This is a wonderful yakiniku restaurant with a spacious seating area and a kind owner. Not only is the meat delicious, but the sundubu and appetizers are also high quality and have great value for money! They have a wide variety of drinks, making it a perfect place for casual dining.

I visited the restaurant with the determination to eat a lot of yakiniku. I ordered heart sashimi and collagen sashimi. The meat was fresh and juicy, perfect for enjoying with drinks. We ordered a variety of cuts such as premium tongue, skirt steak, liver, loin, sirloin, kalbi, brisket, tripe, hormone, and small intestines. The quality was so good that the meat was fatty and incredibly delicious. Everything was so tender and tasty that it practically melted in our mouths. After eating too much meat, we wanted something refreshing, so we shared a cold noodle dish. It was smooth and delicious. We also ordered the sundubu jjigae that we were curious about. Even though we were already full, it was so delicious that we couldn't help but finish it. By the end of the meal, we felt like our stomachs were going to burst, but we were completely satisfied because we achieved our goal of eating to our heart's content. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On the way back from Asakusa, I heard about a delicious yakiniku restaurant in Yushima, where I don't usually visit, so I made a reservation and went there. The interior of the restaurant had a bright and clean atmosphere with counter and table seating. It was my first visit, so I was a bit nervous when placing my order. - Napa cabbage kimchi - Upper tongue salt - Extreme harami - Sagari - Grilled upper liver - Wagyu tripe - Senmai sashimi - Stone-grilled bibimbap I really liked the tenderness of the sagari and the sweet sauce. It was my favorite dish of the day. I might prefer the sauce over salt here. The napa cabbage kimchi had a light pickling, making it refreshing and easy to eat. It was perfect to have in between the grilled meats. I arrived at 5 p.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant quickly filled up. Despite being a new establishment, reservations are definitely necessary. Another noteworthy point is that the restaurant doesn't have a strong smell compared to other yakiniku places. It's great for a date night. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Budget: 6000-8000 yen Order: A la carte Duration: 1.5-2 hours Reservation: By phone A new yakiniku restaurant opened by a famous horumon (offal) specialist known for their crispy lever. The interior is mainly counter seating with only 2-3 tables. The menu is quite extensive, so it's enjoyable to find your favorite items and create your own course. I found the crispy lever from Horumon Tokum to be excellent, as well as the harami (skirt steak) and sagari (diaphragm) which were incredibly fresh. Personally, I really liked the sauce-based seasonings, which paired well with rice. However, the salt-based seasonings were quite simple, making the meat quality more prominent, which may lower satisfaction compared to the sauced options. There is room for improvement in the cuts, but considering the cost performance, I think it's good overall. The seats were relatively available, making it a good option for a spontaneous yakiniku craving in the Ueno area. It's a borderline decision whether to go all the way to Ueno specifically for this place. I might hold off on revisiting for now. [Order Details] - Senmai (tripe) sashimi: I wished it was cut a bit thinner and more carefully, as it was too large and ended up leaving quite a bit uneaten. The sauce could have had a stronger vinegar miso flavor. - Uwatan (thinly sliced tongue): I deliberately tried the thin slices, but thick slices might be a bit challenging to chew. The thin slices were just right. - Lever: Fresh and delicious, no complaints! - Harami (thick cut): The harami was a bit disappointing, slightly too tough. Considering the meat quality, a less simple seasoning might be better. - Sagari: Ordering with sauce was a great choice. Grilling it a few times to soak up the sauce and then eating it with rice was a winning combination. - Tsurami (beef cheek): Another one that could use a bit more effort. - Sirloin with less fat: Easy to eat! - Stone bibimbap: I wish I could adjust the amount of gochujang sauce myself. - Pickled vegetables and kimchi: Oigawa wins.

I visited a friend's theater performance after-party a few days after it ended. We enjoyed dishes like "extreme tongue," "thick-cut grilled liver," "fatty heart with salt," and the classic "pickled cabbage kimchi" with a crunchy texture that was so delicious. I wish this restaurant was closer to my house so I could go every week. The finale of cold noodles was also very satisfying. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely visit again.

