This is my favorite bar where I often stop by with friends. They have 6 types of smoked dishes, and it's a good deal to order 3 for ¥627. I usually order a large draft beer and smoked dishes, and the staff recognize me and ask, "Large draft beer, right?" with a smile. I especially love the smoked duck and egg here. It comes with yuzu pepper which adds a refreshing taste. I also recommend the chicken basket, which is perfect for sharing with 3 girlfriends while enjoying drinks. The only downside is that the indoor scent of incense is a bit strong. However, I love the smoked dishes here so I will continue to visit.

Located a 1-2 minute walk from JR Shinbashi Station, this cafe/pub hybrid also houses a tobacco shop. It is easily accessible from the subway via exit 3. Close to the Shinbashi Ichome intersection, the cafe offers coffee and iced tea ranging from 230 yen. The atmosphere is smoker-friendly, with most patrons indulging in cigarettes. Non-smokers may find it a bit challenging to stay for long periods. I opted for a Vegetable & Fruit Juice (S) priced at 310 yen, which was slightly sweet and easy to drink. The cafe transforms into a bar at night, so I look forward to visiting again in the evening.

After finishing a satisfying lunch, I was looking for a cafe and came across this place near Shimbashi Station called Beer Bar The Rockwell. The interior is small but open with glass windows. It seems to be connected to a tobacco shop? They had a daily lunch menu written on a blackboard, followed by a drink menu. I decided to drop in for a refreshing iced tea for 230 yen. The visit lasted about 10 minutes, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they serve Shirahonoka for 570 yen. It's quite rare, so I made a mental note of it. It would be great to enjoy a beer during the day as we head into summer. Solo visits are also welcome. Thank you for the meal!

I enjoyed a drink alone at a cafe-bar today. I ordered a glass of "Shirahonoka" Weiss beer for 570 yen, along with a smoked dish assortment for 670 yen. The smoked dish assortment included cheese, smoked duck, and smoked herring. The beer had a wheat beer-like sweetness and fruity aroma, perfect for the twilight hour. The smoked dishes were all delicious and had a lot of volume. The cheese, smoked duck with yuzu pepper, and smoked herring were all flavorful. The total cost was 1,240 yen, which was very satisfying. The bar does not charge a cover or service fee, making it a great place for solo drinking. The atmosphere is like a bar attached to a tobacco shop in Spain or Italy, and smoking is allowed inside. Overall, I had a great experience and may become a regular customer this summer. Thank you for the meal.

A bar located about a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. I ordered Shirohonoka for 570 yen and Cheese Potato for 460 yen. Shirohonoka is a white beer with lively yeast, very delicious! It's not common to find this beer in many places, so it's great to have it near Shinbashi Station! The Cheese Potato tasted as expected, but the cheese was rich and quite tasty. It's a good place for a quick second drink. It's connected to a tobacco shop, so it might be tough for non-smokers. Thank you for the meal.

New Shimbashi, a town of salarymen, has a high smoking rate. The smoking area next to SL Square is always crowded. Cafe Tobacco near Karasumori Exit targets smokers, allowing them to smoke freely without worrying about their surroundings, a unique concept. Now, let's talk about a bar I found in Shimbashi called "The Rockwell". This place is attached to a tobacco shop, but you can enjoy alcohol and snacks at a reasonable price with no cover charge. Although it seemed like there were many smokers due to the nature of the shop, the place was not smoky, possibly due to good ventilation. I don't smoke, by the way. They have a good selection of beers. Sapporo Draft Beer is 360 yen for a half pint and 670 yen for a pint. Ebisu has Regular, Premium Mix, and Black options. The food menu mainly consists of light snacks such as beer edamame for 460 yen, french fries for 360 yen, and prosciutto for 770 yen. Tonight, I just had one drink. I tried the "Shirahonoka" for 570 yen, a beer recommended by the staff. It had an elegant aroma and was slightly cloudy. The "Iburigakko" for 460 yen was delicious when paired with cream cheese. The total bill was 1030 yen. This is a reasonably priced and easy-to-use place, with a good location, making it suitable for meetings and gatherings!

I went to this place just to see the rare Shirohonoka beer. It's conveniently located near the station and easy to find, but the interior is small, making it a great spot for a quick drink alone. I visited on a weekday evening and got in smoothly. The Shirohonoka beer was indeed delicious, with almost no bitterness typical of beer! It goes down so smoothly that you could easily drink a lot, but be careful because it's unfiltered beer and you might get drunk quickly if you overdo it (lol). Payment is cash only, which is hassle-free. The staff were friendly, and I definitely want to go back again.

