Nice to meet you, Ueshima Coffee Shop! I was wandering around my usual area when I wanted to have tea at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Premier, but they only had a dining option at that time, so I couldn't even go in... Luckily, I found your place right next door. It seems that Ueshima Coffee Shop, being part of UCC, only offers sweet drinks. They don't have espresso or cafe latte, just milk coffee. A bit pricey at ¥600, and the iced version is ¥620. I wish they had a non-sweet milk drink option... Maybe I should have tried their Nel Drip coffee that they seem to specialize in... As I sat down on the sofa in the corner, I sank down like in a gag manga! It's so soft! Even though the sofa next to it is the same height, it's super sinking! The seat is so low! I can't even reach my cup with my mouth! Who is supposed to sit in this seat? You need to be 1m tall to sit here, haha! It's a strangely high-ceilinged coffee shop. When I saw the sign for the metro passage, the mystery was solved. It used to be a restaurant, huh? That explains the high ceiling. High-ceilinged places feel more spacious and comfortable, don't they?

Maybe it's my first time entering Ueshima Coffee. I was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar menu item called Milk Coffee and the large size of the L cup. So, I decided to order the regular size of Milk Coffee. The coffee cup was just the right size, not too big or too small. The variety of drink choices was impressive, and I was a bit flustered when asked what else I wanted in my Milk Coffee – brown sugar? Chocolate? In the end, I chose Milk Coffee (unsweetened) in the regular size. When I received it and took a sip, I felt like there was still a hint of sweetness from the milk. Was it just my imagination? I thought about adding sugar separately, but when I did, the taste brought back a nostalgic feeling. It was a comforting sweetness. I'll definitely come back to Ueshima Coffee when I want to relax.

We used the restaurant for breakfast around 8:30 on a weekday. It seems that many people come alone, probably due to the location and time. We ordered at the counter, paid, and then waited at our table. I had Bacon & Scrambled Eggs with Thick Buttered Toast for 850 yen (tax included), and my wife had Thick Buttered Toast for 630 yen (tax included), both with a hot coffee. After about 10 minutes, our buzzer rang, and I went to pick up our breakfast. The toast was smaller than expected but thick, and it was enough for us. We enjoyed our meal.

-I had the limited-time Peru Florida iced coffee (680 yen).
-Just a 1-minute walk from Ueno Station, "Ueshima Coffee Shop Higashiueno Store" is located next to the road where the Metropolitan Expressway runs above.
-The interior of the shop is relatively small but not cramped. It was not crowded on a weekday evening, and I could easily find a seat. It also had a clean atmosphere.
-When ordering iced coffee, there are two types available: drip coffee and the limited-time option. I was drawn to the "limited-time" one, even though it was a bit pricey.
-It had a refreshing taste with no particular aftertaste, making it very easy to drink.
-Unfortunately, there were no power outlets in the shop. However, each table was spacious, making it convenient for working on a PC. The back area is wide, blocking out natural light. Despite that, the warm-colored lighting creates a cozy atmosphere.
-Surprisingly, there were designated seats where you could use electronic cigarettes. This feature may be appreciated by those who enjoy using electronic cigarettes. There was also a smoking booth for traditional cigarette smokers, which could be convenient for them.
-Even though I was working nearby, I didn't notice any smoke odor. This shows a harmonious coexistence between smoking and non-smoking areas, which is quite lovely.
-After spending about 2 hours working, I left for my evening plans. Thank you for the meal.

Second time at Kamishima Coffee Shop. When I entered around 6pm on a weekday, there were only a few customers, so I was able to relax in a spacious setting. The black sugar milk coffee was delicious, perfect for those who don't like strong coffee or have a sweet tooth. The copper mug was surprisingly cold to the touch when I first picked it up, and it maintained that chill even when I was leaving, which was impressive. It would be perfect for a hot day. The muffin was just the right amount of sweetness, not too much. Personally, I wish the prices were a bit more reasonable, but considering the luxurious atmosphere, it might be worth it. I thought it would be nice to have hooks in the restroom to hang bags.

In the morning at Kamishima Coffee Shop, I ordered a set with thick toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, and salad, along with a delicious iced coffee in a brass mug. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere with comfortable chairs and tables, making it a great place to work on a laptop. I received my iced coffee and a pager to wait for my breakfast. The thick toast took about 10 minutes to cook, but when it arrived, it was perfectly golden and buttery. The toast was thickly sliced and had a shiny appearance. I cut it into quarters and admired it before taking a bite. The toast was just the right thickness, not too heavy for breakfast. I prefer thicker slices of bread for a satisfying crunch. The combination of crispy surface and soft inside was delicious. The bread itself was not too sweet or rich, making it a perfect base for the grilled bacon and scrambled eggs. The flavors of the bacon fat, butter, and eggs mixed together beautifully, creating a delightful breakfast experience. The saltiness of the eggs and the coolness of the bacon paired well with the warm, buttery toast. The aroma of the breakfast was as inviting as the taste, filling me up just right in the morning.

I visited after lunch. It was hot, so my wife and I both had iced coffee. I like Ueshima Coffee and Tsubakiya Coffee because they are cozy. When you sit on the sofa, you tend to stay for a long time, but I left early so as not to bother the shop with just one iced coffee.

This is Ueshima Coffee Shop located right in front of Ueno Station. It's not crowded in the morning, so it's easy to use for breakfast. The menu is probably the same as other Ueshima Coffee Shops. The pizza toast was cut, making it easy to eat. It can get busy, but the food came out quickly after ordering!

