I had made a reservation for the Seibu Shinjuku Station location, and when I gave my name, they guided me downstairs. The first floor where the entrance is has about three tables, the counter is on the mezzanine level, and there are table seats downstairs. While waiting for my friend, I ordered a beer, which was available for all-you-can-drink for 1650 yen. So, I thought it would be better to go for the all-you-can-drink option. My friend arrived by the time the beer arrived. We looked at the menu and ordered some food. The ordering system was by scanning a barcode. We ordered fish skewers, potato salad, shrimp, and more. After finishing the beer, I ordered wine, but they didn't have wine for the all-you-can-drink option. I mentioned that I wanted wine when I chose the all-you-can-drink option, and the staff kindly canceled the all-you-can-drink option for me and allowed me to order wine separately. I ordered a bottle of wine, which was delicious and strong. There was a group of about eight people next to us who were having a great time, and it was so lively that I couldn't hear my friend sitting across from me. It was a fun and enjoyable time.

On a regular night around 9:30 pm, three of us visited the restaurant. There were only two other groups of customers, and the staff seemed to be minimal. The underground seating area had poor cell reception, so Wi-Fi is a must. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos of the essential fish skewers. I highly recommend ordering the octopus skewer. It's small and cute, very soothing to look at!

However, the food may look slightly less impressive in person than in the photos on the menu. Nevertheless, it was well-prepared and delicious, just like you would expect from a chain restaurant. If I ever feel like having seafood skewers again, I might go back. That's the feeling I got.

A place that is easy to visit with male friends. We arrived early but decided to go in first. The staff seemed busy and didn't guide us, so we had to ask for help. Looking around, there were mostly couples and groups of female friends, no male friends in sight. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful, with upbeat Western music playing. We tried a new genre of food, grilled fish skewers, and it was delicious.

I went after a long time. It has become a mobile order, and ordering seems to be easier. The staff can focus on cooking and serving, so they seemed cheerful. I went without a reservation this time, but usually I think you need a reservation to get in, so be careful.

When entering, there were stairs going up and stairs going down. There were many young people downstairs. The appetizers were served in bottles and looked stylish. It was a bit sticky, which was disappointing. The taste was delicious.

Fish skewers Sakura Saku @ Shinjuku entrance didn't have "Sakura Saku" written on it, so it was a bit confusing if this was the right place. It happened to be half-price day for skewers, so it was fully booked. The seating time was strictly limited to 2 hours. The skewers and skewer tempura were delicious. The seared salmon rice was also tasty. But the most delicious dish was the sweet potato fries with maple syrup. It was so delicious that I almost finished it all by myself. The cost performance was good, and I would like to visit again. However, I was lucky this time because if it wasn't half-price day next time, it might be a bit expensive. Thank you for the meal.

This is a seafood skewers izakaya. The menu includes fish skewers, skewered cutlets, and vegetable skewers. The fish skewers are all delicious and have a creative Japanese cuisine feel. The angel shrimp fry was exquisite. However, there are fewer options for dishes other than fish skewers, so after getting a bit tired of the fish skewers, there wasn't much else to eat towards the end which was a bit disappointing. It would be great if the menu were more diverse.

I randomly stopped by "Sakurasaku Fish Skewers" and was lured in by the delicious-looking grilled or fried fish skewers and the retro-style sign. The grilled skewers in the photo are tuna cheek with green onion, tomato basil sea bass, and squid with sauce, all of which were very delicious!! My favorite was the tuna cheek with green onion. They also offer assorted skewers, so when in doubt, ordering the assortment is a good idea. Although I mainly ordered grilled skewers this time, the fried skewers were also very tasty. The kombu with baby fish is amazing!! My colleague was impressed by the salmon roe rice bowl (ikura aburi meshi) they ordered. They serve nuts and pickles as appetizers in cute small jars, which I found to be a stylish and interesting touch. The cost performance is good, so I will definitely come back here again!! Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for a 2-hour all-you-can-drink course with 10 items including 5 popular fish skewers for a reunion party. The appetizers were served in stylish bottles. Since most of the dishes were skewers, it was easy to share and we were able to focus on conversations. The squid was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is the first time I've ever had such a luxurious and extravagant shaved ice! First of all, it looks super cute (๑>◡<๑) I ordered the Peach Shaved Ice with Earl Grey-scented Custard Pie! It had chunks of peach in it ♡ The combination of Earl Grey and peach was a perfect match and delicious~\( ˆoˆ )/ It came with pomegranate sauce, so I could enjoy a change in flavor too!

I was looking for a restaurant that serves skewers at the request of my friend. I found out that a skewer restaurant I visited in Kagurazaka had opened in Shinjuku, so I chose to go there. The grilled skewers and fried skewers were both delicious! Unlike izakayas that serve skewers, this place had unique menu items that made it hard to decide what to order! Some of the menu items that left a strong impression were: Shrimp Ajillo, Sweet Potato Fries (Maple), and Sweet Potato Ice Cream. The Shrimp Ajillo had grated garlic and dipping the bread in it was the best! It came with 4 pieces of bread, but I recommend adding extra bread (6 pieces) from the start! The Sweet Potato Fries (Maple) were perfectly balanced in sweetness, not too sweet, with a hint of saltiness that made it easy to eat without feeling heavy. When we asked about the dessert of the day, it was ice cream with sweet potato, vanilla, and black sesame flavors. We chose sweet potato and it was so delicious that we joked it might have been the best thing we ate today! Lastly, they served clam soup which was a nice touch after the cold ice cream. The staff was friendly, and I definitely want to go back!

