Finally, the famous "Ore no Series" restaurant has arrived in Hirai! Just kidding. Previously, there was a Chinese fast food restaurant called "Sha County Xiaochi" with the world's largest number of stores. The interior has been beautifully renovated. There were three staff members, all of whom appeared to be Chinese. Most of the customers also seemed to be Chinese. The menu mainly consists of grilled and deep-fried skewers. There are 23 types of grilled skewers including chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, and seafood. The prices range from 150 to 250 yen excluding tax. There are 11 types of deep-fried skewers priced at 150 and 180 yen. I ordered a set of 5 grilled skewers for 580 yen plus tax. Normally, 5 skewers would cost 750 yen, so this was a good deal. The set included "thigh, green onion, skin, tail, and heart." The kitchen staff mentioned that they personally skewered all the items and did not use frozen ingredients. The skewers were slightly larger than usual and all tasted delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. I also ordered a set of 5 deep-fried skewers for 580 yen plus tax. It included "salmon, squid, pickled ginger, quail, and chicken breast." The sizes were regular, and the batter was crispy. The thickness of the batter varied depending on the item, but it was not a big issue. The special sauce was also delicious. The only downside was that the Hoppy drink at 180 yen plus tax had a slightly small portion. Apart from that, everything was perfect. I will try the 250 yen skewers next time. I wonder if I can really get a shrimp skewer for 250 yen?
