I wonder if the Yamnyom chicken turned out delicious. I was a bit disappointed that the cheese tempura wasn't as hot as I expected. I was hoping for some stretchy cheese. The seafood pancake and seafood stew were consistently delicious. The plump shrimp was great. It was a good lunch with fresh Makgeolli.

Shinchanpon Hoshigichi's chicken is delicious, and their Korean-style champon is also very tasty! We ordered chicken with garlic soy sauce (forgot to take a picture) and shared it along with the champon, which was just the right amount for two people.

This is my favorite place to visit whenever I crave Korean chicken. My foodie companion insisted on trying the Tan Su Yuk, a Korean sweet and sour pork dish, at Hoshigi 2 Wings Chicken. We usually come here for the chicken, but this time we decided to try the Tan Su Yuk as well. The Tan Su Yuk was delicious, with a crispy coating and tender pork meat. We also ordered the Half & Half Chicken, with bone-in and boneless options in Yangnyeom and garlic soy sauce flavors. The portions were generous and satisfying. We used a coupon from the restaurant's listing on Tabelog to get complimentary soft drinks. Overall, we left feeling full and content. Thank you for the meal!

My foodie partner and I visited the restaurant on Saturday evening. We made a reservation online in advance and got a free soft drink service. We were craving for Korean chicken, so we chose the following menu items:
- Half and half chicken (Yangnyeom flavor & garlic soy sauce): The crispy coating and juicy chicken were addictive. There was no strange smell of chicken meat, indicating its freshness!
- Soft drink: Coke, Corn tea for 330 yen (tax included) was complimentary with the online reservation. It's a good deal to reserve in advance. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I was taken to this restaurant for lunch by a Korean friend who said it was delicious. I tried dishes I had never eaten before:
1. Spicy and flavorful pork dish with a rich broth made from pork bones. It was priced at 1180 yen.
2. A traditional tonkatsu with a Korean-style sauce that tasted like demi-glace. It went well with rice.
3. Korean-style Jajangmyeon with a sweet sauce. It's recommended for those who don't like spicy food.

A Korean friend living in Tokyo took me to a restaurant that serves delicious Jajangmyeon. We ordered a set of Jajangmyeon and Champon noodles. My friend advised me to mix the Jajangmyeon sauce well before eating. When I tried to eat it without mixing much, my friend corrected me. She spoke to the staff in Korean, and soon they brought a condiment container with clear liquid. My friend poured vinegar over the pickled radish, which is apparently a Korean way of eating it. The Champon noodles were different from the Japanese version, with a seafood-based spicy flavor that was delicious. Although my friend had prepared a dinner for us later, I couldn't resist trying the chicken. The restaurant's interior had neon lighting, emphasizing its Korean atmosphere.

I wanted to eat Korean chicken so I visited "Hoshigi 2 Hane Chicken"! I had the following: Half & Half (6 Garlic Soy Sauce Chicken, 6 Spicy Yangnyeom Chicken), Oden Tan, Garlic Potato, Asahi Super Dry (medium bottle), Corn Tea High. I indulged in the food! I often crave Korean chicken. I recommend the Garlic Soy Sauce Chicken and Plain flavors. On this day, my friend wanted the spicy Yangnyeom flavor, so we ended up with almost the same colored chicken in our photos. The menu only shows sets to choose from with 6 pieces of Half & Half, but you can also order a single 6 piece Half & Half. Young women often order a set with boneless chicken along with dishes like Roppogi, Jjajangmyeon, and Cheese Tonkatsu, but the portion is huge and I've never seen anyone finish it. Be careful with the portion size. I always ask for only wings and legs. They are huge! When you bite into the hot chicken, the juicy meat juice is irresistible. The Garlic Soy Sauce Chicken is refreshing but the garlic flavor lingers until the next day, it's a must-try deliciousness. There are two types of Yangnyeom, and the spicy one makes your lips tingle. Thanks to that, I drink beer faster. It's hot! Oden Tan is a great side dish that gently washes down the chicken. It's essential. The area around the station and Handsome Street is crowded and the seats are cramped, so I always settle in at Hoshigi to relax and enjoy my drinks. Note: Garlic Potato is not a typo (as per the menu).