Yakiniku at Yushima! There are many yakiniku restaurants, but I chose this one because the raw meat looked delicious here! Nishino Kana's music was playing the whole time and it gave me chills, haha. As for the meat, raw meat was indeed delicious just as I imagined! The seasoning on the white omasum sashimi was amazing♡ It's my favorite! The harami and yukhoe were also amazing! A great yakiniku restaurant for drinking! The tomomi triangle was also great! They had a low-carb beer PSB which was nice for reducing guilt! They also had unique drinks like corner highball and charcoal highball, which seemed good for the body! The raw sashimi appetizer was so good that I ended up drinking too much. It was fun!! I love this place, I will definitely visit again! - White omasum sashimi 800 yen - Hatsu yukhoe 880 yen - Wagyu tongue assortment 2180 yen (includes tongue kalbi, tongue tip, thick-cut tongue, luxurious assortment) - Wagyu tomomi triangle 2380 yen - Top mino salt

We visited with two friends at 6:00 pm. The restaurant had high ratings on Tabelog, but it was disappointing. The drink glasses were smaller than usual and filled with too much ice, so there was hardly any liquid. The food tasted like artificial seasoning, making us very thirsty afterwards. The miso flavor was too sweet, and the salty flavor had too much salt, so we couldn't enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients. The prices were reasonable for Ueno, but the Hormone Assortment (1800 yen) we ordered only had a few pieces of heart, diaphragm, and tripe. When we asked the staff about it, they said if we wanted intestines, we should have ordered them separately. We were speechless at the price we paid for just some heart. The restaurant was clean, so I gave it one point for that. If you love hormone dishes, this is not the place to go. I won't be coming back.

I finally had the chance to visit the newly opened yakiniku restaurant "Horumon Takayama Yushima Main Store" that opened on July 29, 2022. The owner, Takayama, used to work at a previous restaurant I frequented, and this time he has finally opened his own place. I drove all the way to Yushima, but then realized I couldn't drink alcohol, and I regretted not taking a taxi! The restaurant was still very clean and the "Goku Tan," "Thick-cut Liver," "Fatty Heart Salt," and the classic "Pickled Cabbage Kimchi" with a crispy texture were all so delicious. If this restaurant was closer to my home, I would definitely visit every week, but the distance makes me a little sad. The "Tegutan Kuppa" was a satisfying end to a great dinner. Thank you for the delicious meal... I will definitely visit again!

The Yushima branch of Horumon Takayama, a yakiniku restaurant located about 20 seconds from exit A4 of Yushima Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, opened on July 29, 2022. The owner previously worked at another restaurant before deciding to open their own place. Congratulations! I went there to celebrate and tried their beef tongue assortment, starting with the upper skirt steak, a limited fillet steak, fatty heart, and upper tripe with salt, as well as various types of horumon with sauce. The salt seasoning was excellent and very delicious! It goes really well with wasabi. The horumon sauce is surprisingly large in size, and the more you chew, the sweetness comes out, making it a perfect match with the sauce! They are open until 2 am, so you can even have yakiniku as a late-night meal.

The BGM in the store is only Nishino Kana from opening to closing! Every menu item is delicious, but the recommended ones are tongue, liver yakitori, and lightly pickled kimchi! The seasoning of the tongue is excellent, and the liver yakitori is super tasty with zero odor. Although Nishino Kana is currently on hiatus, at Hormone Takayama, they are still going strong, so if you love yakiniku or are part of the Nishino family, be sure to check it out!

Delicious. Various cuts of meat such as tongue, skirt steak, and several types of offal, as well as soup, and about 3 cups of alcohol per person for around 5,000 yen per person. We mostly ordered high-quality meat, so it was tender and the sauce was also good. The staff also changed the grill grate appropriately and were attentive. They are open until 1-2 am, making it easy to visit.
