Every time I come here, I always order the same set. It comes with a salad and the legendary platter. It's really meaty and delicious. The staff cooks the legendary platter so well, which I appreciate! This time, I also tried the yaki suki for the first time. It's a bit tricky to get the grilling just right, but it was delicious.

There are many yakiniku restaurants, but the most satisfying one for meat lovers is Koko Kara. The thinly sliced kalbi and loin are delicious, but the highlight is the large block of meat which is exquisite! The staff carefully cook it for you, which is much appreciated. And the red wine that pairs perfectly with the meat is fantastic. They also have a variety of sour cocktails, and if you plan to drink a lot, I recommend the "Mega" size! I will definitely visit again.

The thick cuts of tongue, skirt steak, and fillet are grilled and sliced by the staff. The quality of the meat itself is not particularly high, but the portion size for the price is great, and you get that feeling of indulging in meat! You can choose to eat the fillet with grated ponzu sauce or garlic chips in a steak sauce. I enjoyed both options with the half & half. The assorted hormone platter was delicious, and when I ordered the tegutan, they split it into two portions for me. The cost performance and hospitality were excellent.

"I want to eat meat!" Whenever I feel this way, I always go to Koko Kara. I usually order namul, salad, legendary platter, and jar pickled kalbi. The red wine they offer to pair with the meat is also excellent. This time, I tried the meat rice as a closing dish for the first time, and it was delicious as well. There were quite a few foreigners dining here too. It's best to make a reservation before visiting!

I had a late night meal at Yakiniku Koko Kara in Ueno Hirokoji. It was great that they are open until morning. When I called to make a reservation, the AI answered in a funny way. We mainly ate thick cuts of meat, but they also specialize in horumon (which my companion couldn't eat that day). The staff was very entertaining, and time flew by quickly. Sometimes having late night yakiniku is nice too. Thank you for the delicious meal~♪

This area is filled with yakiniku restaurants, and I've been to a nearby yakiniku restaurant before. It seems like the competition is fierce here. I've been to various restaurants in this area, and I feel like the quality of the meat is slightly better than other restaurants in the same chain. Today, I visited the yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Kokokara Ueno-ten" located between Okachimachi and Ueno, as it is popular among my friends. I was surprised to learn that they have expanded to 40 stores in just 4 years since the first store in Kinshicho, but the delicious taste definitely lived up to the hype. Everything was delicious, but my favorites this time were the "Namul," "Cheese Meat Rice," and "Senmai Sashi." I couldn't stop eating, despite feeling a bit guilty. Thank you, manager!

With so many options on the BBQ street, it can be hard to decide where to go, but this place is casual yet serves delicious meat, making it a comfortable and reliable BBQ restaurant. I made a reservation online for a revisit. The menu is extensive, and the original "legendary platter" is popular. The quality of the meat is outstanding. I especially recommend the original "namul" which I also ordered last time. The staff's customer service is also very good. I think it's a popular restaurant in the competitive yakiniku district around Ueno and Okachimachi.

I revisited this restaurant because the cold noodles were delicious last time. I ordered Tan Shio, coupon kalbi, salad, and horumon sashimi. The Tan Shio was surprisingly tasty. For the finale, I ordered the cold noodles again, this time asking for the noodles to be firm. The noodles were indeed firm this time, with a good chewy texture. The soup had a fish and salt-based broth, but the flavor was a bit weak compared to last time. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with the weaker flavor this time. I hope that next time, both the noodles and the soup will be more to my liking.

