I met up with a friend who is also a colleague for drinks near Ueno, and we ended up wandering around until we found ourselves in Yushima. I chose Yamazaki while my friend went with Hakushu. It was my first time trying Yamazaki 18 years, and it was definitely delicious. I think I may have sparked an interest in whisky for my friend. It seems like there are other branches of this place, so I look forward to visiting again in the future!

I entered the restaurant in 1830. The buffet time has a charge of 4,950 yen for men and 3,270 yen for women (plus 10% service charge), including draft beer and course dishes. It's a great deal to be able to drink while chatting with the waitresses. On Mondays, it was all-you-can-drink beer. The dishes come out in order, starting with warm ones. Keeping a whiskey bottle is also much cheaper compared to bars in Ginza.

I visited the 'Suntory BAR Yamazaki' for the first time. There are two large U-shaped counters with many uniformed women inside. There are also many customers, mostly fans of Suntory Yamazaki. They serve a warm consommé soup as a starter, which is very satisfying. I tried a gin and tonic and a Suntory Yamazaki soda highball, both of which were delicious! The ice was also very good, and the way they made the drinks was excellent. Most people had their own bottle at the bar, which adds to the cool atmosphere. They have a buffet time from 18:00 to 20:00, with prices at 2700 yen for women and 5400 yen for men, including draft beer and course dishes within 1 hour and 30 minutes. The regular time is from 20:00 to 23:30, with prices at 3300 yen for women and 6600 yen for men, excluding drinks, with a 2-hour limit. It's quite high-end... For those who are hungry, they also offer a Spicy Curry & Naan (or Rice) for 990 yen.

The Ginza branch also has a luxurious feel, located in a back alley leading to Yushima. The staff are all women, and it is a place where you can enjoy Suntory whiskey. I don't remember if there was a cover charge, but I don't think there was a system for reservations or anything like that. I've been drinking Yamazaki 12 year since before it became popular, so I hope I won't have trouble affording it now that it's in high demand. Overall, it's a place where you can go without worrying too much about the prices.

I visited this restaurant with one other person on a regular night. It is located about a 3-minute walk from Yushima Station. In this area where there are quite a few shady-looking establishments, this Suntory-affiliated restaurant stands out with a strong sense of security. The signboard with "Yamazaki" written on it exudes a sense of luxury. The restaurant is divided into two time slots: "Buffet Time" from 17:30-20:00 and "Regular Time" from 20:00-23:00. During Buffet Time, there is a light meal course with all-you-can-drink draft beer (Premium Malt's and black draft) for 1.5 hours (tax included: 2,475 yen for women, 4,950 yen for men), while Regular Time (seating charge included: 3,025 yen for women, 6,050 yen for men, drinks not included). Why such a price difference between women and men? Well, when you visit the restaurant, you'll immediately understand why - all the bartenders are beautiful women! You can enjoy conversations with the bartenders or with your companions. However, this is not a girls' bar, so the bartenders won't pressure you to order more drinks (but it's okay to treat someone you like). The first bartender who greeted us that day, a woman with long beautiful hair, had lovely manners and conversation skills that made me think, "I want to marry someone like her." Now, joking aside, I visited with a friend during Buffet Time. A woman with short hair welcomed us politely and escorted us to our table. I ordered a beer from the female bartender. The beer she poured was impeccably done and had the taste that you would expect from "Suntory." The food was not heavy but just right for snacking, and you can have refills. Many people seem to keep bottles, and looking at the menu, whiskies like "Yamazaki" are available for about double the regular price, making it a good deal. I thought it would be great for entertaining important people who love whiskey without feeling too stuffy. Of course, going alone is also nice. Thank you for the meal!

I used this place as a second party after dining with customers. It's like an officially approved Suntory bar, and I was taken there by someone. The staff are all women, and it feels a bit like a nice girls' bar. You can also keep a bottle, so I put in a bottle of Hakushu. Considering the atmosphere and location of the place, I think 9,000 yen is cheap. Adding mint to Hakushu gives it a summery feel and makes it even better. Since it was a second party, I was already full, so I just had some light snacks. There's no need to mention the dried snacks in particular. It might be good to know about such a unique place on Nakamachi Street.

A girls bar in Okachimachi. The staff all wear black suits, and regular amateur women make drinks at the counter seats. The bar has a calm atmosphere with dim lighting using woody materials, and offers a wide variety of whiskey along with meals early in the evening. There is a cover charge for entry. It is convenient for entertaining clients. There are solo salarymen as well as groups of 2-3 people enjoying drinks for business entertainment. I paid for three people and it was around 21,000 yen.

I chose the plan until 8 pm, which included all-you-can-drink beer and a buffet meal, totaling around 5000 yen. I wished I could have stayed for another hour. It's important to check the details like time and prices, as they increase after 8 pm.

Girls BAR may sound misleading, but in simple terms, it's a bar with that kind of style. It is located a little off the beaten path, but surprisingly spacious inside, with two large counters divided into two islands. From 6:00 to 8:00, counter food is served like a course meal, and draft beer is all-you-can-drink. Seating is charged, with a set fee of around 6,000 yen for 1.5 hours for entry before 8:00, and around 8,000 yen for 2 hours for entry after 8:00. One of the good things about this place is that all the female staff members have a high level of professionalism. They each show their individual personalities while maintaining the atmosphere of the bar, allowing you to enjoy your drinks elegantly. Since the staff are all beautiful, you may unintentionally misunderstand their kindness, but remember it's part of their customer service. I haven't been able to visit recently, but I would like to go back when I have some free time.