When it gets really hot, it's impossible to go out! I thought to myself, "I should go now," so after dining at Omni Shokudo the other day, today I'm having lunch here. I ordered Sundubu. They didn't provide wet towels, and they weren't even placed on the table. In this day and age, how about that...? It was served about 7-8 minutes after ordering, but the spoon that came with it was placed directly on the table. Oh no... Seriously? The taste was neither good nor bad, just average. I won't be going back.

I entered the restaurant because I wanted to eat Korean oden. Although it didn't look red at all, it was spicier than I imagined. (It's the real deal, isn't it?) There seemed to be many Korean customers in the restaurant. The interior was interesting to look at, with introductions to various types of alcohol. The taste was very delicious, so I recommend it.

Whenever I watch Korean dramas, I always crave chicken. I've tried chicken at many different places, but this place is highly recommended because you can enjoy various flavors at a great price. Some highlights are:
- The set includes two chickens for only 3,500 yen. Can you believe it? That's enough for one person to enjoy a whole chicken!
- With the Half & Half option, you can choose four different flavors for two chickens. I ordered Original, Yangnyeom, Garlic Soy Sauce, and Buldak. The Original flavor is a must-try with its crispy texture and delicious seasoning.
- The drink all-you-can option is affordable with a coupon from Hot Pepper, allowing you to enjoy two hours of unlimited drinks for 1,580 yen. They even offer three types of Korean soju.
- The menu includes other dishes like Champon (spicy noodles) and Kaelan Chim, which were both delicious and satisfying.
Overall, I was impressed by the fluffy and flavorful Kaelan Chim and the amazing chicken dishes at this restaurant. Highly recommended!

I went to Shin-Okubo because I wanted to eat Yannnyom Chicken!! I also wanted to incorporate it into my diet, so I walked from Shinjuku Station. It was surprisingly close and I arrived quickly! I saw the cheese seaweed roll that I had always admired on social media, so I ordered it! The shockingly delicious taste made me want to eat more!! After that, the long-awaited Yannnyom Chicken!! I ordered the half + half set! It was so much that I couldn't finish it all~ It might be just right for about 4 people! I want to go again!

I found a restaurant after 8 pm. I have bought takeout before, but it's been a while since I dined in. The taste of the chicken can vary, sometimes it's delicious and sometimes it's just okay. Today was a delicious day. The garlic soy and spicy yangnyeom flavors were crispy and tasty. I also had a flat tonkatsu with demiglace sauce from Korea. I couldn't finish everything, so I had the chicken packed to go. The drinks were reasonably priced and there were many young women around. Thank you for the meal! ☺️

I visited this place on a Sunday night as a walk-in. It's a chicken-focused restaurant, so I started off with some Kakuteki and highball to settle in. The atmosphere in Higashi Shinjuku is calmer compared to Shin-Okubo, which is a plus. I ordered a salad with chicken, but to my surprise, the size was huge. It was more like a plate of chicken with some leaves on the side. The ratio of chicken to leaves was off. The chicken was crispy and delicious, coated in crunchy flour. The Chapche Gyoza was unique but not bad. When the main chicken dish arrived, I was even more shocked. It was a half portion, but it was way too much for two people. They gave us plastic gloves to eat with, and the chicken was crispy, sweet, and had a nice texture. It had a strong presence of skin, which made the taste a bit overwhelming. It felt like I was in America, almost like eating Buffalo wings. I packed the leftovers and left. It's best to order from Uber Eats for a home party with a large group.

Even though I was already full from eating hormone, I still wanted to eat chicken. So, I ordered two pieces of crispy Yangnyeom chicken. The chicken was fried perfectly, with a crispy outer layer and juicy inside. The Yangnyeom sauce made it even more delicious. The wings and neck parts were cooked well, so you could even eat the bones. Despite being full, I couldn't resist eating and I was satisfied.

