I received a mixed lunch for 4000 yen. The cheapest lunch at 3000 yen has processed meat, so I recommend the mixed lunch where you can enjoy three types of meat. It comes with a variety of salads, kimchi, and namul, making it a luxurious meal. The meat has a good balance of lean and fat, with just the right amount of volume, so you can enjoy it without getting tired of it.

We ordered various dishes besides the premium kalbi, and when we suddenly felt like having yakiniku, we could go without a reservation. That's why I love using Jojoen. The marbling on the premium kalbi was shiny and glossy, incredibly tender and sweet. It may cause some indigestion, but it's still delicious.

Sukiyaki Sen is a restaurant where prices vary slightly depending on the location. The mixed lunch at the Hirokoji store was 4,000 yen including tax. After enjoying the Matisse exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, we headed to the restaurant craving some meat, only to find out it was closed for the day. We ended up at this restaurant instead, which was almost full. The beer here is absolutely delicious, and the meat is also very tasty. The service is excellent too. We left feeling full and satisfied.

It was Saturday so I couldn't make a reservation online, I decided to go directly to the restaurant. After waiting for about an hour, I was able to enter. The service from the staff was excellent and the atmosphere with the private-like partitions was nice, although it was a bit dark. The food was decent for the price. The salad was highly recommended and tasty, but the seasoning was a bit too strong. The rice was very appetizing. The lunch prices were the same on weekends, which was appealing, and the taste was consistently good. I would like to experience the atmosphere of the other branches as well. There are three branches in Ueno, so I am curious about them.

Headed to Jojoen on Ueno Hirokoji! It's been a while since I've been to Jojoen. The quality of the meat here is top-notch - high melting point, fillet, and loin. It's like eating steak!! So delicious. The Negi-maki Tan was also delicious!! The assorted horumon platter was small but very elegant. When it comes to beautiful yakiniku, this is the place to go! It's nice to indulge in this once in a while! However, the drinks are expensive, but that's to be expected. Thank you for the meal!

The deep-fried garlic was delicious, and the kimchi with celery was also tasty. It was crowded when I went on a weekday, but the staff quickly cleared our plates, which was nice. If I feel like eating yakiniku in Yushima again, I would definitely come back here. ☺️

I always use this restaurant and the quality is always stable and very delicious. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance on Friday nights because it tends to be crowded. I tried the beef tendon tofu for the first time and it was delicious with just the right amount of spiciness! I will definitely visit again.

It's been a while since I went to Jojoen. This was my first time at the Ueno Hirokoji store. The interior has a nostalgic feel, it's clean but has a Showa era vibe...it seems like a place for business entertainment. [Items ordered] - Egg soup - Kimchi assortment - Jojoen salad - Yukhoe (Korean style beef tartare) - Grilled tongue with green onions - Special assorted grilled meats - Silver plate cold noodles - Ice cream (you can choose matcha or vanilla) I ordered quite a few non-meat items, so I feel like I didn't eat much meat...but I still ended up really full. The special assorted meats had a lot of fat marbling, which was delicious but a bit heavy. The complimentary ice cream was a nice touch. Having coffee available was also good! Jojoen always provides polite service and delicious food at any of their stores, making it a consistently comfortable experience. Thank you for the meal.

Visit at 11pm. Overall, the taste is more like a commercial one. Feels like a chain restaurant. It's expensive and I think it's best to go on special occasions. There's nothing particularly delicious about it, just a very commercial taste. Well, I think it's okay to go maybe once a year for some kind of event.

Today's dinner was at this place! I had the monthly course meal - salad, kimchi, japchae, and beef soup! I'm already quite full. The beef soup is rich and delicious. The beef tongue is exquisite - tender and melts in your mouth. I don't usually eat raw beef, so I'm happy to have yukhoe. The kalbi is elegant and delicious. We finished with cold noodles - refreshing. Japanese yakiniku is delicious!