Butter Toast Set 539 yen. Last day of work in 2019. Had my final morning meal of the year here. Arrived at 7:50 am, it had been a while since my last visit. It seems like the morning menu has changed slightly. Butter-filled toast, best when warm. I quite like the taste of their coffee here. Paid with PayPay. Another delicious meal enjoyed today. December 27, 2019, during breakfast.

I have visited this place so many times that I've lost count! The best thing about this restaurant is that it is completely smoke-free. Paper cigarettes can only be smoked in a private smoking room, but there is a separate area for electronic cigarettes like IQOS, where you can sit at a table and smoke just like in the non-smoking section. Fantastic! However, the electronic cigarette section is a bit small... I think there are only about four two-seater tables. Considering the increasing number of electronic cigarette users these days, it would be great if they added more seats. The electronic cigarette section is always almost full whenever I go. The fact that paper cigarettes are completely isolated is great because the smell doesn't stick to your clothes! I always order safe menu options, so I can't say the taste is delicious yet, but I plan to try different things in the future!

This is a cafe located just across Jewelry Bridge from JR Ueno Station. "Ueshima Coffee Shop Higashi Ueno Branch" * It's a small shop but almost full. It may not be ideal for important conversations. "Iced Milk Coffee Unsweetened 432 yen" The copper mug is nice ♡ It's delicious and cold all the way ~ And instead of paper cigarettes in the smoking area being prohibited, IQOS rental, cleaning, charging, and tasting are now free services. IQOS users will be happy.

I had a rum ball at the Ueshima Coffee Shop in the Tokyo Metro headquarters building right by Ueno Station. It had a crispy chocolate exterior and a soft, moist interior, although the rum flavor was not very strong. I paired it with Ueshima Coffee Shop's bitter coffee, opting for iced coffee due to the hot weather. It was a scorching 30 degrees Celsius... How hot will this summer get?

I decided to take a break after having a meal and heading towards my favorite Nordic cafe near Ueno Station, after moving from Yushima Station in the Chiyoda Line through the bustling streets. I ordered an Iced Coffee size M for 432 yen including tax at the nearby Ueshima Coffee shop before going to the sauna. I sat on a low chair in the non-smoking area and enjoyed my drink. The café was filled with many elegant lady customers. Thank you for the meal. After that, I had three rounds of sauna and cold water baths. While taking a break on the rooftop in the nude, I had a bit of a struggle when a pigeon approached me.

★3.3【FILE 3686】On February 6, 2019 (Wednesday) at 10:52, I visited a café chain affiliated with UCC Ueshima Coffee, which was established 86 years ago in 1933, located on the first floor of a building along National Route 4 in Ueno. The interior of the café has a calm atmosphere with wood tones. There are 28 non-smoking seats near the entrance and 24 smoking seats towards the back, totaling 52 seats, which is relatively spacious. During my visit, about 30% of the seats were occupied. Even afterwards, the café remained relatively empty with about 30% of the seats filled. The customer base is evenly split between men and women. The service is self-service with payment made upfront. The menu includes options such as Morning Bacon, Egg & Thick Buttered Toast for 650 yen, Coleslaw Egg Salad Set for 550 yen, Full Granola Yogurt Mango Berry for 550 yen, Boiled Egg & Thick Buttered Toast for 490 yen, Thick Buttered Toast for 450 yen, and Half Coleslaw Egg Salad Set with Full Granola Yogurt for 650 yen. I ordered the Bacon, Egg & Thick Buttered Toast for 650 yen, which came with an iced coffee. The café serves iced coffee in a copper mug. The morning set includes Bacon, Egg & Thick Buttered Toast served on a white oval plate with a side salad of lettuce, red cabbage, and red bell pepper. It was delicious. The café has a calm atmosphere with wood tones. The iced coffee served in a copper mug was nicely chilled and delicious.

On this day, I had lunch at Ueshima Coffee Shop, located right near the subway entrance in Ueno. I used my LINE Gift received on my birthday to get a sandwich set by adding some of my own money. The coffee was great, and the hot sandwich and soup were delicious as well. The lunchtime crowd filled up quickly, but the atmosphere was calm with mostly adult customers.

A well-known meeting spot near Ueno Station. It's a convenient cafe that is easy to find and not too far from the station, making it easy to meet up with others. I visited for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The last time I was here was just before that, I think. Back then, I had no idea how much the world would change. I ordered a coffee for ¥580 and paid with my transportation IC card. I sat at a table in the back to pass the time. The separate space in the back of the cafe used to be a smoking area, but now it seems to be only for electronic cigarettes. I remember the smell of smoke being stronger back then. Things have changed a lot since then, with the Olympics taking place and smoking rules becoming stricter. I also thought the price of a cup of coffee was lower back then. I'm a bit frugal, so I wanted to keep it under a certain amount since I was only staying for about 10 minutes. It seems like prices have been adjusted due to the recent increase in prices. The turnover of customers inside the cafe was just right, and the fact that you can see outside from inside is a plus. They mention ordering something when you enter, but it almost feels like they're hinting that it's a meeting spot.

I printed at the nearby Kinko's and took a break here. The cinnamon milk tea was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I was able to recharge, the heating was just right, and most importantly, the staff was kind and made me want to come back.

It's been a while since my last visit. I stopped by after shopping in Ueno. This place is near the station but not very noticeable, so it's relatively empty. Today, I had an iced black sugar coffee and a fluffy creme brulee cake. As always, they were delicious.