On the second day of dining with a travel companion, we went for yakiniku! When it comes to yakiniku in Ueno, one of the first places that comes to mind is here. This place is sure to please anyone you bring along. Since we had Japanese cuisine in Ogikubo the day before, we wanted something hearty and started with horumon (offal). I already knew that the mino (tripe) was delicious, but the maruchou (large intestine) and kashira (cheek) were also tasty. Especially the maruchou had a nice sweetness from the fat that was delicious. We ordered the tongue skewers. Carefully grilling them with garlic and green onions to avoid burning brought out the sweetness and umami. The liver was fresh too, which got everyone excited. We decided to try the pot-marinated harami (skirt steak) instead of the usual thick-cut harami. It was huge and delicious! It's such an energizing meat. Visited around 20:00. The restaurant was about 80% full. I tried various dishes like hormone and legendary platter, and ordered oxtail soup and cold noodles to finish. The noodles were made with Morioka's fresh noodles, slightly soft with a medium thickness. Surprisingly, the soup had a bonito base with a sweet and strong seafood flavor. It was delicious, although a bit too sweet. The toppings included seaweed, kimchi, and green onions. Overall, I was amazed by the seafood taste of the soup. The meat was also surprisingly tasty and not too expensive. The only downside was that the noodles were a bit soft and lacked chewiness. Adding ramen noodles to this soup would make it even more delicious. The oxtail soup was also tasty with a strong garlic flavor. This restaurant seems to be relatively good with reasonable prices.

Before 6:00 p.m. on a regular day. I called right before and visited with 3 people. There are a lot of yakiniku restaurants around here! LOL - Strong draft beer 1078 yen - Kimchi platter 748 yen - Absolute Namul 748 yen - Seaweed and 4 kinds of namul mixed together. Like a Namunchi. - Cobukuro skewers 748 yen - Negi-tan salt skewers - Garlic salt tongue suji 858 yen - Oppai 528 yen - Fluffy and delicious! - Red MIX platter Regular (300g) 3278 yen Assorted kalbi, loin, and harami. It feels like it's cut off, but it's a good deal. - Tegotjo Udon 1298 yen Thick and transparent noodles like cold noodles. The dipping sauce had plenty of sesame and was delicious. Despite being close to full, the meat came out quickly! The waitstaff all looked great and provided excellent service. Thank you for the meal.

I usually go to the Kinshicho store, but this time I went to the Ueno store. As always, the taste and cost performance were reliably good. One dish I always order is the Legendary Mix. I highly recommend trying this dish, which consists of chunks of tongue, harami, and fillet meat grilled perfectly by the staff. After grilling, you can choose from ponzu sauce, steak sauce, and other seasonings for the fillet meat.

I couldn't get a reservation at my usual yakiniku restaurant, so I came here and it was also crowded. The Legendary Mix (half size) was enough for two girls and had a satisfying amount of food. The staff cooks the meat for you, so you can enjoy even big cuts without worry. However, when I tried the fillet with steak sauce, the garlic was too strong and I had indigestion until the next day... The fillet is more like steak than yakiniku. There is a sense of satisfaction in devouring the meat! The cost performance is good, so I would like to treat my juniors or have a girls' night out here.

I was taken to a famous restaurant in Ueno by a friend for the third time. The photos are of Yukke (was it harami??) I ordered a type of yukke that I had never tried before! The sauce was strong, overpowering the taste of the meat. It was delicious when eaten with the egg yolk. Next was Senmai Sashimi, not in a vinegar miso base but more of a gochujang base. It was my first time trying this dipping sauce. Personally, I prefer vinegar miso, but for those who don't like sweet flavors, this might be better. The Negi Gohan (green onion rice) was also delicious and went well with the meat. I could easily eat two bowls of it. The tongue, gall bladder, and upper nankotsu were all seasoned with salt. Overall, the garlic flavor was strong, which I loved as a garlic enthusiast. Towards the end, I tried the hormone dishes with sauce, and the sauce was irresistible. The thick-cut roast was surprising and melted in my mouth. This might be my favorite dish from here! The vanilla ice cream (I forgot the name) was topped with a crispy layer, which was delightful for sweet-toothed individuals. We ate many other dishes besides those shown in the photos. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but the delicious food makes it worth it. The service at the restaurant was excellent. Smokers will be pleased to know that smoking is allowed at the table. I will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It seems to be a popular budget-friendly yakiniku chain with multiple locations. I ordered a beer, along with cuts of harami (skirt steak), loin, and liver, as well as side dishes like kimchi and grilled beef intestines. My friends were being noisy because they were hungry, so we decided to visit a yakiniku restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. The staff at this restaurant have amazing communication skills. Of course, the meat is delicious, but what stands out the most is the cozy atmosphere. Personally, I recommend trying the hormone dishes. The soup dishes might be a hit with the ladies. Thank you for the meal. Yakiniku is really delicious, isn't it? I will definitely visit again.
