[Ginza Kyuchome Oden Set Meal for 1100 yen]
A lunch set where you can choose 3 items from the daily changing menu along with oden for 1100 yen! Even though it's an oden restaurant, surprisingly everyone chose from the 2 daily changing options, haha. In addition to the main dish, it also comes with side dishes. The restaurant is clean, serves quickly, and the food is delicious, I really liked it! Considering the price is 1100 yen, it's still quite affordable! It's a bit far from my office, but I definitely want to come back. You can check the daily changing options on Instagram.

The portion size is generous and incredibly delicious. I found a lunch spot where I wouldn't mind spending 1,000 yen for the first time. The dashi in the miso soup is particularly delicious. The first sip of miso soup was so good that I couldn't help but exclaim "delicious!" I will definitely go back.

Oden and ginger pork lunch for 1,100 yen with a pay-at-the-counter system upon entering. There are small side dishes included, making it a nice option for a casual lunch. In addition to the ginger pork, there is also a choice of premium pork. The oden lunch is 1,000 yen, but I recommend the oden + side menu for 1,100 yen. The cozy interior is clean. If you arrive at a bad time, you may have to wait in line. If it were around 800 yen, it would become a regular spot for me, but... I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but it is recommended for those working nearby to add to their list of options.

On Friday at 8:30 PM, I visited to grab a quick bite after overtime work. The restaurant was full, so I was seated at the counter. It was a cozy place, not like a street stall but more like a traditional Japanese restaurant. I ordered a bottle of beer to quench my thirst while I waited for my meal. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff seemed friendly, chatting with a group of regular customers. The menu was suitable for snacking, but a bit limited for a full meal. I ended up spending ¥4,730 for two people, which was reasonable considering we didn't drink much. I'd like to come back for a casual drink sometime. The staff, consisting of four members, seemed to be more than enough for the size of the restaurant. They were all wearing different striped shirts, which I found interesting. I'll pay more attention to that next time.

The shop here was welcoming. I ordered the combination set meal for ¥1,100. It allows you to choose two side dishes from a selection. I chose oden and beef tendon. The oden could have been a bit richer in flavor, but the beef tendon was satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant located in the basement of a building in front of Yurakucho Station was a nice place, but it closed shortly after my first visit, apparently due to the impact of the coronavirus. The name was chosen to sound stylish in Ginza, even though the residential area of Ginza is only up to the 8th block. After a long time, I found out that it reopened in Shinbashi on May 26, 2022, and I had been wanting to go ever since. I visited for the first time on September 20th at 5:30 PM. I sat at the counter of the long and narrow restaurant. There were also several table seats in the back. I ordered the kabosu sour and oden that I learned about from the restaurant's blog. First, daikon, egg, and octopus oden, followed by beef tendon. The appetizer was simmered tuna, which was delicious. Both the simmered dish and the oden had a rich flavor. I prefer the Tokyo-style oden. According to the owner, they aimed for a blend of Tokyo and Kansai styles. I have only had Kyoto-style oden in Tokyo, but it wasn't satisfying. I also want to experience Osaka-style oden, which I have never tried before. The beef tendon comes in two varieties in my experience. This restaurant serves the orthodox type that showcases the texture of the tendon. The beef tendon at Otafuku in Shinbashi offers a gelatinous and rich taste. I like both versions. I added a Sapporo beer to the bill and paid 2,805 yen by card.

Today's lunch was at a new restaurant that opened a few months ago. It used to be located in Ginza Nine, but has since moved to this area in Shinbashi. The restaurant seems to be quite popular based on reviews on Tabelog. Their specialty is oden, and it seems to be a popular choice for lunch. I decided to try the maguro (tuna) nakaochi set for 1,000 yen. The meal included rice, miso soup, a small side dish, and the maguro nakaochi on a plate. The food was served quickly and efficiently, but the overall impression was a bit rough. The maguro was decent and the portion size was good. The salad side dish was a mix of macaroni and potato salad. Overall, it was okay. I also saw other customers ordering the oden set, but it didn't really appeal to me. The restaurant seemed to attract a lot of female customers, so it must be a nice place, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

There is a restaurant with the same name as the one that used to be in the place of the izakaya in Shinbashi Go-chome, and I will be going there for lunch the next day. I decided on the "maguro nakaochi teishoku" for 1000 yen from the three slightly different "today's lunch" options, and paid in cash in advance. The counter seats were all full with partitions, so I was seated at a table in the corner where other customers were chatting after their meal, with no partition. As soon as I was served with cold tea, the tray with today's side dishes, mentaiko mayo broccoli and sudachi somen, was brought to me within 2 minutes. The mentaiko mayo was delicious, so I put the rest on my rice. The maguro nakaochi was better than expected, giving me the impression of being able to enjoy it around the old Tsukiji area. The portion of rice was a bit small, making me want to get a refill, but I had to leave quickly as the other customers were still chatting after their meal, so my stay was about 10 minutes. Unlike at Nine, there was only karashi on the table, and I couldn't find shichimi togarashi.

Delicious. The waitress (server) was very friendly. I also ate other dishes but couldn't take pictures.
