In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Shinbashi, there is a cozy cafe where you can relax. The pancakes here are thick and rich, yet they evoke a sense of nostalgia. Each coffee cup is unique, adding to the charm of this chain cafe. It feels like a place that deserves more recognition.

I used it for lunch. It was a gap time, so I was able to enter relatively quickly. There were several restaurants in the building, but I didn't feel like sitting at the counter, so I wanted to spend a relaxing moment. The menu seemed a bit pricey, but it's understandable as it's near the station. I ordered Genovese pasta and iced coffee. The pasta had a strong flavor and was delicious. I might want to eat it again. The coffee also had a rich taste and was very satisfying. It would have been nice to stay a little longer instead of leaving in 20 minutes. It was around 1,470 yen. It might be difficult to have it every day for lunch, but considering the taste, it's not bad at all.

Today I had breakfast here. It's been a while since I commuted to the office, but I avoided the rush hour by commuting at a different time, so the area in front of the station was strangely quiet. The commute takes a bit of time, so it's a bit tough on the body (laughs). I arrived a little early, so I decided to have breakfast here. There are a few salarymen working on their laptops. I ordered the ham and lettuce sandwich set and a hot coffee from the breakfast menu. The sandwich had tomatoes in it and was quite filling and delicious. As expected from a coffee specialty shop, the coffee had a rich aroma. It was a great meal.

Clean morning bread, coffee, that's it. Well, if you think you get bread for a price lower than a cup of coffee, then it's a good deal. Having breakfast at Shinbashi Building today. Ordered the cheapest toast. As expected, the coffee is delicious, refreshing yet has a nice weight to it. The toast is thick like in England, with the butter soaked in well, high in calories but delicious! When you consider the size of the bread and the taste of the coffee, it's quite cheap, right? The relaxed atmosphere around here is also quite nice.

Unexpectedly used for a second party. After drinking in Shinbashi, I felt like eating some sweets. The person I was with wanted to eat ramen, but I wasn't in the mood for ramen, I had a separate stomach for sweets! The chiffon cake was lemon-flavored, I think? It was voluminous, with an elegant taste and delicious! The place might be a bit pricey, but it was worth it.

I came to study with iced coffee and Setouchi chiffon cake soft serve. There were many people working, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The iced coffee had a thin straw, so I could drink it for a long time and study a lot.

I ordered orange peel tea, which cost around 900 yen. It looked nice and had a good tangy flavor, very delicious. Other customers were enjoying cakes or morning sets. It was good for a work meeting, but I was surprised when an elderly person started talking loudly on the phone about a business deal. Maybe it's just the atmosphere here, haha. Including this kind of scene, it's all part of the New Shinbashi Building quality, haha. Also, it would be nice if they could guide customers from the entrance to their seats. It was a bit disappointing that they didn't notice us right away.

Salted caramel roll cake set ¥1408
Royal milk tea ¥891
The salted caramel roll cake is moist and fluffy with a moderate sweetness. The cream has a rich buttercream-like taste, and the brown cream has a caramel cream-like flavor with a hint of bittersweetness. It is quite rich and satisfying. The crunchy texture of the nuts is irresistible, and they are evenly distributed throughout. The Royal milk tea is a bit pricey, but the cake is rich and substantial, making it highly satisfying. Overall, I recommend it.

On a late Saturday morning, feeling a bit hungry, I wandered around the Shinbashi area. There aren't many cafes open on holidays around here, so I decided to try something different from the usual chain stores and ended up at this place. It had an old-fashioned coffee shop vibe, and being inside a building made it quieter compared to the cafes on the street. I ordered a clubhouse sandwich, while my friend got the eggplant pasta in tomato sauce, both served with iced coffee. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! The clubhouse sandwich had thinly sliced bread packed with fillings and just the right amount of moistness. The pasta was well-coated in sauce and the eggplant was soft and flavorful. If you're ever lost for a cafe in Shinbashi, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

First visit to Half & Half cake set. It was a great deal as you get to try two different cakes. I thought it was whipped cream but it turned out to be ice cream, and it was delicious! The iced tea came in a brandy glass, which was quite funny and made us laugh non-stop.

After having a meal, would you like to have some tea here? It's conveniently located near Shinbashi Station, so it's easy to pop in. They stay open quite late, which is great for someone like me who doesn't drink much alcohol. On this day, there were still plenty of cakes to choose from. I ended up staying for a second (non-alcoholic) drink.

The other day, I tried a mille-feuille at a store in Kinshicho, and I was curious about the roll cake, so I went to a shop in Shinbashi. The place was full of older men working, probably due to the location. In contrast, the Kinshicho store was filled with women who seemed to be there for tea. I had the salted caramel roll cake with an iced coffee set. The roll cake had crushed walnuts inside and was quite delicious. It was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but I really liked the combination, so I might want to try all the cakes. The iced coffee was really generous, and it would probably be great on a hot summer day.

