The day before, my junior colleague and I discussed going to an all-you-can-eat restaurant with good cost performance, like we did in our student days, and decided to go. Around 9 pm on Saturday, Kabukicho was crowded, but this place was relatively empty, with only a few groups of foreign tourists. The all-you-can-eat menu included dozens of varieties of deep-fried skewers, 8 types of sauces, salad, rice, dessert, etc. The quality wasn't high, but there was a wide variety. Since the skewers were bite-sized, we were able to try many different kinds. We didn't opt for the all-you-can-drink option, so we ordered drinks separately. The beer wasn't very cold, and the service was a bit slow, which was a little annoying. Nevertheless, I thought it was nice to eat while having a lively time once in a while. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the restaurant at 6:45 pm on Sunday. The service was provided by a foreigner of Indian descent. I enjoyed making my own tempura skewers, but I felt that determining the doneness of the food required some experience. As the oil temperature rose, my eyes started to sting, causing my dining companion to take a break and go to the restroom. I felt that this restaurant was not suitable for leisurely ending the weekend. We left earlier than the time limit, so we couldn't take advantage of the all-you-can-drink option. The drinks were generally lukewarm, so only the alcohol felt cold, which didn't really stimulate my appetite.

Godzilla is located on the first floor of a building with a distinctive mark. It costs 1,870 yen for 90 minutes, and the optional drink bar is 330 yen. There are 30 types of skewers, yakisoba, yakisoba, curry rice, ochazuke, cake, jelly, vanilla ice cream, various salads, soft serve ice cream, drinks, and plenty of food to enjoy. The quality of each food item is not high, but there are so many options that you can have fun trying them all. I think having fun is more important than the food being delicious. It's a place where you can enjoy with friends or even by yourself. Most of all, it's fun to fry your own food. My goal is to eat until I'm 5 full, but even then, my plates and skewers piled up quite a bit. I wonder if I ate all of that? One thing that caught my attention was that the foreign staff in the kitchen were chatting in a different language the whole time. Well, aside from that, it was a very satisfying restaurant experience.

Whenever I go, I always have a great time! The food is delicious and enjoyable, so I end up going back multiple times. This place always seems to run out of plates, but if you wait, they will eventually bring some out. The staff are mostly foreigners, so sometimes communication can be a bit difficult, but the man at the register is quick and efficient. They prefer you to use specific plates, even though I only use one type for the same sauce. They should consider having more spots for the popular shrimp dish. The fried shrimp is also delicious, so be sure to try it out!

"Kushiya Monogatari Shinjuku Toho Building Store" @Seibu Shinjuku ☆☆☆
Reservation available, table seating, credit cards accepted, non-smoking (smoking area nearby), children allowed
Price per person: 3,450 yen
Feeling: Not great, rainy weather
This familiar all-you-can-eat deep-fried skewer restaurant allows you to choose your own ingredients, coat them in batter, fry them, and enjoy. It seemed like so much fun that I couldn't resist going back after a long time. The all-you-can-eat option costs 3,500 yen per person. Regardless of whether it's expensive or cheap, I couldn't help but feel like nothing tasted good. The place was empty, so the alcohol was served quickly, and making your own deep-fried skewers was enjoyable. I learned something new once again.

It was on September 15, 2022 (Thursday) at 3:00 PM when I visited the "Kushiya Monogatari Shinjuku Toho Building" in Shinjuku before heading to a concert at Tokyo Dome. The restaurant offers a self-service buffet style where you can choose and fry your own skewers. I started with a salad from the salad bar and then moved on to frying various skewers with breadcrumbs and flour. The skewers were bite-sized and easy to fry. It was a fun and delicious experience, and I also enjoyed some dessert afterwards. Overall, it was a satisfying meal before heading to the concert at Tokyo Dome to see SEKAI NO OWARI's DOME TOUR 2022 "DuGaraDiDu".

I went to Kushiya Monogatari for the first time. It seems to be a chain with locations all over the country, but there are only a few in Tokyo, like in Shinjuku or Ikebukuro. It was a lot of fun because they offer all-you-can-eat kushikatsu where you can fry them yourself. They also had yakisoba, yakisudon, curry rice, ochazuke, and desserts, so it was enjoyable to try a variety of foods. It's a fun experience, so I will definitely come back.

During my high school days, I was really into this restaurant where you could have all-you-can-drink alcohol. I was so happy to discover that Kushiya Monogatari offered a drink option called "Midori Jin Soda". And the best part was that the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink combo was only 4000 yen, which was quite cost-effective. The squid tends to splatter a lot, so it's a good idea to use the lid that's provided on the table. The shrimp, chicken thighs, chive dumplings, shiitake mushrooms, and lotus root were all delicious, and I kept going back for more. It's convenient that you can stick to the same items if you want. The plum, cheese, and grated daikon sauces were tasty, but the salt was also good. Be careful when dipping the food in batter as it can get messy, but the fact that you don't have to clean up is great, and the piping hot food is the best part. The staff at the restaurant are still mostly foreign women, but they are polite and seem capable.

I visited this place after seeing it on some kind of information program. The skewers were all bite-sized, which was great because you could try a variety of them. However, I think they should put a little more thought into the containers for the breadcrumbs and batter. It seems like a good place for families with small children or for girls' night out. Personally, I give the soft serve ice cream a thumbs up.

I went to an all-you-can-eat and drink restaurant on a weekday with a friend. Kushiya Monogatari has many locations, but as far as I could see on Tabelog, this is the only one where you can have all-you-can-drink during lunch on weekdays. They have a wide variety of skewers - beef, chicken, gizzards, tsukune, shrimp, squid, vegetables, etc. There should be around 60 types. It was a 90-minute all-you-can-eat and drink deal, but the time was not enough haha. On weekends, it's only 60 minutes, which would definitely not be enough. We ended up only eating skewers and barely touched the side dishes (curry, pasta, mixed rice, etc.) and desserts. We rarely fry food at home, so it was fun to sit and fry our own skewers.

