On a day off, I stumbled upon a sign advertising beer and highballs for 270 yen until 7:00 pm and decided to check it out. When I entered, I saw two families already seated in the tatami room. The interior was spacious and had a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a draft beer and also tried dishes like Nagasaki Chanpon, Goto squid tempura with liver soy sauce, Goto squid legs boiled in a pot, edamame, and bite-sized dumplings. The appetizer of three types of cod roe that came with the beer was so delicious that I finished it in no time. The menu features various dishes highlighting local specialties from Kyushu such as mackerel and squid. It's a convenient place for groups, families, or friends, and I definitely want to visit again. Kyushu Netchuya Nishikicho LIVE is an izakaya restaurant in Nishikicho. It serves Kyushu cuisine, ranging from Fukuoka to Kagoshima. For lunch, I had the "Chicken Katsu Set" for 850 yen. The chicken katsu was made with chicken breast meat and topped with plenty of tartar sauce, giving it a Chicken Nanban style. The chicken breast meat was lean and the tartar sauce complemented it well. They also offer free rice refills. The dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) looked delicious too. I'm tempted to come back again. It was a very delicious meal.

I used it for lunch on a regular day. When I entered around 12:30, about 90% of the seats were taken and it was full shortly after. However, most people were going back to work before 1:00, so gradually there was more space available. While it was full, some groups were turned away, so it seemed like it would be smoother if you staggered your timing a bit. There were 6 lunch menu options. All items were 900 yen with unlimited rice and miso soup refills. Since it's a Kyushu-style restaurant, I had the chicken cutlet set meal which had plenty of vegetables and a generous portion of tender chicken cutlet with delicious tartar sauce. The staff seemed quite busy with one person in the kitchen and one on the floor, but they were efficient and their service was likable. (The photo is blurry because I was in a hurry)

On holidays at 5 pm, I was the first to arrive at the restaurant. All the seats had a "reserved" plate on them. It's the season for year-end parties. The appetizer cost 490 yen and included three types of mentaiko. The mackerel sashimi (half portion) was 1990 yen and came with delicious sweet soy sauce. My friend from Fukuoka mentioned that sashimi is usually served with sweet soy sauce there. The Hakata teppan gyoza (10 pieces) cost 990 yen and was delicious, with juicy filling and crispy skin. The Hakata skewers (10 pieces) were 1790 yen and were even better than the specialty shop in Shinbashi that I tried when they became popular. The edamame cost 450 yen and was okay, maybe it's not the best season for them. The natural scallop fry was 680 yen and tasty with 4 pieces. The grilled rice balls with flying fish broth cost 200 yen and came out quickly. The Super Dry beer was 580 yen, which is a bit sad as beer is becoming more expensive. The Zabon sour cost 450 yen, and I liked it so I upgraded to the Mega size for 780 yen. Overall, the food was delicious, but I've had better, so I would rate it a 3 out of 5.

I visited during the weekday dinner time. The restaurant has table and counter seats. You can enjoy fresh fish dishes as they have fish swimming in a tank. The staff, who were young, guided us politely. The seating was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and time flew by quickly. I didn't like that the yuzu pepper was a bit dirty. You order from a touch panel and the service is quick! I would like to visit again for lunch next time. Please visit this place at least once! I hope this review is helpful. I traveled from Fukuoka to Tokyo on a business trip, and on the first day, I went to a restaurant that serves delicious dishes from Kyushu. They had familiar dishes from Fukuoka like mentaiko and sesame mackerel, and everything was delicious! It's rare to find a place in Tokyo where you can enjoy the same quality of food as in Fukuoka at a reasonable price. Even for those who can't easily go back to Kyushu but crave the taste of their hometown, this restaurant will satisfy your cravings.

