A- B
Yakiniku~♪ I haven't had it since the meat festival, but I wanted to try it as a family service occasionally. I was searching around the Kappabashi Street in Kinshicho, focusing on the Sanchome area, and soon I found "Koko Kara" which will celebrate its 2nd anniversary. The area near the north exit of the station is a zone with black and white signs, while the yellow sign zone... The multicolored sign zone... Coincidentally, the competing companies are color-coded and lined up, leaving only inspiration for the common people walking on the street. Around the central Sanchome area, with Sanchome, which has been around for a long time in Kameido, and Sueba Hiro, the favorite of my second son, the beef cutlet shop was closed before we could eat, so we were looking for a new yakiniku restaurant... After much deliberation, we headed to the yellow zone. Don Quijote was noticed just last year, but now I think the yellow color was exaggerated due to the appearance of the yakiniku restaurant "Koko Kara". We found it by chance, and when I opened the Tabelog app, none of my followers had been there yet, and there were few reviews posted, giving it a hidden gem vibe. Looking at the official website, I noticed that there was a fire performer, so I decided to make a phone reservation and went to visit right away after parking my car nearby. The energetic girl who answered the phone was very friendly. Within 10 minutes of opening, 3 tables were already filled, and we were seated at a table for 2, which I later realized was strategically placed for the yakiniku performance. I should make a reservation in advance next time! My son was excited for the first yakiniku dinner in a long time, and he wanted to stop by a taiyaki shop on the way back from his medical appointment, but I refused and he seemed eager to enter the yakiniku restaurant as soon as possible. If my weight and body fat don't increase, I want to come back to eat again next week. The next morning, my weight and body fat had decreased slightly, so I felt motivated. The noren curtain at this restaurant is large, and if it weren't for the standing sign on the roadside, I might have overlooked it. When I see the sign, I feel a surge of energy and motivation. I had only been eating 30g of meat a day, but I feel like I definitely ate 150-200g here. Since the fat drips down under the grill when cooking yakiniku, it seems quite suitable for dieting. I recently realized that reducing carbohydrates in dinner and consuming more vegetables and protein, as well as finishing eating early, are effective for weight loss. The next day, my body fat measurement showed a slight improvement, so I want to come back to this restaurant again next week. The menu included salad... 680 yen, Kami... 1,980 yen, Legendary Mix JR... 3,580 yen, Rare Cut (first experience) Cheek meat... 780 yen, Cheek shabu-shabu... 780 yen, BBQ Dekaharami... 2,480 yen, Salted wasabi pork toro... 680 yen. Together for 2 people, I felt like I ate about 600g of meat. I added black wagyu kalbi... 1,180 yen, which was delicious even though it was a regular cut! The two pieces of sushi were thin, reminiscent of meat sushi. This week, I also had steak for the first time in a while at Shima-san, with seafood for me and a jumbo 300g lean meat for my son. Red meat and tongue didn't make my stomach heavy, making it suitable for dieting. I haven't been to Korea since I traveled there 15 years ago, but come to think of it, the authentic Korean barbecue back then was similar, where the staff cooked the meat and we just dipped the cooked meat in sauce and ate it. At that time, I wasn't satisfied because Japanese wagyu was more delicious, but it seems that even cheap meat can be delicious when prepared by Japanese people!