The shop in front of the New Shinbashi Building is surprisingly spacious inside. I ordered a strawberry shortcake, a milk crepe, and a blend coffee set. The strawberry shortcake had a lot of strawberries on top but only whipped cream between the sponge layers. Despite that, it was delicious, with a good balance of sweet and tart flavors. The milk crepe was also tasty, with sweet cream and layers that were easy to eat. The coffee was simple and easy to drink. The location was busy, and the staff were efficient but not very relaxing.

Client meeting in Shimbashi. The designated meeting spot was "Cafe La Mille Shimbashi" located on the first floor of the New Shimbashi Building next to the SL Plaza on the west side of Shimbashi Station. The glass-fronted exterior made it easy to find, with a cake showcase near the entrance and a cafe area in the back. They offer take-out cakes, and the strawberry cake caught my eye. Cafe La Mille is a coffee shop chain with locations in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba. Established in 1985, it has been a longstanding favorite for nearly 40 years. The interior featured Alphonse Mucha's artwork on the walls, various lamps, and unique decor, creating a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Shimbashi. I usually stick to regular coffee during work meetings, but today I decided to try the "African Moon" specialty coffee. Served in a Wedgwood cup, it had a unique flavor profile. The African Moon blend is a rare variety grown in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, bordering Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was named after the moonlight reflecting on the snow-capped peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains. The coffee was fruity with a soft sweetness reminiscent of black sugar, strong acidity, and a hint of coffee bitterness from a medium-dark roast. It was a delightful choice. The meeting went smoothly, and I hope this convenient Shimbashi location continues to thrive, despite recent closures in the city. The bill came to 910 yen. Thank you for the meal!

I had some time on my way home from work, so I decided to stop by this place. They have a wide variety of cakes! This time, I ordered the Tiramisu Tart and a tea set (1375 yen). They also had Basque cheesecake and strawberry tart that caught my eye. The service was fast, so even if you're short on time, you can relax. The Tiramisu Tart was decent, not too bitter, and would probably appeal to most people. The interior of the shop has a nostalgic old-fashioned coffee shop vibe, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It feels like a nostalgic and good old-fashioned coffee shop. The atmosphere inside the store, as well as the staff uniforms, are nice. I like the small daily cakes that come with lunch. I use this place when I want to relax. I will visit again.

Visited here in a building in Shinbashi to adjust my schedule and take a break. It might be a hidden gem. Ordered the "Japanese chestnut and Western chestnut Mont Blanc set" for 1375 yen. Chose a cafe au lait for the drink. The cake was quite large, similar to Tsubakiya. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Met with my boss on 10/22 for a meeting and arrived a bit early as I wanted to do some studying. I decided to look for a cafe near the station, so I went to the New Shinbashi Building where I remembered seeing a cafe before. As I entered, I was directed to a 2-person table that seemed a bit awkwardly placed. I asked the staff if I could sit elsewhere, and they eventually cleared another spot for me by the glass window. I found the menu to be a bit pricier than I had imagined, but I ordered an iced coffee and a coffee buttercream chiffon cake set. The coffee was smooth and easy to drink, while the chiffon cake was more firm than fluffy. My boss arrived a bit earlier than our meeting time and ordered a chestnut Mont Blanc and an African Moon coffee. The Mont Blanc was delicious with a perfect balance of chestnut and cream. The African Moon coffee was refreshing and surprisingly complex in flavor. My boss even ordered a refill at half price. After our respective schedules, my boss left first, and I followed suit later. Overall, it was a sophisticated and enjoyable dining experience.

I happened to pass by this cafe near Shinbashi Station and decided to stop by for breakfast. It is located on the first floor of the New Shinbashi Building in front of the station. The cafe has a clean and nice atmosphere. I ordered the French toast morning set. The French toast was soaked in egg mixture and had a rich flavor, so it was delicious even without maple syrup. The iced coffee came with proper milk and I was satisfied with it as well. I found out that it is a chain cafe, but I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

After having lunch at the New Shinbashi Building, I went into a cafe to have coffee and found a unique coffee cocktail on the menu. I decided to try the Blanc et Noir, which is an iced Vienna coffee with added cognac. It's a variation of the Amber Queen, a non-alcoholic coffee with evaporated milk, but this cafe serves it as a cocktail with cognac. Served in a long glass with a sharp bulge at the bottom, the drink has layers of dark iced coffee and evaporated milk, creating a beautiful color contrast. Sipping it gently without mixing the layers, you can enjoy the rich aroma of cognac. Despite the alcohol content, it's not strong enough to get you drunk. The sweetness of the milk is followed by the bitterness of the strong coffee, and eventually, it all blends into a smooth iced coffee. It was a bit pricey at over 1000 yen per glass, but I enjoyed experiencing three different flavors in one drink.
