Tonkatsu restaurant located in the basement of Tokyo Square Garden. The staff are very efficient and speedy, which is pleasant. I had the Hirekatsu set meal (1480 yen) and the meat was tender and light, with a crispy coating that was delicious. Rice, cabbage, etc. are free refills. When you consider the quality of the food you make yourself and the price, it's definitely great value for money. Despite being in the busy basement of an office building on a weekday, this place is not as crowded as the surrounding restaurants (probably because it's slightly more upscale), making it a hidden gem. I would love to come back when in Kyobashi!

I had the Garlic Miso Pork Bowl for dinner alone. It cost 950 yen. I visited this place to quickly finish my meal as I had another appointment after work. I thought it might be pre-made, but they actually cooked it from scratch. The sweet garlic miso sauce went well with the pork belly, and I ended up finishing the whole bowl without realizing it. I would love to stop by again if I have the chance!

In the basement of Kyobashi Square. There was a line in front of the entrance, but it turned out to be people waiting for bento boxes. We were led to a private room for four people, although it was unclear if all rooms were private. The lunch menu at the annex had only four options. Many people seemed to be ordering the chashu rice bowl. I ordered the pork cutlet set (120 grams). The meat was thick and juicy, and as I chewed, I could feel the juices. I enjoyed changing the taste with salt, lemon, and sauce, and finished the meal.

Basically, I think it's an izakaya, but it's also fine to just have a meal. It's very convenient and nice that you can have set meals all day. I had a pork cutlet set meal after FEELCYCLE. The cutlet is of normal size, not as thick as the higher class ones. You can get unlimited rice, miso soup, and cabbage, so you can eat without worrying even if you're hungry. The meat is a bit firm. It's satisfying to eat.

This is the basement floor of Tokyo Square Garden directly connected to Kyobashi Station. I went to Montbell to buy an ultra-light umbrella and planned to have lunch at the unvisited Suikoen Annex, but the last order had ended. Feeling disappointed, I walked down the escalator and saw a sign for my favorite tonkatsu, so I decided to enter the restaurant on a whim! As I looked at the menu, I saw a specialty dish called Rare Char Siu Don. I decided to ask for the recommendation here.
- Rare Char Siu Don 1180 yen
Miso soup, salad, pickles, salt, sauce included
The salad is mainly shredded cabbage. The dressing is served in a bottle. It is a type of punchy Japanese-style dressing with a sweet and rich flavor from the onions. Now, onto the main dish, the Char Siu Don. It is a soft and delicious pork cooked at a low temperature with a rare pink color. It is served with salt or a sweet and savory barbecue sauce. Both the dressing and the sauce have a quite common flavor. I think if the sauces were more refined, it would better match the price considering the delicious meat. The staff were all friendly, and I was allowed to use a private room alone, which made the atmosphere very pleasant.

The Hokkaido brand pork, Kamui pork loin cutlet set meal arrived. The first bite made me feel the imbalance between the breading and the meat, like a tonkatsu from an izakaya. However, as I continued eating, when the breading finally blended well with the meat, I was amazed by the deliciousness, especially when paired with lemon or rock salt. The combination of the pork loin's fat and the rock salt was wonderful. The power of the ingredients is truly significant. While there may be individual differences, whether it's the breadcrumbs or the frying skill, the freshly fried first bite, even without any condiments, could potentially reach the level of a specialized popular tonkatsu restaurant. Perhaps this is the differentiation point for successful establishments.

I visited the restaurant on a weekend night after finishing work overtime. My colleagues were already drinking, so I decided to join them for a light drink. We started with a draft beer for 680 yen, which was a Premium Malt. We also ordered some dishes like vinegar motsu for 380 yen, vegetable and meat skewers for 1830 yen, smashed cucumber with chili oil for 430 yen, a small portion of fillet cutlet set meal for 1180 yen, and tonpeiyaki for 780 yen. We tried a bit of everything that my colleagues had ordered. The vinegar motsu as a starter was delicious. The vegetable and meat skewers were unique and satisfying without feeling guilty. Surprisingly, my colleagues also ordered set meals for some reason. For drinks, we had beer and lemon sour for 450 yen, which were cheap and tasty. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. After finishing up, I headed home quickly. I used to do all-nighters when I was younger, but I can't handle it anymore.

The lunch at the main store on the same floor seems to differentiate itself by focusing on tonkatsu, unlike the spicy noodles and ton teki. Despite this, I ordered the rare chashu rice bowl, which is listed as a specialty on the menu. The tonkatsu main dish came with a generous amount of cabbage salad, topped with rock salt and red wine sauce. The rare chashu rice bowl, finished off with a rare touch, was so tender that it reminded me of roast beef.

