I used it on Wednesday night. I wanted to eat tebasaki, so I entered the restaurant. The tebasaki is really delicious. I can eat as many as I want. Just tebasaki is enough for a side dish. The food is cheap, and the Nagoya cuisine is delicious, so it's great. It's in front of Kabukicho Tower, so it's great to stop by Kabukicho Tower on the way back.

After several years, I felt like eating the famous Yamachan's chicken wings and invited my colleagues to join me. The chicken wings were as easy to eat as always, with a rich flavor that went perfectly with alcohol. We ended up ordering seconds a few times. In addition, the rest of the menu consisted of typical izakaya dishes that were easy to enjoy.

Order the phantom chicken wings with normal spiciness and skip the extra pepper, as the normal level is already spicy enough. However, it goes well with alcohol. Speaking of which, the drink sizes are a bit small, so I'd prefer a larger glass or less ice to make it last longer. The touch panel ordering system is quick and convenient. We had 1 draft beer, 4 highballs, 5 fresh lemon sours, 2 orders of phantom chicken wings (5 pieces each), 1 Yamachan croquette, 1 dotenabe, and 1 Yamachan cabbage.

I made a little mistake at work and was feeling down as I was about to head home, but my boss and colleague stopped me and said, "Wait a minute. It's your day today, let's go out for dinner." It was Friday, so I was thinking of having a meal alone before the weekend, but they suggested going to Shinjuku. As we were walking around deciding where to eat, we saw a big sign for "Yamachan". I realized I had never been there before, so we decided to go to "Sekai no Yamachan". The building had the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors occupied by the restaurant. Since it was a Friday night, I was worried if we could get in, but we were able to get a table easily. The seating on the 4th floor was in a traditional tatami room with a nice atmosphere. We ordered using a tablet, so we didn't have to call a waiter, which was great. We ordered: Tsundere Itawa (429 yen), Maboroshi no Tebasaki (5 pieces) x2 (605 yen each), Hiden no Kuro Tebasaki (2 pieces) x3 (374 yen each), Fre-Fre Potato Genno Kosho Aji x2 (495 yen each). I was curious about the "Maboroshi no Kosho" so I looked at the menu and found out that it is a special seasoning method known only to the founder's family. The potato and tebasaki were so delicious that we couldn't stop eating. The Hiden no Kuro Tebasaki was sweet and savory, perfect for someone with a simple palate like me. I wanted to order motsunabe as well, but the tebasaki filled me up quickly. Even though we were quite full, the bill for three people was only 6900 yen. I also liked that they served ginger ale in a bottle. I would love to go back again!

Wangdao Izakaya's Yamachan, making its first appearance, offers consistently delicious chicken wings with a magical powder that pairs perfectly with beer. The cost performance is great, making it a place I definitely want to visit again! They also have many other dishes that go well with alcohol, so I recommend going with friends who enjoy drinking.

Today, I felt like indulging in some sinful chicken wings, so I decided to come to Yamachan. It has been so long since I last visited, I can't even remember when it was. In my previous job, I used to spend two days a week in Nagoya, so I would often come here with my colleagues and juniors. However, I haven't had the chance to come here recently, so when I looked at the menu after a long time, I noticed that it had changed slightly and lost some of its B-class charm. Nevertheless, the main attraction is the chicken wings, so I ordered two servings of the legendary chicken wings along with a classic red wiener. After a while, the star of the show arrived!! I eagerly took a bite of the piping hot chicken wings. Wait, were they always this salty and peppery??? I choked on the overwhelming amount of salt and pepper. The excessive amount of pepper made my throat dry. I wondered if my taste buds had changed or if the restaurant had gradually increased the amount of pepper. I don't remember it being this salty and peppery before. In the end, I couldn't bring myself to eat a third piece due to the intensity. I noticed on the menu that you can order with less pepper or no pepper at all. (So, it seems like many people also found it too salty and peppery.) I immediately ordered the one with less pepper. That's it!! The taste that I used to find delicious should be this one. But eating chicken wings always makes me thirsty... Before I knew it, I had drunk twice the usual amount of alcohol. The highlight of the day was the beef stir-fried with green peppers. It was delicious. It's a dish where beef belly meat is stir-fried with a slightly strong soy sauce and served on raw green peppers, and the bitterness of the green peppers paired perfectly with the beef belly meat.

The deliciousness of the tebasaki (chicken wings) aside, the Napolitan here stands out compared to everywhere else. It's simply not messed with - thick noodles, ketchup, red sausages, and scrambled eggs. This is the standard, but surprisingly hard to come by elsewhere. It's just so delicious and satisfying. I think it would be great for lunch too. Even as a franchise, Yama-chan is still going strong. Thank you for the meal.

I like Yamachan's restaurants around the world and use them often. This time, we used it for a group course drinking party. Maybe because there were a lot of people, the speed at which drinks were served was slow, and the things we ordered didn't arrive. The quality of the food also gave me the impression that it had been prepared in advance and had been sitting for a while. Although I often use other branches, I felt a little disappointed because it is a restaurant that I like and use frequently.

