- Order Summary - Pork Cutlet (150g) - ¥2,000 (including tax) Rating: Excellent - Wagyu Hamburger Steak - ¥2,800 (including tax) Rating: Excellent - Comments: I visited the restaurant around 12:00 pm on a Sunday for lunch. There were no other customers at the time, but I was informed that they were fully booked with reservations. I was seated at a table and ordered the items mentioned in the order summary. - Pork Cutlet (150g) - Rating: Excellent - The pork cutlet was thick and made with tenderloin meat. It was tightly packed and firm, but tender and crumbled easily when chewed. The breading was thin, crispy, and enhanced the rich flavor of the meat. They provided salt and sauce, but the sauce complemented the intense flavor of the meat very well. - Salad: The salad included paprika, watercress, cucumber, onion, tomato, lettuce, pickled cabbage, and potato salad. The dressing was a sesame-flavored soy-based dressing that balanced the acidity and brought out the umami flavor. - Rice: The rice was soft and had a noticeable sweetness, indicating high-quality rice. - Miso Soup: The miso soup was packed with large cuts of burdock, radish, konjac, and pork. The pork was tender and infused with flavor throughout the soup. The ginger aroma added a nice touch. - Wagyu Hamburger Steak - Rating: Excellent - The hamburger steak was made with coarsely ground meat, giving it a hearty texture and intense flavor. The surface was crispy, while the inside was cooked thoroughly and juicy. The delicious sauce filled the plate, and I enjoyed it while dipping the steak in the sauce.

I visited a Western-style restaurant near Kyoto City Hall for lunch. We shared a tonkatsu made with Yoro pork and a pork loin cutlet. First, the tonkatsu had a refreshing sauce with a hint of lemon, which was delicious. I think it would be easy for women to eat. Next, the pork loin cutlet had a delicious taste with a sweet flavor of fat. Thank you for the meal.

About a month ago, I made a reservation easily. Currently, due to the extended period of the coronavirus pandemic, the restaurant is operating with shortened hours. They are open for lunch from 12-3 pm and for dinner from 6-9 pm. On the first day of the Bon Festival, when the roads were congested and I informed them that I would be late, they kindly accepted it. There was no strict deadline for arrival. When I arrived, there was a sign saying "Today's fully booked." It seems to be a popular restaurant. Despite being a Western-style restaurant, the lunch menu consisted mainly of tonkatsu. This time, I went with my family of six. Here is a brief overview of the experience: Lunch comes with rice, miso soup, and pickles. Extra rice is an additional charge. - Pork cutlet (150g) for 1,800 yen - Pork fillet (200g) for 2,500 yen - Wagyu hamburger steak (180g) for 2,800 yen - Pork shoulder steak (200g) for 2,300 yen - Shrimp and crab cream croquette for 1,500 yen Honestly, the pork cutlet (tonkatsu) is recommended over the fillet. If you don't like fatty meat, go for the fillet, but personally, I preferred the cutlet. Eating a large portion might feel a bit heavy. The hamburger steak was very meaty, juicy, and satisfying. It was a bit firm but very delicious. We also ordered the shrimp and crab cream croquette from the a la carte menu. It was a croquette filled with a whole shrimp and creamy sauce, which was rich and tasty. Despite being late and having kids with us, the other staff members were very polite and flexible in accommodating us. They have large tables that can seat up to seven people. Overall, I think it was a good experience.

It's a Western-style restaurant, but is pork cutlet the main dish? I wanted to eat pork cutlet, so I got carried away and ordered a 200g fillet, but in terms of pork cutlet, the loin is actually tastier. The fillet was elegant and tender, and seemed good for the body, but it lacked the richness and flavor of a pork cutlet, leaving a somewhat lonely feeling. If you're going to eat pork cutlet here, go for the loin. I made a mistake. Next time, I want to try Western dishes like hamburger steak or cream croquette.

I called on the same day and went for lunch on a weekday. When I arrived, there was only one group inside. I had the tonkatsu with salt. It was crispy and had a good portion size. It was delicious, so I would like to try going at night as well.

This time, I went out for lunch and made a reservation. When I arrived, there was a sign saying "Reservation Full!" at the entrance. It seems like reservations are a must. Today, I ordered a 180-gram hamburger. It was made with beef, so it wasn't greasy and I could enjoy the flavor of the meat. For dessert, I ordered pudding. The pudding was delicious! It had a nostalgic and simple taste, but it was rich and firm, which suited my taste. I will definitely go back again, maybe for dinner next time. I'm curious to try the Gorgonzola cutlet on the evening menu.

It had been a long time since my son came back home, so I decided to treat him to lunch at this place. Although the prices were not cheap, the food was definitely worth it. I had the pork cutlet (fillet) and my son had the pork steak, both of which were delicious! Despite having a busy schedule that day, the staff served our dishes promptly, allowing us time to enjoy a dessert. I ordered the custard pudding as an extra treat. We were completely satisfied with everything. I had called the restaurant just before arriving, and they had reserved a private room for us. Their thoughtfulness really made me happy.

I ordered the 150g tonkatsu lunch at a Western-style restaurant known for its tonkatsu, which cost 1800 yen. You can choose the gram amount, which also affects the price. It was incredibly delicious! I was told to sprinkle salt on the side with more fat. It was so tasty! Plus, with just one piece of meat, you can experience various textures and flavors, making it a great deal. I also want to try the hamburger, but it's a bit over 2000 yen, so I need some courage... However, I'm sure it will be absolutely delicious! The pork soup also had plenty of ingredients!