I saw a TV program last night that made me crave tonkatsu, so I came to this restaurant. I had originally planned to order the pork cutlet set meal, but as I looked at the menu, I decided to try something I had never eaten before, so I ordered the "Homemade Rare Chashu Don." The dish arrived promptly. They told me to enjoy it with the red wine sauce. I thought about pouring the sauce over the bowl right away, but since there was also salt provided, I guessed that I should either dip the chashu in the red wine sauce on a small plate or eat it with salt. I tried the red wine sauce first. It was delicious, with the tender chashu and the gentle sweetness of the sauce! I couldn't help but eat it quickly, but after a while, the sauce started to feel a bit too sweet. At that point, I tried dipping the chashu in the salt, which brought out the flavor of the meat. The bowl was filled with bite-sized chashu, which was delightful. The rice underneath the chashu had absorbed some of the meat's fat, making it tasty. They offer unlimited salad refills, but I didn't get one because the dressing was so delicious. I had tried all the lunch menu items here, and each one was equally delicious. I had a wonderful lunch. Thank you.

I visited this restaurant again today because the tonkatsu was delicious, but I decided to try the tonkatsu set meal instead of the hirekatsu set meal. The tonkatsu set meal is 100 yen cheaper than the hirekatsu set meal, but it is still about twice the price of a certain famous beef bowl restaurant I visited yesterday (beef bowl with extra large rice, egg, miso soup). The restaurant was relatively empty, so the tonkatsu set meal came out quickly. The tonkatsu had a nice, clean, golden brown color, indicating it was fried just right. The tonkatsu itself felt a bit small, but it was just the right size for me. I started by trying the most fatty part on the right end, sprinkled with salt. I'm not a big fan of fatty meat, but when I bit into it, the fat melted in my mouth and it was sweet and delicious. Even though I don't like fat, I could enjoy this. I continued to eat the tonkatsu in order, and both the tonkatsu sauce and salt were delicious. If I had to ask for more, I wish the mustard was a bit spicier and there was more of it. Another great thing about this place is that the French dressing on the cabbage is delicious. And you can get free refills of cabbage, which could probably fill you up just by itself (although I think they might start to get annoyed if you ask for 3 or 4 refills). I was completely satisfied and full, so I left the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I usually have a light lunch at a convenience store eat-in, but on this day, I decided to wander around this dining area. I found a restaurant that seemed easy to get into, so I decided to go in. Luckily, I was able to sit at a small table near the front. I ordered the pork cutlet set meal. The energetic and polite waiter made the whole atmosphere of the restaurant feel good. Soon, the pork cutlet set meal arrived. You can get refills of miso soup and cabbage. You can enjoy dipping the pork cutlet in salt (rock salt) or pouring the sauce that is placed on the table, each providing a different taste experience. The pork cutlet was fried just right, with a slight pink hue towards the center, making it look beautiful. First, I tried it with salt, and the meat was tender and juicy, pairing well with the salt. The meat was also tender and juicy. It's a bit salty, so it's better not to put too much salt on it. Next, I tried it with the sauce, which was a sweet tonkatsu sauce that went well with the pork cutlet. It was very delicious when eaten with mustard. I like to eat it with plenty of mustard, so the standard amount that comes with it was a bit lacking. I'll ask for extra mustard next time. Of course, it was delicious even when eaten as it is, as the pork was well seasoned. The dressing for the cabbage was also delicious. I'm not a fan of sour dressings, but this one was not too sour and tasted good. At some tables, I noticed people asking for refills of cabbage. Normally, I have lunches that cost just a coin, but this time, despite the price being three times higher, I felt that occasionally having such a delicious lunch is a good way to change the mood, and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The cold pork shabu-shabu with sukiyaki flavor has a perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness, and the clear and mild soba noodles as a finishing touch are delicious at this restaurant. However, in these times, the atmosphere feels somewhat lacking due to the need for time efficiency. It can't be helped.

I stopped by on my way home from work. I had been curious about this shop for a while, and finally had the chance to visit. I was able to enjoy delicious yakitori and drinks at a reasonable price. I thought it would be a great place to stop by for a first or second drink.

I visited the third bar for solo drinking. It's an affordable place where you can order yakitori starting from one skewer. I tried the delicious skewers of tongue, heart, and belly with my favorite green soda. The salad I ordered was also fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very kind. I would love to visit again.

Seasoned with garlic and miso, the dish has a strong flavor from the spiciness of the garlic and the rich taste of miso. The portion size is generous like a large serving of rice, but the salad, which was requested as a regular size, is surprisingly ample, giving a sense of being somewhat forgiven. With this content, receiving change at the cashier in Noguchi is a truly impressive value for money.

I really enjoyed the delicious meal. The staff were clean and provided pleasant service, overall I was satisfied. The safety measures in place, such as the partitions between tables, allowed me to dine with peace of mind.