I went to watch a movie in Shinjuku with my friends, and afterwards we went to "Sekai no Yamachan" in Kabukicho. Established in 1981 by founder Shigeo Yamamoto in Nagoya, the first store was originally named "Yamachan," but it was changed to "Sekai no Yamachan" after a playful response from an employee. Currently, there are over 80 stores operating in Japan and various Asian countries. We were guided up the stairs to the 3rd floor by the staff. Since it originated in Nagoya, the menu features many local specialties from Nagoya. Here are some of the dishes we tried: - Yamachan's famous "Phantom Chicken Wings" (550 yen): Crispy fried chicken wings generously sprinkled with pepper, offering a stimulating flavor that becomes addictive. - Salmon Caesar Salad (630 yen): A salad with plenty of vegetables and salmon, topped with delicious homemade dressing. - Chicken Gizzard Stew (490 yen): Sweet and savory stew with a strong flavor, featuring the texture and taste of chicken gizzards. - Stir-Fried Greens (530 yen): Crunchy texture with a good garlic flavor. - Yamachan Miso Cucumber (360 yen): Fresh and crunchy cucumbers with a perfect match of miso. - Ankake Spaghetti (680 yen): A Nagoya specialty dish of spaghetti with a spicy sauce, which I tried for the first time and found it to be delicious. It was my first time at Sekai no Yamachan, and I really enjoyed the spicy chicken wings and the Nagoya-style ankake spaghetti. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I had been to the local restaurant a few times, so I had a rough idea of the food. I was happy to eat in Shinjuku, but it was quite crowded and the food was a little slow. The potatoes were cold. It seems like a good place for a casual drink.

Well, I think it's just a regular chain restaurant, but I went there for the first time. It was my first time drinking at a restaurant since the state of emergency was lifted. The chicken wings were delicious, but I think the other dishes were just average. It would be nice if they had a few more items on the menu.

I want to eat chicken wings! But sadly, there are none near me. It seems like the chicken wing culture is far from where I live. However, I really love chicken wings and eat them often. Lately, I've been hooked on the spicy chicken at Saizeriya. Sometimes I crave the chicken wings from Nagoya and make the trip there. I tried the super spicy and regular ones and they were both good! I visited the Sekai no Yamachan Seibu Shinjuku store when the rumors of the coronavirus were just starting. I rarely go to Tokyo, but I had some business in Shinjuku. I saw the restaurant and decided to give it a try. I started with a glass of draft beer and ordered a variety of dishes. The chicken wings were delicious, but the other items were just okay. It felt like a typical chain restaurant. However, the place was bustling with people of all ages. Thank you for the meal.

Tokyo, Shinjuku-ku. Kabukicho. World of tebasaki at Yamachan. I used it for the first time in a while. Choosing the all-you-can-drink course was the right decision. Pouring delicious tebasaki with beer! It's the ultimate happiness. The taste is even better when you come from work. The staff quickly responded to drink refills, which was also good. Hoppy was also included in the all-you-can-drink menu. I want to use it again. Thank you for the meal.

Visited this restaurant with band members for a New Year's gathering. We didn't have a specific place in mind, so we ended up here near the studio. Climbing up four flights of stairs with heavy bags was a bit tough (^_^;). Ordering was easy with the touch panel, and the speed at which the beer arrived was impressive (^^♪ We ordered a variety of dishes, and they were all good. Especially the famous chicken wings were spicy and delicious (๑´ڡ`๑). They were easy to eat, almost falling off the bone. I wonder if there's a special cooking technique for that? We ended up staying for 5 hours and the bill came out to around 5,000 yen per person. It was a fun time spent together (*^_^*)

I thought the meat would be more tender, but it was unexpectedly crispy and hard. It seemed to have pepper or some kind of spice on it, making it spicy and difficult to eat. I ordered one without pepper and it was just right. The limited-time dishes like the Nasu and pork stir-fry, liver and leek, and tripe stew were delicious too! And they were cheap! The best dish was the Yamachan salad - it was luxurious with cabbage soaked in dressing, refreshing and perfect for cleansing the palate.

I used it after work. It's Yama-chan, located just a short walk from Seibu Shinjuku Station. When it comes to tebasaki (chicken wings), for me, it's Yama-chan! But actually, this restaurant doesn't charge a seating fee or offer any appetizers. I've used it many times before, but I never noticed it because I didn't mind. This time, I went alone and was seated at the counter. I ordered a draft beer, the classic tebasaki, tebasaki with plenty of sauce, and gyoza. The dishes came out surprisingly quickly, which was nice. They were piping hot inside, and didn't feel like they were pre-made, but I wonder how they serve them so quickly... However, the tebasaki was tough, and definitely a lower quality than the tebasaki I've had at Yama-chan before. The meat was supposed to be tender and easy to eat, but it was tough all the way through. The tebasaki with lots of sauce was the same. Tough and hard to eat... They were decently tasty, but I honestly thought they were better before. The gyoza was like supermarket frozen food level. The flavor was a bit weak. It was hard to pick up with chopsticks and eat. I stayed for about 30 minutes and then left. Thank you for the meal.

Sometimes I have a sudden craving for chicken wings. When that happens, I always head to "Sekai no Yamachan" in Shinjuku. The sauce is good, but I think the salt and pepper chicken wings are the best! However, they don't stay open late, so it would be great if they were open even later on weekdays. 😭