This time, we visited in a large group so we were able to try many different dishes. The appetizers were three seasonal dishes. We always order the coleslaw, it's become a staple. The croquettes and jumbo hamburg steak were delicious. And of course, the pork cutlet was huge in size. We finished with curry. Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will definitely come back.

Visited around 13:00 for lunch. A famous tonkatsu (pork cutlet) restaurant. The stylish interior had a relaxed atmosphere with regular customers. The tonkatsu was the softest I've ever had! You can choose to have it with salt or sauce. It was my first time having tonkatsu with salt, but I think I'm hooked. The pudding after the meal was small and firm, a classic style. The whipped cream had a rum flavor, which paired perfectly with the pudding.

I had some business to take care of in Kansai over the weekend, so I stayed in Kyoto on this day. I finished my work at the hotel and started thinking about where to have lunch. The Western-style restaurant Ogata near the hotel is probably busy, so I remembered a conversation I had with my father last year about a restaurant he often visits when in Kyoto. It turned out that I had recently visited the same place on a training trip. It seems like the love for food exploration runs in the family! So, I decided to try out the petit restaurant Naito near Kyoto City Hall for lunch. Upon entering, the hostess seated me at a table and I looked at the menu. They had options like hamburger steak, minced cutlet, pork loin tonkatsu, and ginger pork. The tonkatsu was recommended as the most popular dish, so I ordered the 200g pork loin tonkatsu. It arrived in about 15 minutes, served with a generous salad, rice, and miso soup. The tonkatsu had a crispy and crunchy coating, with a deliciously fatty flavor. I enjoyed half of it with salt and mustard, and the other half with sauce. It was a truly authentic and delicious Western-style tonkatsu. I would love to visit again and try the hamburger steak or ginger pork next time. Before that, I should ask my father what he had eaten there. Thank you for the meal!

I had planned to visit the restaurant Oogata for Western cuisine during my business trip to Kyoto, but unfortunately they were fully booked and I couldn't get a reservation. However, a friend recommended another restaurant in Kyoto with many great Western food options. I decided to visit there and it didn't disappoint. The menu was filled with appealing dishes and the staff were attentive and accommodating. Each dish was carefully prepared with no compromise in quality. Even something as simple as the coleslaw was perfectly seasoned. It's the attention to detail like this that really sets this place apart. I look forward to returning for another delicious tonkatsu lunch when I visit Kyoto again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

If you don't go for a while, you might experience withdrawal symptoms. The appetizers always make me feel the season. This time it was conger eel! Can't miss the combination of coleslaw and roasted pork cutlet. It's good to go with four or more people and order various dishes. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

I arrived for lunch. I called at 12:30 on the day and was told there was availability. It might be a hidden gem. I ordered the shrimp and crab cream croquette, pork shabu-shabu sesame dressing salad, hamburger, and wagyu beef cutlet sandwich. The staff was worried and mentioned multiple times, "Wow, you really eat a lot," but we are truly big eaters. The shrimp and crab cream croquette had a whole shrimp inside a creamy crab croquette. The crab croquette was creamy and the shrimp added a nice flavor. The pork shabu-shabu sesame dressing salad had plenty of pork and felt more like dipping pork shabu-shabu in vegetable sesame dressing, very filling. The hamburger (200g) was packed with meat. The sauce was very tasty. The wagyu beef cutlet sandwich had a very tender wagyu fillet and was really delicious. I ordered the hamburger lunch set, which came with rice and miso soup. Despite boasting so much, I was embarrassed to admit that I became full and had to take a piece of the wagyu beef cutlet sandwich home. I chilled it and had it for dinner, and it was delicious. They also offer takeout. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Kyoto is a city with delicious Western cuisine. There are many places with hearty Western food, and this restaurant is one of them. I made a reservation for one person, but ended up at a table seat. - Beef Hayashi Rice: Thick slices of beef and crunchy onions in a delicious demi-glace sauce. It was so tasty that I regretted not ordering a full size. - Crab and Shrimp Cream Croquette: Two sauces, tartar and demi-glace, accompany this croquette filled with crab and shrimp. The combination of flavors was beyond my expectations. - Bacon, Nanohana, and Fu Soup with Kin Kan and Kazunoko Potato Salad: This dish taught me a lot about ingredient combinations. And they have Heartland beer! I was happy about that. I could have gone alone, but sharing the deliciousness with someone else would be better, so I'm thinking of going with a friend next time. Thank you for the meal.

I've been hooked on the coleslaw here recently. But I don't have any photos! Sorry! They also have a great takeout menu! The chicken salad is so different from convenience store ones! But I don't have any photos! Is the pork cutlet the best here after all? The curry to finish had a crab flavor!

Today, I was in the mood for Western food, so I visited a small restaurant called Naito that I had been wanting to try. The marinated beef appetizer was delicious. The coleslaw made with homemade ham was also tasty with plenty of ham. The tonkatsu (pork cutlet) had a crispy coating with fine breadcrumbs and was delicious. The hayashi rice, made with demi-glace sauce and a hint of tomato, had a luxurious feel with the meat cooked to a rare finish.

I wanted to have rice for lunch, so I was looking for tonkatsu or hamburger, and I found a nice Western-style restaurant near my hotel. The salad was not just cabbage, but a variety of vegetables that were colorful and delicious with a tasty dressing. The tonkatsu used Yoro pork, which was tender, sweet, and had no unpleasant smell. The sauce was also delicious and seemed original. The menchi-katsu was like a hamburger made into a cutlet, and it was very filling! Despite being fried, it was not greasy, easy to eat, and did not make my stomach feel heavy. I would definitely want to go there for lunch when staying in Kyoto!