Located just a 2-minute walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station on the JR Sobu Line in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. ★First visit on 4/21/2022★ This restaurant is located in an underground passage with the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line. Although it is not connected underground with JR... Among the domestic regional stores, I feel that the most common type is Kyushu cuisine! Especially Hakata cuisine (lol) There are so many attractive dishes! There are also many Kansai dishes, but the flour-based dishes are overwhelmingly popular, and that's all there is! (lol) I entered on a weekday (Thursday) around 7:00 PM. The previous customers were about 30%. By the time I left, except for the counter seats, the restaurant was full. The dimly lit interior has table seats, counter seats, and tatami seats. As a solo diner, I was guided to the counter seat. I was handed a large newspaper-sized paper menu. After ordering, I was handed a touch panel for the next order. Shouldn't you just leave the touch panel from the beginning and not need the paper menu? I couldn't help but think to myself (lol) Hakata specialty Goma Saba ★★★★ 890 yen (excluding tax) As the name suggests, it is a Hakata specialty, so it is always on the menu lineup. So I always order it to enjoy the difference in taste! It was a classic taste! Hakata specialty Kawa Skewers x 4 ★★★★ 900 yen (excluding tax) @ 180 yen Hakata's kawa skewers are characterized by their spiral shape! It seems that they are rolled up and grilled crispy with sauce. The surface is crispy and the inside is juicy and delicious! Hakata Teppan Gyoza (Large) ★★★ 990 yen (excluding tax) The characteristic of this gyoza is that it is fried with plenty of oil on an iron plate, so it has a slightly fried texture! The skin is crispy and the inside is juicy! And hot! The gyoza at this restaurant is large in size and has plenty of filling. The gourmet stamp rally being held at Rakutenchi and this store in Arca Underground is quite easy to accumulate while enjoying cheap drinks at Saizeriya. Getting a 500 yen coupon after 3 visits is not bad (although it's a bit of a hassle to redeem). So, since this place is also a participating store, I decided to try their lunch. Compared to MinMin and Shoya, it's not as crowded. Although this izakaya focuses on Kyushu cuisine, their lunch menu is more like a regular izakaya lunch. They used to offer all-you-can-eat mentaiko before, but not anymore. I ordered the recommended Chicken Katsu for 850 yen. It came with tartar sauce, giving it a somewhat imitation Chicken Nanban feel. The portion includes plenty of rice, meager pickles, and miso soup. The Chicken Katsu is described in detail, but it tastes and feels like a pre-fried frozen product. I also got regular sauce because tartar sauce alone was a bit too much. The portion is decently sized, but lacks thickness and spreads out. With unlimited rice and miso soup, this content is sufficient for one serving. I used a coupon, so it was a good deal, but it doesn't come with small dishes, drinks, or mentaiko, making it less appealing for an 850 yen lunch. Surprisingly, they don't accept payment with electronic money here either. I collected the stamps.

Today's lunch was here. When I entered the restaurant at 1:30 pm, there was one customer already there and no one else came in after me. Well, I guess it's normal for this time. I pass by this restaurant quite often, and it seems like they have the same menu all year round. Even though the name includes Kyushu, there is only one menu item from Kyushu. They have a total of 5 items on the menu, mostly priced at 850 yen. This time, I decided to try the chicken cutlet set meal. You can have unlimited rice and miso soup refills. The set meal that arrived didn't have much color. It looked like a typical brown monochrome bento box. The chicken cutlet was stretched out to look big, perhaps there is a concept that it needs to be big. As a result, it was thin, making it greasy. The chicken cutlet was advertised as using domestic chicken breast meat, which is supposed to be juicy because it is chilled. However, I couldn't really tell the difference in the end.

On October 5th, I had lunch at a Kyushu cuisine izakaya called "Netchuya" in Kinshicho. It's a restaurant serving Kyushu dishes from Fukuoka to Kagoshima. For lunch, I had the "Chicken Katsu Set" for 850 yen, while my colleague had the "Kyushu Barley Miso Tororo Set" for 850 yen. The Chicken Katsu was made with chicken breast meat with plenty of tartar sauce, in a Nanban style. The tartar sauce was just right for the lean breast meat. Rice was also offered as a free refill, but I have a health check-up tomorrow, so I resisted. My colleague's Tororo set was more than expected! Plenty of grated tororo on top of rice. The dashimaki tamago also looked delicious. This restaurant made me think, "Should I come back again?" It was very delicious.

