Delicious. I never expected to find authentic hot pot in Tokyo, Japan. The ingredients like tripe and duck intestines are fresh, although not as impressive as those in Chongqing. The shrimp balls are also very tasty, the best hot pot I've had in Tokyo. While some Japanese may think of hot pot as just a spicy dish, it's actually about enjoying high-quality meats and vegetables. I appreciate the effort the restaurant puts into sourcing their ingredients. Although it may not be as affordable as in China, it's no wonder that many Chinese people come here seeking authentic flavors. As someone living in China, I highly recommend this place.

A friend strongly recommended this hot pot restaurant to me, so I made a reservation right away. When I saw the photo of the black sugar mochi, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. The mochi was just like the ones I had in Chongqing and Chengdu, both fried. I ordered a mildly spicy hot pot, but it was still quite spicy. However, when eaten with the oil dishes, it had a delicious addictive taste. The owner's sauce was only in the oil dish, and the sesame sauce was a nice touch. The other ingredients were also excellent. I will definitely continue to visit this restaurant in the future!

The restaurant is small, so can only accommodate three or four tables? Personally, I think the service is good. The bottom of the pot is very spicy, so even if we order something slightly spicy, it ends up becoming very spicy again. (This is a good thing!) The speed of serving the dishes needs to be improved. I have never had Sichuan hot pot in Japan, but the portion at this restaurant is a bit small. And sometimes there are not so fresh ingredients. Please try harder.

When I read the reviews, there were quite a few negative comments (which I found out later), but I personally had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. While there were some mistakes in taking orders, it wasn't a big issue and they tried their best to accommodate us. The hot pot was tasty and there were many options available, served quickly. The menu was a bit confusing, but they were happy to explain. Overall, I enjoyed the overseas dining experience. There was a dish called "taro cake" made from sweet potato starch that was surprisingly delicious. There are plenty of other tempting dishes on the menu as well!

At Jiuku Hot Pot in Ueno Hirokoji, the Chongqing-style Jiugong Hot Pot has entered the fierce Chinese cuisine battle era in the Ueno Okachimachi area. This hard-to-book Chongqing hot pot restaurant opened at the end of last year. I tried calling several times last year but couldn't get through, so I gave up. However, when I called today after the new year, they said they could accommodate us from 9 pm, so I decided to visit. The restaurant has a small space with only 7 table seats, and a neon sign with "Chongqing" written in simplified Chinese characters on the wall. The neon sign seems to be a trend for newly opened hardcore Chinese restaurants. The menu is in Chinese only, using a check sheet for ordering. Clearly, the target customers are Chinese residents in Tokyo. The highlight today was the Jiugong Hot Pot, which divides the pot into nine sections. The gas stove's heat is a bit weak for the size of the pot, so it takes some time to boil. While waiting, we enjoyed side dishes like pig's feet and quail eggs with Qingdao beer. The Jiugong Hot Pot comes with an extremely spicy soup, leaving no escape route. It intensifies over time, turning the suffering spiciness into a form of asceticism. If you're not confident in handling spiciness, I recommend opting for a mild or two-color hot pot. We persevered through the heat, eating the ingredients, and finally cooled down our numbed mouths with mango sherbet for dessert. According to the staff, you can make reservations through the Table Check website. So why not challenge yourself to the even more hardcore Chongqing hot pot, beyond the current trend of hardcore Chinese cuisine?

Recommended by my Chinese friend and it was amazing! The best I've had recently. I chose the mushroom and spicy soup, which was deep and flavorful, with fresh ingredients. The tripe and shrimp dumplings were excellent.

When I entered the store, there were few customers and it was quiet. I chose the medium-spicy option in a nine-grid format. You can choose between sesame sauce and sesame oil sauce, and mix them yourself. (Personally, I like the sesame sauce)
