Yeti Black Sugar Pearl Sundae ¥330 A new store that recently opened in Ikebukuro, serving popular mixue from China. All menu items are priced at a bargain, which makes me worry about the sustainability of their business haha. This time, I tried their recommended menu item (probably), the Sundae. The Sundae comes with soft serve ice cream and tapioca, topped with black sugar sauce. The soft serve ice cream was creamy and delicious! It was generously portioned, giving a great sense of satisfaction. The tapioca varied from chewy to undercooked with a hard center. Since both the soft serve and black sugar sauce are sweet, eating them together might be too much. It's better to eat the black sugar with the tapioca. The cost performance is excellent, so I hope they don't go out of business.

The tapioca pearls had a chewy texture and were not only on top but also throughout the sundae, making it a very filling and satisfying dessert. And all of this for only 330 yen! They also have many drink options in the 300 yen range, as well as a big size soft serve for 160 yen. I tried soft serve ice cream topped with tapioca and black sugar syrup. It was a great deal for only 330 yen, with a generous portion. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, but overall it was good. I'd like to try their tea drinks next time.

Cheap!! I arrived in the early afternoon on a weekday. There were a few customers inside. I ordered a regular iced tea to go. They asked me about the amount of ice and sweetness level. Is there more than 500ml? I asked for less ice and normal sweetness (it wasn't too sweet). All this for only 100 yen! I was surprised. When I tried it, the tea had a strong aroma and tasted much better than a bottled one. The staff might be Chinese, but they speak Japanese perfectly. I will definitely visit again.