Sunny weather today, looking for lunch in the direction of Shokuan Street. Eating at a round seat in the basement of East Side Square. Bought Korean cuisine. It's still early, so there are not many shops open yet. Ordered tonkatsu without rice. This place seems to have a Korean street food menu? It's a chicken shop, but with different dishes. Tonkatsu with cabbage, sauce, and pickles, each packed separately. The sauce is like a demi-glace. The tonkatsu is slightly thin and crispy.

I ate it as a takeout. The wrapping was done well. It had cooled down a bit by the time I ate it, but it was still delicious. I would like to try eating it at the actual restaurant next time. Ordering half and half with soy sauce and yangnyeom is a good way to keep the taste from getting boring.

I told my friend that I wanted to eat meat, and they recommended this place. Their specialty is fried chicken made with chicken thighs. You can choose two flavors with the half & half option, so I chose the basic fried chicken and a sweet and spicy Yangnyeom flavor. It took over 20 minutes from ordering to get our food, but in the meantime, they brought us some Tteokbokki as a service for reservation customers. The Tteokbokki was pretty standard, not too spicy, just enough to stimulate your appetite. When the fried chicken arrived, we were shocked by the size - it was way too much for two people to finish. We got tired of it quickly. However, they packed the leftovers for us to take home. This place is recommended for groups of four or more.

I wanted to eat the popular Korean crispy chicken, so I headed to Shin-Okubo for the latest boom! The internet-famous restaurant "Hongi 2 Birds Chicken" is a large establishment with multiple branches, and I visited the second branch this time. Reservations are available for groups of 3 or more.
[Ordered Menu]
- Makgeolli (Korean rice wine)
- Chapchae (stir-fried glass noodles)
- Takoyaki stir-fry
- Chicken 2 Birds (spicy Yangnyeom flavor, Garlic soy sauce flavor)
The menu offers various set meals, but I wasn't sure if it was a better deal, so I decided to order items individually. When the chicken arrived, it was a huge portion overflowing on a large plate. We were provided with plastic gloves to eat with our hands.
Korean fried chicken has a crispy coating and juicy meat inside, truly delicious! There are different flavors of chicken to choose from:
- Spicy Yangnyeom flavor: moderately spicy and sweet, very tasty and easy to eat.
- Garlic soy sauce flavor: Japanese people seem to prefer soy sauce flavor, very easy to eat with a mild garlic taste.
The chicken comes with pickled radish, which helps to balance out the spiciness in your mouth. Despite the generous portion of chicken, you can take the leftovers home as they provide takeaway service. This is a big plus point for the restaurant!
Shin-Okubo is very crowded on weekends, but it's more peaceful on weekday evenings without many students around. Hongi 2 Birds Chicken is also conveniently located near Higashi-Shinjuku Station. If you're in the area, you'll want to grab some for takeout on your way back home - it's that addictive!

Located south of Shin-Okubo, just off Ikemen Street and to the left, this restaurant is not in a particularly crowded area with young women. I visited around 12:15 on a weekday and there were about 5 groups of customers already there. The spacious interior had plenty of room. This place is known for its fried chicken and champon noodles, but I didn't realize this and ended up ordering a regular squid rice bowl instead. I kind of regret not trying the champon now. The squid rice bowl arrived after a short wait, and it was a huge portion with squid and bean sprouts cooked in a rich Korean miso sauce piled on top of the rice. The red soup that came with it was a nice touch, as Korean restaurants usually don't include soup. The dish was quite flavorful and filling, although the sauce was a bit too strong for my taste. The soup was a spicy and rich seafood flavor, which I later realized was the spicy champon soup. It was a lucky surprise to get to try both flavors. I wanted to try the fried chicken too, but it's too much for one person.

I went because I wanted to eat Korean food. There were two single dishes and a chicken set, so my friend and I ordered that. The chicken came in a large portion and was very delicious. We couldn't finish it all, so we had almost half of it wrapped up to take home. Kimchi stew wasn't on the menu options, but since it was around the same price, they let us order it. There was only one type of glass of makgeolli available, even though it wasn't listed on the menu. The staff are all Korean, so they aren't very lively or friendly in their customer service, but if you ask, they will accommodate your requests. The food is also very tasty, so I want to go back again.
