It was amazing when dipped in the buttered potatoes! ☆Grilled seafood set - The squid was so fresh and the scallops were juicy and sweet. ☆Salted fish roe - Classic dish, just the right amount of salted fish roe. ☆Whitebait tortilla pizza - Even though it was cold since I arrived late, the crispy crust was delicious. ☆Squid tempura - Another great dish, everyone was enjoying it while savoring the flavor of seaweed. I was initially thinking of going to a different restaurant, but I'm glad we chose this place instead of a random izakaya! We ended up drinking a lot, and the bill was over 5000 yen per person, so I had to apologize to my boss and let him pay (･∀･) Even though I had been saying I couldn't eat much due to being sick, I ended up eating and drinking quite a lot, haha. A total of 7 dishes including grilled seafood and eel rice bowl course, which was pre-ordered. The menu cooked on the stove as always tasted delicious. The honbinosu clam had a strong umami flavor. I was impressed by the quality and effort put into the grilled crab miso in the shell. The sea bream sashimi was also fresh and delicious. After finishing dinner, we decided to go to Isomaru Suisan in Kinshicho for a second round. Despite going around 8pm, it was surprisingly empty. Perhaps due to COVID, the customers have not returned yet. It felt quite lonely. It had been over 3 years since my last visit, but I was relieved to see that the appetizers hadn't changed. (laughs) Since we were already full, we ordered some snacks and finished with chicken ramen. The must-order dish here is the crab miso grilled in the shell. I highly recommend it. The chicken ramen tasted similar to the one at Tori Yoshi Shoten. It was delicious.

When we ordered the set meals for two people and waited for the food to come out, they brought out one portion of rice and said they only had vinegar rice left. We had to change our order to a rice bowl. I wish they had told us when we ordered. The food was good as it was from Isomaru Suisan.

The service in the dining area was better than other stores. The kitchen staff was too loud and it was a bit annoying. Other customers actually complained to the staff. The food was delicious. Crab cream croquette - the crab miso was good. Island sushi - loved the texture change and the mustard marinated horse mackerel set meal - the horse mackerel was juicy and tender. Baked scallops, crab fried rice - average. Not great. It's a chain store, but I thought this particular store was good.

I didn't feel like searching further or going to the South Exit, so I decided to go to the prominent Isomaru. I have been here many times, so I already knew what to order - crab miso and Hoppy. This time, I also ordered potato salad. The crab miso here is easy to eat, not too strong in crab miso flavor. It goes really well with alcohol. The potato salad was served in a small square dish. Inside was a regular potato salad, which was delicious. However, I didn't care for the tempura scraps on top. I think it's for texture, but personally, I didn't like it. I thought it would have been better if they used squid or other seafood for texture, but maybe it's not cost-effective. This place is probably open 24 hours, so be careful not to drink too much! I arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 pm after traveling from Ichikawa to Kinshicho on the Sobu Line. The counter and tables were quite empty, so I sat at the counter. I ordered my usual "Shirahama" shochu on the rocks for 250 yen as part of their lunch service. It's an easy-to-drink sweet potato shochu, and I had four glasses. Since I planned to have my meal here, I ordered the "Maguro Yukke Don" (680 yen) with less rice. It arrived promptly. This menu is one of my favorites, so I have tried it at various branches. The tuna is topped with a sauce made from Kochijang, which makes the rice even more delicious than regular soy sauce. It pairs well with alcohol too. In the center, there's tuna sashimi and quail egg, which you mix together and then further mix with the rice for a tasty combination. We were seated at the counter and served a small dish of sand lance and fish cake, among other things, in a basket. They said to eat the fire here. Alright, let's give it a try. The restaurant we visited was "Isomaru Suisan Kinshicho Store", located near the north exit of Kinshicho station. Isomaru, open 24 hours, is an oasis for drinkers. Since it was our second round, we left the ordering to our friends. Let's check the beer as usual. The beer here is "Kirin Ichiban Shibori". I found a strange drink, Hepalise mixed with shochu... This is amazing! It tastes good and feels like Hepalise is protecting my liver no matter how much I drink. Everyone at the table ended up having Hepalise mixed drinks. The grilled crab miso shell and assorted shellfish were delicious and went well with Hepalise. Grilling seafood in front of you while drinking is a luxurious way to enjoy alcohol. After waiting for about 7 minutes, the ordered dishes were brought to me one by one. First, the negitoro bowl. Then, the black macaroni salad. And still, the crab miso shell bake. I put the crab miso shell bake on the grill. It's irresistible. I enjoy it luxuriously. The crab miso shell bake is delicious whether eaten raw or grilled. It's also great with the negitoro bowl.
