Namaste. I am the self-proclaimed Curry King. A new shisha spot has opened in Ginza, which feels like it was made for me. It's called "Shisha Lounge Ginza." This place is located on the 2nd floor of Ginza Inz 2, which is the same floor as the renowned Mangalorean cuisine restaurant "Bangera's Kitchen." Interestingly, this new spot is owned by Bangera, the owner of Bangera's Kitchen. In India, shisha is enjoyed more casually than in Japan, so it's not surprising to see this new venture from Bangera. Shisha is only my second time trying it, but I wonder how many people have experienced it. Shisha contains a small amount of nicotine but is more about enjoying the flavors rather than smoking, making it accessible even for young ladies. Each shisha pipe can provide flavors for almost 2 hours, allowing you to enjoy it with friends or as a personal relaxation experience. I, of course, want to boast about enjoying it with a lady, but I actually went with my male friend. We chose flavors from the menu, including Bangera's signature spice flavors. You can even create your own spice flavor blend. Curry is like breathing. Let's inhale the enticing flavors to our hearts' content. - Cardamom Kiwi Mint: A lovely female staff member recommended that cardamom pairs well with kiwi fruit flavor, with a hint of mint for freshness. The cardamom's warmth, combined with the sweetness of kiwi, took me and my friend on a delightful journey. Oh, my friend... - Ginza Dynamite: To truly immerse yourself in this sweet world, alcohol is a must. This is a gin and tonic with a kick of green chili. As the alcohol started to take effect, I wondered if it was from the Ginza Dynamite or from being intoxicated by our time together. Oh, my friend... Enjoying adult entertainment in a chic space, in a calm and stylish manner. It's a great time. I heard that Bangera himself uses this place for meetings sometimes. By the way, his favorite flavor is Panrasna. For those who are fans of Bangera, be sure to try it out.

Japan's first manga roll curry restaurant, "Bangla's Kitchen," which received the Bib Gourmand award, has started a surprising new concept. The location is in Ginza Inz 2, where the original "Bangla's Kitchen" used to be. The new "Bangla's Kitchen" is located diagonally across from the relocated store. "Shisha Lounge Ginza" has a chic, moody, and compact interior. It's amazing to think that "Bangla's Kitchen" was able to serve so many dishes in such a small space. In fact, they offer Indian shisha "hookah" here, with a variety of flavors to choose from. You can blend flavors like mint, guava, lemongrass, cardamom, cinnamon, ramune, cappuccino, and more. The hookah has a detachable mouthpiece for hygiene, allowing non-smokers to enjoy it as well. The bar also offers spice-infused alcohol and Indian snacks. It's a new experience to combine hookah and spiced alcohol, such as the Masala Vodka and Dal Vada. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for a unique date in the heart of Ginza.

This is a shisha (hookah) shop that opened on February 16th. I have never smoked shisha or regular tobacco before, so I was a bit nervous as I entered. This place used to be where the famous Bangla's Kitchen was located. Bangla's Kitchen moved a bit further down, and a shisha shop from the same group opened in the vacant space. The staff were all very friendly and patiently taught me, a beginner, about everything. There are various flavors like relaxing, fruity, and spicy, and you can even blend them. As a first-timer, I tried the relaxing Hinoki flavor. With Indian music playing in the background, I sipped on spicy Masala beans and original cola, inhaling the smoke with a bubbling sound and exhaling it all at once with a satisfying "puff". At that moment, I could smell the pleasant scent of Hinoki. From the outside, it may look like a shady place, but even a regular housewife like me had a good time, so I recommend everyone to give it a try.

Today, I attended the reception party of the advancing Bangalas Group's "Shisha Lounge Bar," which will open from tomorrow at Ginza Inz 2. It's wonderful to see their expansion at this time! I was able to relax to the fullest with shisha. (Posted on February 15, 2021)
