This was a company gathering at a restaurant in Okinawa cuisine, chosen by my colleagues. Located on a narrow street off the main road near Mos Burger on Dojima-zaka, there is a staircase leading down to the restaurant. The interior was bright and cute, decorated with inflatable rings, lanterns, stuffed snakes, etc. It was quite busy with young people, so there was a bit of a wait for the first drink to be served. We had opted for a course with all-you-can-drink, but the waiting time was included in the time for the last order, which was a bit frustrating. The food included sea grapes, mozuku seaweed salad, fried chicken, goya champuru, taco rice, and we added spiral potatoes, jimami tofu, and island pickles. The drink options for all-you-can-drink were limited to awamori, sours, highballs, etc., with Orion beer available for an additional cost. Towards the end, the atmosphere finally calmed down, but the service from the staff and the flow of drinks were not the best for a large group gathering. The food was average. If the atmosphere inside the restaurant had been a bit more relaxed, the overall experience might have been different. The second restaurant we went to later, where we coincidentally met other colleagues, had a more flexible and efficient service, which made the evening more enjoyable. Oh, and they gave us chinquapin cookies as a parting gift! That kind of service is always appreciated. I would consider going back if the opportunity arises. Thank you for the meal.
