Grilled Skewer Dojo Miyamoto Makusaku Yurakucho Hibiya Store @ Yurakucho (Hibiya), Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo @ Izakaya, Yakitori, Warayaki, Basashi, Meat Sushi, and a variety of dishes can be enjoyed at reasonable prices. All rooms are private, making it a comfortable and good restaurant. They also offer courses with all-you-can-drink options. Located on the 2nd floor of Orchid Square, an 8-story dining building facing the elevated line near Yurakucho Station and Hibiya Station. It may be a bit difficult to find as the building's neon sign displays the circular logo of the Grilled Skewer Dojo next to the name Miyamoto Makusaku. Upon exiting the elevator, you will be greeted by a large wooden wall featuring Katsushika Hokusai's famous ukiyo-e print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" (Mt. Fuji seen over the waves from Yokohama Honmoku). The private rooms have heavy sliding doors, providing privacy and a calm atmosphere. However, the upper part of the partition is open, so loud voices may be heard from adjacent rooms. The menu includes yakitori, grilled dishes, sashimi, salads, meat dishes, fried foods, hot pots, yakisoba, fried rice, ochazuke, and more. The Warayaki Bonito Tataki and Warayaki Jidori course with 10 dishes and all-you-can-drink for 3,980 yen is quite a deal. Tonight, we enjoyed various dishes a la carte, but in hindsight, we should have opted for the course as the Warayaki dishes are only available in the course. Nevertheless, every dish was delicious. We shared the following dishes for two people, all reasonably priced and satisfying in portion and taste: ■ Otoshi 490 ■ Chilled Tomato 490 ■ Flavored Egg Potato Salad 650 ■ Steamed Chicken with Plum and Cucumber 590 ■ Bonito Tataki with Green Onions 680 ■ Assorted Grilled Pork 5 pieces 750 ■ Assorted Meat Sushi 1,480 ■ Garlic Butter Rice 780 The Otoshi, featuring mountain jellyfish, was deliciously crunchy. The service was prompt, and the staff were attentive when we pressed the call button on the table. The location is convenient, offering private rooms and delicious dishes at reasonable prices, making it suitable for both business meetings and private dining.