I found a reasonably priced pub-style restaurant near Shinbashi Station! Rockwell (Dining Bar) Official not found. A place where you can enjoy Ebisu Premium Mix. There is a dedicated draft tap where you can enjoy Ebisu Beer and Ebisu Premium Black 50/50. It's a strange place that is integrated with a tobacco shop, but the smell is not particularly noticeable, and it's a mysterious place. We started with fresh vegetable Bagna Cauda. The anchovy and garlic sauce was perfect. The recommended item at this restaurant seems to be smoked dishes. I tried a selection of three types: cheese, duck, and bacon. The smoked dishes are really addictive. There are also options like eggs and Iburi Gakko, which I'm sure are delicious. Finally, I had the classic pub-style Fish & Chips. I forgot to take notes, but it seems that the type of fish changes depending on the week, so you can choose what's delicious at that time. It was surprising to find such a convenient restaurant in an unexpected location. I ended the meal with a Bacardi Mojito and relaxed. They have draft beers that are not commonly found, Bacardi Mojito, and a strong presence of Sapporo Beer, but I think the brand image is clearly conveyed, so I like these kinds of places. This is an article about a past event where I participated in a Premium Black event.

Visited the store on Wednesday around 9 pm. It's conveniently located and I often find myself stopping by. It seems like a cigarette shop on a corner has been turned into a bar. The design of the place is reminiscent of a British pub. The bright cigarette advertising displays are a bit off-putting though. There's no cover charge, and you can just have a beer while waiting for someone. In fact, it's often used as a meeting spot for ladies and gentlemen in Ginza. On this day, I had an Ebisu Premium Mix (\500). It had a creamy taste and the fine bubbles were very beautiful. I'm sure I'll find myself stopping by again.

S and HK went on a date at "The Rockwell" in Shimbashi, close to Ginza. You can see "Ore no Yakitori" across the street. The trendy standing bar is renovated from a tobacco shop, and there are many Westerners chatting loudly in English. We didn't eat this time as we had already eaten in Ginza, but they serve proper snacks here. It's nice that you can drink "Shirahonoka" for 550 yen.

This is a Philip Morris restaurant. There is a real tobacco sales corner at the entrance. At first glance, it's hard to tell what kind of shop it is. It feels like a missed opportunity. It's a pub that specializes in a wide variety of beers. The service for food and drinks was a bit slow, but I guess that's because it's still new. It's a convenient place for beer lovers. Perfect for meeting up or killing time. It's small, so maybe they should consider making it all standing room? The cheddar cheese potatoes were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while, but on my way back from a French restaurant, I discovered a lovely bar in Shinbashi. It had a foreign atmosphere that I really liked. The walls were covered with a wine menu that was reasonably priced. They also had beer and mojito menus available. I saw a Black Ebisu Premium Mix on the menu for the first time. They even had a special server for it. I decided to try it, and it had a nice blend of Black Ebisu's richness. The staff were friendly and explained things well. It's a cash-on system, so you can drink as much as you like and pay at the end. The food menu was also quite good. Whether it's for a casual drink, a second round, or a quick drink, it's a versatile place. If I have business in Shinbashi again, I'll definitely stop by.

Located right next to Shinbashi Station, The Rockwell, a beer pub by Philip Morris, opened on July 13th. I heard that they offer unique beers and a la carte snacks for around 1,000 yen per person, so I decided to stop by. The interior is well air-conditioned and it's a rare place where you can enjoy both alcohol and tobacco. Despite people smoking at the next table, there was no smoke or smell at all! The space was designed by architects to create a comfortable environment for both smokers and non-smokers in terms of smoke, smell, air pressure, and temperature. The menu includes draft beers such as Ebisu Premium Mix and Shiro Honoka, mojitos, bottled beers, and a variety of delicious a la carte dishes. I ordered the Ebisu Premium Mix and Shiro Honoka, both of which were delicious and unique. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for a quick drink or a full meal. I will definitely be back before the end of summer.

On a hot day, nothing beats a cold beer♪ I stumbled upon a new beer pub at the border between Shinbashi and Ginza, so I decided to check it out. Watching the people passing by, I started off with a glass of Shirohonoka for only 550 yen - I couldn't believe they had it! And it was delicious and so cheap! As I was enjoying my drink alone, I happened to bump into someone nearby and we ended up drinking together without even toasting. I also tried the Ebisu Premium Mix for 500 yen, which had a swirling pattern of foam - very cool! They had about 9 different foreign bottled beers, so I decided to try a few more for comparison: - Beck's for 750 yen, a German Pilsner - Sol for 750 yen, a Mexican Lager I also tried a Mojito for 700 yen. The food menu offered a variety of snacks that paired well with beer: - Edamame for 300 yen - Cheddar Cheese Potato for 450 yen - Assorted 5 Sausages for 650 yen - Today's Fish & Chips for 750 yen, which was made with cod and served with tartar sauce and vinegar - Tender Fried Octopus for 550 yen - Smoked Bacon for 550 yen There was no cover charge, and the best part was that the draft beer was cheap and they had a wide selection. Located at the border between Ginza and Shinbashi, it was interesting to observe people from both areas. It's a great spot for a pre-drink or for later in the night. Although smoking was allowed as there was a tobacco shop attached, the ventilation was quite strong so it wasn't too bothersome. It's definitely more affordable than a regular cafe, so I'll definitely be going back again. Cheers!

