Considering you can have a satisfying meal of yakiniku for 5,000 yen, it's quite cheap, isn't it? Furthermore, the meat is domestically produced so you can feel at ease. It's not wagyu, but strictly domestic. However, the cheaper meat is processed, so you can't expect much in terms of taste.

Our colleagues, who were on the heavier side, were expected to wreak havoc on the restaurant and we started the feast. We quickly devoured the initial meat served and ordered more, especially the salted beef tongue. However, the eldest among us suddenly felt full after ordering a special large rice serving, causing confusion among us and the server. The rest of us continued to eat, but at a more relaxed pace, enjoying the lively atmosphere with our close friends. The small grill and low heat (charcoal) made the meat cook slowly, and the quality of the meat was not exceptional. Despite that, it was fun to grill meat and have a good time with our friends. At the second party at Hidakaya, I felt an incredible hospitality from a Nepalese lady working alone. I realized that this restaurant really needs to work hard.

In terms of service, it seemed like many people were more interested in drinking than eating yakiniku, so if the all-you-can-drink service was slow, it's natural for complaints to arise.

It's similar to other shops like Gyusho that many people are familiar with. I think it's a step up in terms of price and taste compared to Gyu-Kaku, at least in my opinion. I've used it a few times for company parties or when other restaurants are crowded, or when there are newspaper coupons available. However, I personally rank it higher than Anrakutei. When you go and try the food, there isn't much of a difference, but it's still difficult for chain restaurants to differentiate themselves.

It was so tender and delicious. Overall, I would recommend it for those who just want to enjoy some meat!