In 1976, the first branch of Jyuban-en opened in Roppongi, Tokyo. Jyuban-en has expanded its stores nationwide and maintains consistent deliciousness by adopting a central kitchen system where procurement and processing are done in-house. The main facility for this is the Jyuban-en Food Factory, built in 2007. This two-story factory on a 1000 square meter site is mostly operated manually, earning it the nickname "a factory without machines." The Jyuban-en Salad, a popular menu item since the beginning, is meticulously prepared to ensure the same taste every time. The dressing is adjusted based on the moisture content of the salad greens and cucumbers, with the amount made at once limited to two servings. While Korean cuisine is the origin of BBQ, Japanese BBQ has developed its own unique style, such as the BBQ sauce, which is a mix of sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil. In recent years, terms like "Korean barbecue" and "Japanese barbecue" are used to distinguish between the two styles. BBQ sauce can be considered a taste created by Japanese culture.

Lunch at Shabu-Shabu Onyasai is honestly not my favorite, but I think the lunch set is a good deal. It was my first time having lunch there and I have to say, the dressing is delicious! With meat, rice, soup, salad, and dessert included, you'll definitely leave feeling full. It's a luxurious feeling to indulge in a nice meal during the day, so I recommend it for that reason.

It was a bit of a tricky time around 3:30 on a national holiday, but I searched for a restaurant that was open all day. I found a well-known and trusted restaurant where alcohol was not served. I ordered the Seryna salad, beef tongue sampler, kimchi assortment, kalbi, abalone porridge, cold noodles, and matcha ice cream. Everything was served at once, but the porridge had already cooled down. The flavors were gentle and enjoyable. However, the cold noodles seemed a bit bland.

I stopped by at Jyubanoyu in Ueno because I heard their lunch offers good value for money. I ordered a lunch set and a side of thick-cut tongue, and I was impressed by the generous amount of food served. The cost-performance ratio is definitely great. Also, Jyubanoyu has a semi-private atmosphere even before the pandemic, allowing diners to eat without worrying about their surroundings. It was a nice experience.

When I was feeling sluggish due to summer fatigue and had no appetite, I decided to eat at Seryna to boost my energy! The atmosphere of this restaurant is a bit dark and has a sophisticated adult vibe, which I think would be perfect for a date night while enjoying yakiniku. The meat was tender and delicious, and the almond jelly for dessert was just the right size to refresh my palate and lift my spirits. Personally, I love shrimp!

I honestly thought that the name "Jyuban" was the only good thing about it. Maybe it was because it was lunchtime? I felt that the quality of the meat was not good... I wonder if better meat is served if you go at night...? I had always thought of Jyuban as a high-end and delicious place, so it was a moment when that image was shattered (lol).

It's been a while since I went to Jojoen. It's still delicious, as expected. I always order the same dishes, but the taste and quality are always guaranteed. This is truly the mecca of yakiniku. On a different note, what catches my eye is the club sign on the 4th floor or higher of the building. I wonder what it's like inside. I'll definitely check it out once the pandemic is over.

While avoiding crowds, I went to a shrine for my first visit of the year. As always, the service at Jojoen is excellent. The meat is not meant to be devoured quickly, but savored one piece at a time. It seems to be a place where people of a certain age tend to visit. Speaking of which, I remember when I was younger, I went to the Jojoen in Roppongi and ended up with a huge bill after eating a mountain of meat (laughs).

I visited for lunch. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, with seating in individual booth-like areas, maintaining social distance. I chose Lunch C because I wanted to eat tongue. The meal included tongue, prime rib, and special loin. It came with salad, soup, kimchi, and namul, so it was a generous portion. The meat was delicious, especially the well-marbled loin. Dessert and coffee were included, and I left feeling full and satisfied!

Sushisouen ❤️ Ueno Hirokoji Store When asking for the location, was it in front of Don Quijote? It is located on the first floor of a new building with ♣️ on floors 5 to 8. The Tan-shio (tongue salt) is thickly sliced, and the taste and quality are always reliable. The menu is also rich, so you can confidently bring people along. However, the number of stores is increasing rapidly. Is this a sign of high ratings?
