restaurant. It's cheap, delicious, and the portions are generous! Located just a few seconds away from Daiichi Station. Recommended for East Ginza gourmet dining.

This place is so delicious! Located near JRA close to Ginza's super brands, there are cafes on the 1st and 2nd floors, while the traditional tea house we were looking for is on the basement floor. The okonomiyaki and monjayaki here are just amazing. They have a taste that is completely different from Kansai, it's like a nostalgic taste of Tokyo that doesn't need any explanation. The monjayaki is made skillfully on the hot plate by the staff, creating a delicious mixture of ingredients. It's simple but comforting. I highly recommend trying the negiyaki. Overall, everything we tried here - including asari tamago, vegetable yaki, beef yaki, yakisoba, etc. - was delicious. I urge everyone to visit this place at least once.

It's a typical okonomiyaki and monjayaki restaurant where you cook your own food on a hot plate. It can get a bit hot in the summer, but the taste is generally good. The price is around 1,000 yen per dish, which is a bit on the higher side, but considering the location near Ginza Station, it may be reasonable. The restaurant is open from 5:00 to 10:00, with last orders around 9:30, making it a good place for a healthy (?) party. We had a 2.5-hour party with prices ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 yen per person. Overall rating is an average 3.0.

It is a clean okonomiyaki restaurant. I went with a group of women and ordered a course meal, which we were very satisfied with. The seafood in particular was delicious, maybe because Tsukiji Market is nearby. The only downside to okonomiyaki restaurants is that the smell tends to stick to your clothes. The smell of the sauce lingered on me on the way home.
