A sushi restaurant that opened in Hirao on 12/15. The owner's brother of the long-established Japanese restaurant "Nakamuta". I found it on Instagram and wanted to visit right away, but I had a busy schedule. (^◇^;) Reservations can be made through the restaurant's Instagram via Toreta. You can choose your reservation time, which is nice. There is no parking at the restaurant, but there is a coin parking right in front. It's about a 6-7 minute walk from Hirao Station. The interior is a stylish space with a semi-circular counter. It can accommodate up to 8 seats, but on this day there were 6 seats. The prices include tax. Non-alcoholic beer (600 yen) and Heineken (800 yen). The lunch omakase is 6,000 yen. Watercress and squid legs in vinegar miso dressing... I like the taste of vinegar miso. Steamed egg custard... The seasoning is a bit strong, but delicious. The pickled ginger is also tasty, and they add more without you having to ask, which is nice. Some restaurants don't notice when it runs out, so it's a good impression. The sushi rice is blended with a small amount of red vinegar, and the slightly larger size of the nigiri is pleasing in Hakata where smaller ones are common. Needlefish... Good texture and you can feel the umami when you chew. Small fin... Perfectly seasoned and delicious. It's been a while since I had needlefish nigiri, and the liver is also delicious. ^^ Kawahagi with liver... It's been a while since I had Kawahagi nigiri. The liver is also delicious. ^^ Tailray... Even in small amounts, when seaweed is added, you can feel more umami. The texture is also good. Mackerel... Delicious with umami. *Duke... Since I cannot eat mackerel, I was served "duke". It has a taste of red meat and is delicious. I feel like I gained something. ♪ Spot prawn... Sweet. Sea urchin... You can feel the umami, and the seaweed is crispy. I was impressed that they served sea urchin, which is currently expensive, at this price. Conger eel... Fluffy. Tamago is on the sweeter side, which my husband likes. Nameko red miso soup. Dessert is "pear". A Beatles teacup... I saw it on Instagram and was curious. I asked to see it, and it's made of Hasami ware. I want this. Drink menu... It's nice to have prices listed on the drink menu. The owner is a calm and polite person, not very talkative, but responds politely when spoken to. For 6,000 yen, the quality of the sushi was better than I expected. The nigiri was beautifully made, and it was a traditional and delicious sushi. When I asked, the dinner price is 15,000 yen including tax. My husband liked it and wants to revisit at night, so I made a reservation for the next time, a little ahead. Looking forward to it. ♪ For two people, including drinks, it was 13,400 yen (tax included: credit cards accepted).
