The Italian flag is the sign. There are more wine options than food on the menu. It's nice to be able to choose from several different glasses. The deer prosciutto goes perfectly with red wine. The terrine is huge. It was a lively atmosphere. I will definitely come back.

This is an Italian restaurant located on Fushikoji Rokkaku. I made a reservation for the weekend and visited. The interior of the restaurant is typical, with two 4-person tables lined up in the front and a counter seat and kitchen in the back. The menu consists of regular dishes and daily specials. We ordered the following dishes for 4 people: - Buffalo mozzarella and Shine Muscat: The portions were smaller than expected, but both are high-quality ingredients. - Assorted homemade ham: The homemade ham was delicious, and the mustard served with it was also tasty. - Yamato pork shoulder loin grill: It was delicious, and we were torn between choosing beef or pork, but the pork was also very good. The vegetables on the side were perfectly cooked. - Cod milt meuniere with lemon butter sauce: The cod milt had no fishy taste and was beautifully seared with a tasty sauce. We ended up ordering an extra dish because it was so good. - Pizza with Kujyo green onions and anchovies: We chose this from the appetizer menu, and it was simply delicious and a perfect snack. - Homemade bacon Roman-style carbonara: A true carbonara made without cream. The rich flavor of cheese and egg paired well with wine. We ordered 2 bottles of wine with this dish. The day we visited, there was only one staff member working, and he seemed quite busy. However, we were grateful to be able to relax and enjoy our meal. The customers varied from groups like us to couples and people who came for a light drink for their second round. The restaurant seems flexible with portion sizes, making it a comfortable place to visit alone without feeling out of place. If it were closer, I would definitely visit this restaurant again. Another restaurant to add to my list of places to revisit!

Cozy Italian restaurant. Everything is delicious and shows a great sense of taste. The salad is excellent, and the pate de campagne has a perfect balance of spices. The pickles and mustard on the side are also delicious! The red wine stew is tender and quite good. The pasta seasoning has depth and is tasty, but the homemade pasta was a bit too firm for my liking. The fried potatoes were a bit too salty. The homemade tomato sauce is delicious. The wine, although the brand is unknown, seems to have little emphasis on quality. Overall, very delicious, reasonably priced, and satisfying!

I happened to pass by this restaurant and thought it looked delicious, so I decided to go in. It has a casual atmosphere which makes it easy to enter. The food was really authentic and I ended up drinking too much. I had a Caesar salad, clams and broccoli in white wine, and pasta in garlic oil. They all paired well with the wine. The prices were reasonable for such delicious food. I highly recommend it. Thank you for the meal.

Kyoto gourmet!! An intimate space with 7 counter seats and 8 table seats. They offer a limited selection of glass wines, with 1 sparkling, and 2 each of red and white. I decided to go for a bottle of white wine. I ordered the amberjack carpaccio, mushroom salad, duck prosciutto, and lemon pasta!! The sauce for the amberjack carpaccio was tomato-based with cumin as an accent. The mushroom salad had myoga as an accent. The slight bitterness of myoga added a nice touch, and the texture was great, making it a hit. The chef's unique twists on the dishes made the meal enjoyable. It seems they can adjust the portion size for solo diners, so it's good to know about this place.

When you're in the mood for Italian food, this is a great place to visit for delicious dishes at a reasonable price. I had a Heartland draft ginger ale, blood orange juice, red and white wine, marinated mackerel with ginger pickles, fig fritters with prosciutto, various mushroom frittatas, pasta with garlic and lemon sauce, and a meat cutlet. The casual atmosphere and attentive service make it a favorite spot. The meat cutlet was a hidden gem on the menu, with juicy meat and a light demi-glace sauce that complemented it perfectly. Overall, the food was delicious with no disappointments.

The restaurant is located on a quiet street off the main road in Nishiki. The interior is small but stylish with a warm atmosphere from the wood decor. The food was incredibly delicious and the wine was flowing. We ordered the carpaccio, mushroom salad, and wagyu beef tataki. Each dish had a delicious sauce or dressing that really brought out the flavors of the ingredients. The salad had a generous amount of fresh mushrooms which was surprising at first, but the tangy dressing made it easy to devour. We were only a party of two so we couldn't order much, but I definitely want to go back to try more of their dishes.

A restaurant where they don't push you to eat, but want you to enjoy the dishes. I tried to go this week, but they seemed to be closed on Tuesdays. What a shame...

Located between Gion Shijo and Sanjo, a bit far but a very atmospheric restaurant. The staff were very friendly and I would like to come back again.

From the lovely older sisters at my former workplace came the phrase "Kojo-chan, choose the restaurant♡". There were many restaurants I wanted to visit, but considering the location and the difficulty of night gatherings after giving birth, I finally decided to visit this place that I had been keeping an eye on for a while. The restaurant looked very stylish from the outside, but also had a warm feeling. It was long and narrow, with a deep interior. For those who want to chat, the counter is the place to be! Looking at my big belly, the staff were very considerate and quickly came out from behind the counter, reassuring me that it was fine because they do squats 100 times every day. I could feel their kindness. They seemed to have a young child of their own, as they engaged in baby talk with the staff. The beautiful ladies gathered together, and before I knew it, the order was placed (laughs). I forgot the names of the dishes, so I just went for it! The stylish vegetables were abundant, with rich flavors and a strong earthy aroma. The fried white fish was not too heavy, and seemed crispy and light! The orange juice was refreshing, but had a rich taste. The pasta was chewy, made with fresh noodles, and we shared it early. Despite not being able to eat many things during pregnancy, the attentive service and detailed consideration for each order, portioning, and the match with the hearty vegetables made for a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant staff's kind personality was very comforting. It was a truly pleasant time. Thank you for the meal! *Due to home video recording (with permission from the restaurant), there are no photos this time.

Tonight, I found a shop decorated with the Italian flag and was drawn in by the menu. They quickly lit the stove for me and provided various thoughtful gestures in this lovely shop. Each dish was served with care and was delicious. I left satisfied and would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal tonight! ♥

I regularly visit "Osteria Sempre" where I always enjoy delicious dishes at reasonable prices. On my last visit, I had a draft beer x2, ginger ale x2, white wine, red wine, marinated horse mackerel, sautéed eringi mushrooms with balsamic vinegar, rare-grilled bonito, sakura shrimp tagliatelle, and grilled local pork. The fresh fish sourced from Maizuru is always top-notch in freshness. The chef's culinary skills shine through in every dish. The service is managed by two gentlemen, and even when the restaurant is full, the dishes come out promptly. If you're looking for a casual and delicious Italian meal, I highly recommend it.

I went to my favorite restaurant "Sempre" and enjoyed various fish dishes as they had a lot of fresh fish in stock that day. The dishes I had were: Heartland Ginger Ale, white wine x2, Amberjack Carpaccio, Taro and Potato Gratin, Grilled Horse Mackerel with Taro Sauce, Grilled Conger Eel with Lemon Butter Sauce, and Pasta with Shirasu (whitebait). The fish was as fresh as always, and the sauces really brought out the flavors of the ingredients. The Amberjack had a refreshing tomato-based sauce, the light white flesh of the horse mackerel was complemented by a sauce made with seasonal taro, and the conger eel had a tangy and rich lemon butter sauce with capers. The restaurant is versatile and caters to various customers, from middle-aged solo diners, moms with 4-month-old babies, individuals, couples, to groups of four women. It's a wonderful place where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a casual setting. Highly recommended.
