The cost performance is unbeatable, with over 150 types of alcohol available for self-service drink all you can for 1 hour at 600 yen without beer. Located about a 4-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, Oshakana Center in Oshakana offers oysters from Ito-san in Oshu, Miyagi Prefecture, delivered directly from the producer. It's a lively and popular place with bustling lighting and customers. We ordered a kilogram of steamed oysters with shells, about 8-10 pieces, for 1500 yen each, totaling 2 kilograms for 4 people. If you're not into shucking, they also offer raw oysters and steamed ones separately. We opted for the beer-free plan for 2 hours this time, as some people couldn't drink, to maximize the value. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We started with a delicious fish soup appetizer. We also ordered the must-try mackerel can potato salad and chicken gari fried chicken. The potato salad has a mackerel flavor and a creamy texture that is excellent, while the gari fried chicken is addictive with the savory taste of chicken and the crispy fried coating with the sweet and salty flavor of gari. The recommended pickled radish pork roll has a great texture of pickled radish with the sweetness and umami of pork, perfect for accompanying drinks. The bitter taste of the Goya and tomato onion salad captures the end of summer, with the refreshing bitterness of Goya and the umami of the salad complementing the bonito flakes. Moving on to autumn, the salt-grilled saury from Akkeshi, Hokkaido, is a must-try with its delicious bitterness. The sesame yellowtail from Kagoshima's Buri-Oh has a sesame flavor that complements the firm texture of yellowtail, the umami of the fat, and the sweetness of the flesh, creating a delightful experience. The star of the show, the oysters, were easy to shuck with the provided set, and the mineral-rich taste and gentle texture paired perfectly with the ponzu sauce or Tabasco. The oyster fry was also a hit, with a crispy coating and a hot and flavorful oyster inside. We ended the meal with octopus sausage and Vienna sausages, a nostalgic flavor loved by many. The celery pickles were a personal favorite, with a light yet flavorful taste that leaves you wanting more. The omakase futomaki, with its well-seasoned rice and fish flavors, was a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, it was a happy time of eating, drinking, and chatting with friends.