Located in the basement of an office building, right next to Kinshicho Station with a zero-minute walk, this restaurant tends to have fewer customers on Saturday afternoons. The lunch menu boasts "all-you-can-eat mentaiko," which caught my attention as I was curious about how they would serve it while taking infection prevention measures. I decided to try their most popular dish, the sesame-marinated mackerel set meal. The meal came with miso soup, rice, cold tofu, and a small dish of mentaiko. The mackerel was coated in plenty of ground sesame seeds and a slightly sweet sauce, with finely chopped onions on top. The mackerel was sliced in a way that made it easy to eat with the onions. The combination of the nutty sesame flavor and the sweet and savory sauce was delicious, and I found myself enjoying every bite with the rice. The miso soup was surprisingly tasty as well, making me want to ask for a refill. After finishing the mentaiko, I asked the staff for more, and they brought out another small dish. It must be quite challenging for them to serve each portion individually. I wonder if they offer an option to turn the remaining mentaiko into a dashi tea rice dish?

I ordered the Chicken Nanban for lunch. It takes a little longer than the Ginger Grilled Chicken because it's fried, but it comes out quickly. The Chicken Nanban is a big piece. Rice, miso soup, cabbage, and mentaiko are free refills. The taste and portion are perfect. The staff were all men, but I wish they would stop stacking the extra mentaiko on the plate and slamming the cabbage plate down. Also, please at least wipe the tables all the way to the edges because the dust is noticeable. Sometimes you might encounter bugs, but it's inevitable for a basement restaurant.

(First review) 05/12/2019 First visit. The restaurant that was supposed to open at 4:00 PM was still closed at 4:01 PM, so I came to this one that was already open. Here is what I ordered: [Food] - Appetizer (500 yen excluding tax, a comparison of mentaiko flavors) - Kagoshima 4 types of bite-sized satsuma-age (680 yen excluding tax, the one with ginger was the most delicious) - Fried beef tripe (680 yen excluding tax, tender beef tripe, I thought it tasted better with lemon juice) - Ago dashi Goto udon with grated yam (650 yen excluding tax, one of Japan's three major udon, but it could easily be in the top five, it was delicious even without the grated yam) [Drinks] - Shirokuma highball (275 yen excluding tax, it was apparently half price during some kind of happy hour) The total came to 3007 yen. I liked being able to order using the touch panel. Thank you for the meal.

(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) was established, and on July 9 of the same year, "Kyushu Netchuya Shinagawa LIVE" was opened. The Kinshicho store opened on July 18, 2015 in "Alca East" B1F, directly connected to Kinshicho Station on the Hanzomon Line. All seats are smoking allowed. Rice, miso soup, cabbage, and mentaiko are all-you-can-eat for all menu items. The taste was decent, but the portion was not enough. It would be better to add more volume or another dish.

This time, I went to Kyushu Netchuya. The calm atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and provided attentive service. The menu was extensive, offering good value for money, and the food was delicious. I would like to visit again! I used it for a night out drinking. It's an izakaya that is particular about its dishes, and I was very happy with the menu that would delight any sake lover. From the starter mentaiko to the gyoza, horse mackerel sashimi, and other snacks, each dish had a strong sense of dedication, and I highly recommend it!

I went around 6 pm and there were plenty of empty seats, so I was seated in a tatami room. The alcohol and food were delicious and served quickly, which was great! My favorite was the gyoza. The all-you-can-drink option was cheap too, so I want to go again.

Gathering of nostalgic members from the Fukuoka era. They have a wide variety of Kyushu specialties and shochu. The bottles are a bit pricey, but the seniors seemed satisfied, so it's all good.

Lunch set A, mackerel sashimi. The crab cream croquette, fried chicken was crispy. Rice and mentaiko are refillable. I think it's a good deal for 850 yen. I'm full now.