Found it! A variety of fish skewers restaurant! Perfect for those days when you don't feel like eating meat. You can enjoy various fish and shellfish not only grilled but also in other ways. The bottled appetizers you can choose from are stylish. The restaurant's atmosphere is cool. There are many women here, sorry for disturbing you, Oishii-chan. Everything is delicious! I will definitely come back!

The highball appetizer comes with a choice of about 6 options, such as quail eggs. The dishes like eggplant miso, mushroom and shrimp tempura, grilled octopus with sauce, grilled squid, and mackerel simmered in sweet soy sauce were all delicious. The service of signing up for LINE was great, and the anglerfish service and miso soup with clams were also good. It's a great restaurant that I would like to visit again.

There is a popular fish skewer restaurant with multiple locations in Tokyo. The highly recommended dish is the skewered herring roe! It is absolutely delicious with the thick herring roe bursting in your mouth. The bite-sized grilled fish skewers are also a delightful choice. There are so many tasty options that you'll want to visit multiple times to try them all. They also offer a variety of drinks from beer to sake, so it's a great place for those who enjoy alcohol.

Yes, on this day, my older sister and I went drinking in Shinjuku. The second stop was at this restaurant known for its fish skewers. It was my first visit around 8 pm on a holiday, and the place was packed! Thanks to my reservation, we were able to secure seats at the end of the counter. The friendly staff recommended the choice of appetizer for 300 yen, which included olive pickles and quail pickles. They were delicious and presented in unique jars. I was completely okay with grabbing them!
The dishes we ordered that day were:
- Kiwi and lemongrass sour 500 yen
- Mango and dried mango sour 500 yen
- Eel butter (charred rice) 298 yen
- Grilled sardine with plum and shiso 188 yen
- Scallop butter 198 yen
- Caesar salad with bonito flakes and kale 680 yen
- Miso-marinated cream cheese 148 yen
- Pine and thyme sour 500 yen
- Salmon cream cheese (on bread) 248 yen
- Octopus and potato salad with olives (on bread) 248 yen
- Eringi mushroom 148 yen
- Kombu with roe 298 yen
As the restaurant specialized in fish skewers, my meat-loving sister ordered modestly. Even so, there were plenty of shining menu choices. The various sours we picked from the original drink menu were unique and delicious. The eel butter was so good that I ended up giving it all to my sister. The charred rice with butter was a perfect bite-size and delicious. The grilled sardine with plum and shiso and miso-marinated cream cheese were highly recommended. They were reasonably priced and tasty. The items on bread were clearly chosen for their visual appeal. The comb-shaped kombu with roe was a fun and tasty dish. The texture and appearance were enjoyable, making it a delightful dish. Another highlight of this restaurant was the friendly service from the staff. They were approachable and provided detailed explanations. The majority of customers were women, and the menu catered well to female tastes. With just two drinks and a few small dishes, the total bill was under 3,000 yen, making it a great value for money. The friendly service and unique fish skewers make this a place I would definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a restaurant that I had been curious about where you can eat grilled fish on skewers. When I entered at 6:30, the restaurant was still empty, but by around 7:00 it was full. I didn't feel any effects of the coronavirus at all, haha. The appetizer was a small bottle of your choice of snack, which was quite stylish. All of the grilled skewers were delicious, but the No.1 with kelp and onions had a great flavor. The highball was strong, almost too strong, and the service spirit of the staff was lovely. It was a great restaurant experience.

Shinjuku "Uokushi Sakura Saku"
Located just a 1-minute walk from Seibu Shinjuku Station, "Uokushi Sakura Saku" is a fish skewer restaurant with a very casual atmosphere that I personally found very comfortable.
First of all, the great thing is the choice of appetizers! There are about 5 types of appetizers, and they explain each one, so you can choose one that catches your eye for each person.
After that, we ordered various fish skewers. We ordered "Salmon Tartare," "Sea Bass with Tomato and Basil," and "Salmon Saikyo Yaki."
Personally, I found the Salmon Tartare to be delicious! It goes really well with alcohol!
We also tried various other dishes like "Amberjack Carpaccio" and "Seared Mackerel with Sour Onion."
Finally, we had "Uni Yakisoba," which was rich and just right for the finish. It's quite chewy, so the texture is perfect!
They also have a wide variety of drinks, so be sure to check them out!

After a live show, my partner and I were looking for a light meal on our way home, and we stumbled upon a perfect restaurant. We found a place that served fish skewers, which we had never seen before. Intrigued by the realistic fish skewer samples outside, we decided to give it a try. The appetizers were enjoyable, each skewer was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. It was a great choice made on a whim. Since then, I have been recommending this place to friends, colleagues, and anyone looking for a good spot to eat. Surprisingly, the restaurant's rating on Tabelog was not as high as I expected. As of July 2020, it's rated 3.04 stars.

While heading to Shinjuku station with the intention of enjoying a comedy live show, grabbing a light meal, and having a drink, I came across an interesting sign. It led me to a specialty fish skewer restaurant, and it turned out to be a great decision. They offered a variety of appetizers to choose from, as well as stylish grilled skewers and deep-fried skewers. They even had a unique seared skewer sushi dish. I particularly enjoyed the salmon tartare skewer and the angel shrimp deep-fried skewer. I also tried the sea urchin skewer, which was delicious.
