We were seated at a counter with a nice view overlooking the former Tsukiji Market site to the southeast. We ordered the Hokkaido B-grade gourmet dish called Spakatsu. It was delicious. There were two seats facing the window, and we had a great view. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is quite lively, like an izakaya, so it may not be suitable for a quiet dinner, but it is comfortable. The prices are about the same as a regular izakaya. If you order sashimi or crab, the price will suddenly go up (the crab in the photo was around 3000 yen). However, you can keep the price reasonable if you don't order the expensive crab or sashimi. They have a good selection of reasonably priced dishes. Just be aware that there is a 10% additional charge for seating, which may surprise you when you pay the bill.

A delayed New Year's party with friends finally happened at the end of June! We had a great time, but the daytime drinking made us all so sleepy. I almost fell asleep on the train ride back home. The lunch course was originally 4500 yen, but we got it for 3300 yen with 2 hours of all-you-can-drink and 8 dishes. We were seated by the window with a great view, even though it was cloudy. The staff was a bit slow with taking our drink orders, but we still enjoyed plenty of drinks. The food we had included Caesar salad with cheese petals, a sashimi platter, delicious fried chicken, steamed salmon with vegetables, colorful vegetables with ginger miso, grilled salmon belly and ray fin, baked rice with clams and corn, and Hokkaido red meat melon ice cream. The all-you-can-drink option included beer, sour, cocktails, shochu, and for an additional fee, premium options like sake and specific shochu brands were available. You could also add on unlimited draft beer for a bit more. The prices were very reasonable! ❤

It seemed like it used to be quite a high-end restaurant. The food was delicious, but with the added bonus of the amazing view, it felt a bit more upscale. We had already eaten and drank a lot during the first round, so we didn't plan on ordering too much, but ended up finishing three bottles of wine with four people. No wonder we ended up with a hangover...

The colorful vegetables with ginger miso were tasty and the miso and ginger flavors complemented each other well. The drink-all-you-can alcohol selection was plentiful, with various Hokkaido local sakes and sours to enjoy. Both the food and drinks were delicious without any disappointments. Even though it's a chain restaurant, it's located on a high floor with a stunning view!! Depending on the location, you can see the Skytree beautifully! I recommend sitting by the window for this. The food is consistently delicious too! The beautiful night view makes the food taste even better (lol). I think it would still be beautiful to visit during the daytime!!!

I decided to visit Hokkaido at Caretta Shiodome 46th floor before the expiration date. The night view was beautiful. I used to visit occasionally, but it had been a while since my last visit. You can see Rainbow Bridge in the distance, and the view is great, making it a recommended spot for a date. The course I had included all-you-can-drink for 4500 yen, plus a crab miso shell grill and upgraded to premium all-you-can-drink, where I got to try various Hokkaido sake such as Fukushi (Kushiro), Chitose (Sapporo), Kunimare (Masumoe), and Otoko Yama (Asahikawa). The dishes I had were: - Caesar salad with fluffy flower petal cheese - Assorted sashimi - Zangi, a Hokkaido classic snack - Delicious seafood hot pot - Crab miso shell grill - Colorful vegetables with ginger miso - Grilled salmon belly and ray fin - Butter corn ramen as a finisher - Hokkaido red meat melon ice cream The seafood hot pot included scallops, salmon, oysters, and vegetables, warming me up and providing plenty of nutrients. The remaining soup was enhanced with more dashi, and I enjoyed the butter corn ramen as a finale. The separately ordered crab miso shell grill was a perfect match with the sake. It was packed with meat and the miso was delicious. I enjoyed it by putting it on the French bread that came with it, and drinking it with sake at the end, which was incredibly delicious.

This time, I chose a seat with a view of the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station. I ordered the Zangi set meal for 800 yen and the daily special set meal (soup curry) for 850 yen. The meal came with rice, tofu miso soup, pickled Chinese cabbage and cucumber, miso pickled green chili peppers, and a croquette with the soup curry. You can have unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. There were a few points that bothered me this time that I didn't notice before... My friend's soup curry took a while to come out, so even when they told me to start eating, I couldn't because it had cooled down, so I think it would be better if the orders were served together. Also, I don't think the miso soup is necessary with the soup curry set meal (^_^;) However, considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the soup curry. For lunch, I chose the Hokkaido fisherman's seafood bowl for 1200 yen, which was one of the 9 set meals using Hokkaido ingredients. The lunch beer was also a great deal at 290 yen. The menu included a carefully selected course with all-you-can-drink for 6500 yen, plus an additional 300 yen for draft beer. The meal consisted of octopus vinegar, assorted sashimi, shrimp and crab tempura, steak, eggplant ohitashi, steamed shrimp and crab, and crab and salmon roe sushi.
