The location of this traditional Japanese restaurant in Ginza, close to Shinbashi, is convenient. However, the interior and the quality of the food are just average. Given the upscale location of Ginza, the prices may be expected, but I can't recall anything that was exceptionally delicious. Of course, there was nothing that tasted bad either. The only thing I remember as being delicious was the Wagyu steak. The taste and the prices don't seem to match up, so that's why I'm giving this review.

I sat far away from the maskless chef at the spacious counter and ordered the "Salt Ramen" for 1,100 yen (a 200 yen increase from 10 years ago) based on the menu displayed outside. I heard from the kitchen that the "Salt Ramen" was ready, followed by the realization that the daily special was grilled bream from another customer's order. I waited for 13 minutes, listening to the conversation of other diners, before my "Salt Ramen" arrived on a large tray. The salad was a nice touch, typical of a Japanese restaurant. The salt ramen, garnished with condiments, was flavorful and served with rice balls. As the next customers arrived, I quickly finished my meal and left.

As it is a shop in Ginza, the cost performance is not great. However, you can enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine in a lovely space. The seats are mostly private rooms, so you can relax. Although they had a lunch special with grilled fish, I opted for the fried food lunch instead. The main dish was delicious and the rice was also tasty. On December 11, 2018, I visited a restaurant located at the end of the club district in Ginza 8-chome during the day. It was not very noticeable as it was located on a corner. I decided to give it a try. The interior of the restaurant seemed quite spacious, with private rooms available. It had a chic atmosphere and seemed like a place where business entertainment might take place at night. I was seated at the counter, where I could watch the chef preparing dishes for the evening while cooking my lunch. The lunch menu had over 10 options, including the popular eel dish and various other traditional Japanese lunches. Among them, there was an unusual dish - rice curry. Normally, I would order a sashimi set at a place like this, but being a curry lover, I was drawn to try it. The counter seemed to have many regular customers who were chatting with the chef in a friendly manner. Soon, the rice curry arrived with salad, pickles, and a dessert of warabi mochi. It also came with a cup of black tea. The curry was quite yellow in color and appeared to be lightly seasoned. It tasted just as it looked - delicate and subtle. It had a nostalgic taste, but I felt it was slightly lacking in flavor. It was more like an old-fashioned curry rather than the typical curry rice.

I had lunch at this place a long time ago. There are counter seats, but maybe due to the current situation, I was seated in a private room, which was nice. I chose the three-color fry set meal. The fry consisted of scallop, shrimp, and horse mackerel. The shrimp fry was huge and heavy. It might be because of the batter. The horse mackerel fry was okay. The scallop was average in taste. The side dishes included dried daikon radish, shirasu (baby sardines), and seaweed salad. There was also rice, pickles, and simple warabi mochi for dessert.

Mixed fry set meal for 1300 yen including tax. The shrimp is plump, the scallops are fresh, and the horse mackerel is crispy!✨
