I climbed from Kibune to Mt. Daimon in the morning, and descended around 10 o'clock. I walked from Ginkakuji towards this shop, which I visited alone for the first time. I aimed to arrive by the opening time of 11:30, but surprisingly arrived around 10:50. There were already several groups of customers ahead of me, and I was the third in line. As I waited, more and more people arrived, and by 11 o'clock, there were probably enough customers to fill the seats. There were many mosquitoes, but I waited leisurely in the beautiful green surroundings. At 11:30, it was my turn to enter the shop. I was seated at the counter by the window. I looked at the menu while waiting to order. I had walked a lot in the morning and was very hungry, so I ordered the regular 2-piece set of pita bread. Of course, I also ordered a beer. After hiking, nothing beats a beer. I had initially planned to order the daily special set, but it was no longer on the menu. Disappointing. I was told it might take a while, so I hesitated between just ordering a beer. However, I waited patiently. I didn't touch my phone or read a book, just gazed at the outside scenery. It was so soothing. When I come here, it feels like toxins are being released from my forehead. Haha. The scenery was amazing, and before I knew it, the beer arrived. I couldn't wait for the pita bread and took a sip. Ah, the best. I think that moment was the happiest I've ever been. While I was thinking that, the pita bread arrived. I ordered chicken and vegetable varieties. Personally, I loved the vegetable pita bread the most. The eggplant and zucchini, with what seemed like a homemade basil sauce, were a great match. This made the beer go down even smoother. I wanted to drink more, but I had to drive in the evening, so I savored my one glass. I wanted to stay longer, but there were many people waiting, so I left the shop early. The sad truth came when I paid the bill. This place will be closing on August 14th. Shocking. I vowed to come back several times before then and left the shop. I want to visit on a rainy day next. I'm sure the sound of rain and the beauty of the greenery will captivate my heart.