As I was walking from Ginza towards Shimbashi, I came across a new bar. When I got closer, I saw a sign that said...Black Label 350 yen, Ebisu 450 yen, Shirohonoka 550 yen, Ebisu mix 500 yen. The prices seemed quite cheap, so even though it was only 5 pm, I decided to go in. The bar had a very open and inviting exterior, with a terrace-like seating area. It was perfect for this time of year. The system was cash-on, so you had to enter first and then place your order. I ordered a Shirohonoka for 550 yen, which was a steal. The second drink was Ebisu Premium Black for 500 yen. The prices were unbelievable. I moved to the outdoor seating area and enjoyed watching people pass by. The food options were mostly light snacks, but they were homemade and delicious. The bar could be used for waiting, killing time with a beer, or having a final drink before heading home. The atmosphere and music were great, and the location was perfect. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. Ginza 9-chome is really starting to liven up!

In Japan, the culture of bars seems to be finally catching on... When I visited Italy, I loved the casual places where you could have a quick espresso standing up and they also served things like prosciutto and beer, making it a nice and relaxed place to hang out even during the day. I found a similar atmosphere at a place just a 1-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. It's a great option when you're not feeling like Starbucks but want something more casual. Sorry for being a bit late (actually quite late!) for our meeting, let's cheers to catching up! The Rockwell is known for its delicious and wide variety of beers, but since I don't drink beer, I went for a mango mojito instead! The garlic oil seasoned edamame was a nice twist, and the octopus fritters were delicious. This place was originally opened as a test store for Philip Morris, where you can enjoy both alcohol and tobacco as indulgences. Even for non-smokers like me, they have strong air conditioning in the small 14.5 square meter space, so you don't even notice the gentlemen next to you puffing away! I even asked the staff where the ventilation fan was located (haha). We ordered some delicious appetizers like in a restaurant and tried three different mojitos. The wall posters displayed beers from around the world, which made me wish I could visit those places... But I did get to try a refined and elegant Shirohonoka served in a tequila glass. It was my first time trying beer, and it made me think my life might have been different if this was my first beer... I finished it all. Shirohonoka is served from a keg and has a short lifespan of only 3 days. The store is prepared to throw it away once it expires. They only handle it at the shop with a commitment to hygiene management. If it looks like it might not be finished, they might refuse to serve it. I was lucky to be able to taste it. The specialty of this place is beer and mojitos. They offer five types of draft beer, including "Ebisu Premium Mix" (500 yen) and "Shirohonoka" (550 yen), which are still not widely available in stores. The Premium Mix is a combination of Ebisu beer and Ebisu Premium Black in a 5:5 ratio. It is known for its creamy cappuccino-like foam poured from a dedicated server. This foam! It really does look like cream. This is my friend's glass, but I tried a bit of it, and I like the taste of the black beer. I can't drink a lot, so I always end up getting a bit from the person next to me (haha). It gets crowded from 5 to 7 pm. When I went, it was a bit empty... but then more and more older gentlemen started coming in (haha). It quickly became packed. Whether you're alone at the counter or with a group of four, you can have a great time. I wonder if the energy will shift towards a club vibe... Just imagining it... It was a fun gathering. I definitely want to come back to this casual drinking spot.

We went to a newly opened beer pub called "TheRockwell" in Ginza 9-chome with a close acquaintance. We enjoyed the wide variety of beers and engaging conversations with everyone. The location is about a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, Ginza Exit. However, we mistakenly passed it, thinking it was a tobacco shop, near the takoyaki shop. The interior of the pub has a counter-style and a few table seats, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere. The main beer menu includes: - Sapporo Black Label 350 yen - Yebisu 450 yen - Shiho no Ka 550 yen - Yebisu Mix 500 yen Surprisingly affordable for Ginza! And they even have "Shiho no Ka!?" and "Yebisu Mix!?" which are not commonly found in other places. We decided to order Shiho no Ka as it is a specialty of the pub. Cheers! The beer has a silky texture, creamy foam, and a smooth barley flavor that makes you want to drink it all at once. It pairs perfectly with edamame as a snack. We also tried the Mango Mojito, a recommended drink at the pub. It was refreshing and had a nice herbal aroma and flavor. For food, we had the daily special Fish & Chips, which had a refined taste and was different from the traditional British version. They even served vinegar with it, a nice touch. Have you ever tried Fish & Chips in the UK? We also tried BECK'S, a German Pilsner, which was recommended by the staff. It's a beer for beer lovers, and although it was my first time trying it, I didn't dislike it. For dessert, we had Raisin and Almond Tofu with Nuts, which had a unique flavor combination that was surprisingly delicious. Have you tried it before? We also had pickled radish with yeast, which was addictively tasty. To finish off, we tried La Boire, a French super-premium vodka. It had a refreshing and easy-to-drink taste, with hints of La France pear aroma and a velvety mouthfeel. It's a great choice for those who are not fond of strong alcohol. Overall, we enjoyed various new drinks and dishes at the pub. With affordable prices and no cover charge, it's a great spot for a casual drink in the Ginza area. Perfect for a first or second round, and they even offer tea time. We're looking forward to visiting again! If you want more details, check out the link provided.