After watching a movie, I enjoyed all-you-can-eat kushikatsu. Shrimp is definitely the best! There are various sauces so you won't get bored. Chicken takes a while to cook, so it's best to put it in early. With all-you-can-drink option, you can fry as much as you want for the whole time.

Before going to the Tokyo Mystery Circus in Kabukicho, four families (consisting of four moms, elementary school children from grades 1 to 4, and one toddler) visited the restaurant. The restaurant was spacious enough for the four families to sit in adjacent seats. They visited because it was a strawberry fair day. They were attracted by the variety of fruits and sweets, especially the strawberry fountain, which the children wanted to try (laughs). The restaurant offered a salad bar, corn soup, curry, and grilled champon noodles. The skewers included beef, chicken, seafood like squid and shrimp, mushrooms like eringi and shiitake, sweet potatoes, potatoes, red wieners, and hashed potatoes that the children liked. There was even shishamo, which was quite unusual. Everyone enjoyed picking and eating their favorite foods, and some of the children even tried skewering for the first time. They had a great time eating a variety of skewers, fruits, cakes, and even soft serve ice cream for dessert (laughs). It was a very enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal! ☆

Kushiage all-you-can-eat restaurant Kushiya Monogatari allows you to take as much as you want of the items you like in a buffet style. There are various types of skewers and plenty of sauces to choose from. They also offer salads, yakisoba, rice, and more, making it a great option for those who want to eat a lot. They have a wide range of drinks for all-you-can-drink as well. Why not invite your friends and enjoy a meal together?

In high school, I have a vivid memory of going on a date to a place that offered all-you-can-eat deep-fried skewers. It was a unique and enjoyable experience to be able to leisurely fry and eat hot skewers at the table. Some skewers like onion, takoyaki, and cheese sticks were so hot that they made me cry, but surprisingly, I found the imitation crab sticks to be quite delicious. I recommend trying all the varieties because there are some unexpected discoveries. I love shrimp, so I mostly focused on eating shrimp skewers, but you can come with anyone and enjoy the all-you-can-eat rice dishes, salads, and desserts as well. I didn't get full in 90 minutes, so next time, I plan to fry a little more at once. All the staff were foreigners, but they were very polite.

I usually have no interest in it, but sometimes I feel like going to a buffet. Is there such a place? I came to the nearest restaurant in Shinjuku. It was before 3 pm, with 4-5 groups. Less than half of the restaurant is full. Lately, I have become quite used to dining alone, and I actually enjoy buffets where I can focus, so dining alone might be good. The staff are foreigners. When asked if it was my first time, I mentioned that I had been to a different branch a long time ago, but they did not explain anything about the restaurant or the rules. It seems that drinks are charged separately, so can I eat everything except for drinks? That was my vague understanding. The skewers at Kushimono Monogatari are quite small in size, so it feels a bit unsatisfying to eat them in small bites. They are so small that it doesn't feel like you're getting your money's worth. At that time, I thought it was nothing special, but after 1 or 2 years, I feel like going back (laughs). They had a Strawberry Fair going on. There were strawberry cakes, strawberry-flavored chocolate fountain, and strawberry compote. Surprisingly, the Ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it) from Nagatanien was delicious, so I had it twice. I used to eat it a lot as a child, but I haven't eaten it at all since becoming an adult.

Visited with 2 people at noon on a weekday. At Kushimono Monogatari, they offer a drink all-you-can for 1000 yen, and the highball is made with Suntory whiskey! We were informed about this offer and decided to visit. Since it was lunchtime on a weekday, we opted for the all-you-can-eat skewers for 1640 yen and the alcohol all-you-can for 1000 yen. The staff kept refilling our glasses promptly, which was very helpful. The skewers included a variety of seafood, meat, vegetables, and unique items. Personally, I found the following particularly delicious:
- Chicken breast: light and not too heavy.
- Onion and eggplant: classic choices for vegetable skewers.
- Fried bread: simple fried bread drizzled with maple syrup was tasty!
In addition to skewers, they also offered salads, pasta, yakisoba, curry, rice, and desserts like cakes and fondue with various options, so we didn't get bored of the food at all. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience, but if I had to point out some downsides, the smell of the onion slices was a bit strong, and the chocolate fondue was too runny, lacking in flavor. I would like to visit again for the drink all-you-can experience.

Well well! They had a buffet-style where you serve yourself from the table at the beginning it was fun for the first five minutes, but I got tired of it. If you like, please follow me on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram! (ID) → @hayashi_panda

Around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, before the 6:30 p.m. movie started, I decided to grab a bite to eat. I stumbled upon a restaurant that caught my attention as it seemed oddly empty. It was a place where you could skewer ingredients, dip them in batter and breadcrumbs, and fry them yourself. It was an all-you-can-eat style restaurant. With the recent concerns about COVID-19, buffet-style restaurants have been criticized. But since it was empty, I decided to give it a try. The price for adults was 2600 yen including tax for a 90-minute all-you-can-eat session. Additionally, I got a free soft drink with my movie ticket stub. I paid with a credit card. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to go to Kushiya Monogatari, so I looked for it in Shinjuku. It's on the first floor of the Godzilla building! They have a wide variety of items! They have ice cream and lots of desserts! The deep-fried bread with maple syrup was surprisingly delicious ♡ It goes well with ice cream! The beef is small but good quality! The curry is like a children's curry! The chocolate from the fountain is thin!! Kushiya Monogatari has a lot of items and seems like a new restaurant, but the ones in places like Lalaport might be cleaner?
