The store opened at 10:00 in the morning, and I arrived at 11:00 to find it already crowded. Saizeriya is always crowded, so if you time it right, you can manage to get a seat. The restaurant is quite spacious, so if you go for a late lunch around 2 o'clock, you might have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Other times, it's pretty much always busy. I've tried going for lunch at 12, tea time at 3, dinner at 6, but I couldn't get in every time (I gave up, to be honest). If you go at those times, it might be a good idea to keep in mind that you could be waiting for about 30 minutes. This time, I had the chicken steak with warm salad with green beans, extra cheese, and free refills for drinks, all for 1000 yen. It's quite affordable. This time, I was killing time for 90 minutes in between watching two movies, and I was grateful that I could eat quickly. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in about 10 years after it was featured on a TV show about family restaurants. In conclusion, it's cheap and delicious! I didn't pay much attention to it during my student days, but now as an adult who has experienced various restaurants, I was amazed by the cost performance and taste. I ordered several foods that could be appetizers, then a Margherita pizza as a main dish, a Diablo-style chicken steak, and a decanter of wine. It only cost around 2,000 yen. I was surprised when I saw the bill. This restaurant is very family-friendly. I can feel the effort put in by the company.

I felt hungry and suddenly craved tomato pasta, so I barely made it in time for the last order at this restaurant. I really think this place is amazing, the cost performance is incredible. It's been a while since I last visited, but it even seemed to taste better. When I entered, the place was almost full, and I noticed many young groups playing games even after finishing their meals. The Milan-style doria with lots of cheese on top, that wasn't available in the past, I actually prefer this one. And the wine prices are seriously great, like decanter for a bargain! I had already been drinking wine, so I didn't order a bottle, but it was like 250mm for 250 yen, something like that. Saizeriya is the best, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal! ✨️

After enjoying shi-shi in Ueno, I visited Saizeriya to try something I had always wanted to do - order dessert and a Magnum and take the Magnum home. It doesn't make much sense, but it's fun! There were some items out of stock, so I ordered a Red Wine Magnum for 1,100 yen, Tiramisu Classico for 300 yen, and Arosticchini for 400 yen. What a crazy combination, right? First, I tried the Arosticchini, which had a delicious oregano-based spice. The person who came up with this must have won an award. Of course, it paired perfectly with the Magnum (lol). Now, let's try the Tiramisu Classico. It was just the right level of sweetness! The ultimate indulgence for 300 yen. Pairing it with the Magnum was the best! However, what's great about Saizeriya is that the dishes are brought to the store almost ready to serve, minimizing the cooking process for the staff. Even so, the food is delicious and affordable, with little room for error. I've never peeked into the kitchen, but chain restaurants will soon face a severe shortage of staff. Simplifying operations is essential, or else people will leave. In recent years, the success or failure of chain restaurants seems to be becoming clear. Due to the outbreak of African swine fever in Italy, salami and prosciutto have disappeared from the menu, and Arosticchini is selling too well, causing instability. Developing new meat menu items is a pressing issue for the headquarters, and I support them. With that said, thank you. Bon appétit.

With 4 people dining at Saizeriya, the bill exceeded 10,000 yen, which may be the first time I've paid over 3,000 yen per person at Saizeriya. The main reason for the high bill was the bottle wines: Brulì Sette Notti for 1,650 yen, Salice Salentino for 2,200 yen, and Orì di Verdicchio for 2,600 yen, plus two large white decanters (500ml each) totaling almost 4 bottles of wine. If we had ordered magnums instead, we could have saved money at 2,200 yen each, but tonight was a celebration, so let's go all out! So the total came to 13,500 yen!

I wonder how many years it has been since I last went to Saizeriya in Japan. I had the set menu with a 100% beef spicy tomato hamburger, small rice, and a drink bar for 700 yen! The soup and salad were simple but perfect, and the 100% beef hamburger and tomato sauce were fantastic. It wasn't very spicy but still very delicious. For dessert, I ordered the gelato & cinnamon petit focaccia which I love to have with coffee. As soon as it was brought to me, the scent of cinnamon tickled my nose. The menu said, "Feel free to sandwich it in the petit focaccia." It was a bit difficult to cut the petit focaccia with a knife, but I managed to sandwich the cold milk-flavored gelato between the warm petit focaccia, sprinkled with cinnamon powder, and took a bite. The combination of warm and cold textures, along with the scent of cinnamon and the sweetness of sugar, was incredibly delightful. And all this for only 450 yen... Saizeriya is amazing! I hope they make this a regular menu item!

The crowd is increasing, evacuating from Ameyoko to Yushima; I can't be careless, I won't enter random shops; Crossing the street, there's Sushizanmai & Saizeriya & Suzumoto Engeijo. The other day, I had a fun time eating various things at a family restaurant. Saizeriya doesn't feel familiar to me lately... Back in the Shinagawa days, I think I frequented the "Saizeriya Konan Middle School Store" across from M. a few times... about 10, 15 years ago. Since then, I haven't been there. Somehow, it feels like it's burned into my memory... I remember the Saizeriya president saying on TV, "There's nothing delicious here." That stuck in my mind as "There's nothing... shop." But the TV show "30 Delicious Food and Beverage Chain Stores Loved by Foreigners Living in Japan" ranked Saizeriya as number one. I was surprised. I didn't feel like reevaluating it, but it's not a shop to avoid so much... it's in a position where it's not that bad. Let's go to Saizeriya after a long time - there are various things to enjoy - first, the base, "Eggplant Meat Sauce Spaghetti" and "Onion Sauce Hamburger." For those who eat little, there's a good selection of affordable desserts, making them happy. I also felt excited about the variety of options available - pizzas starting from 400 yen, appetizers from 300 yen - so many choices, making it a fun moment. Soon, the "Eggplant Meat Sauce Spaghetti" and "Onion Sauce Hamburger" appeared. Free drinks while eating, various drinks available, it's like a dream come true. I wasn't particularly impressed by the "Eggplant Meat Sauce Spaghetti," but it's totally okay - it's not bad at all. The texture and flavor are good for 500 yen... isn't that amazing? It's perfect for those who don't cook in the kitchen at home - it's more cost-effective than buying ingredients and cooking at home. Pasta is my favorite with noodles, but I had given up on eating out pasta because of its taste, but this is totally okay. With free drinks for an additional 100 yen, it's amazing, Mr. President! As for the "Onion Sauce Hamburger," I didn't have high expectations. I don't know if it's really meat, but there was a meat-like feeling... acceptable. Salad, soup (without ingredients), and rice are included... for 500 yen, considering the current exchange rate, it's amazing. Grateful for the affordability - so many desserts were being considered by the little eater. - Eggplant Meat Sauce Soft fried eggplant with plenty of meat sauce, and plenty of sauce - no need to worry about running out of sauce at the end, the pasta is slightly thick but has a chewy texture and is delicious when mixed with the sauce and eggplant. - Hamburger The sunny-side-up egg looks delicious, surrounded by corn and potatoes, making it a satisfying and fluffy hamburger that seems to be popular with everyone. I suddenly thought of going to Saizeriya for lunch and when I looked at the menu, I was torn between pasta, hamburg steak, and chicken. I started with a beer and ordered some fried small shrimp as an appetizer. For the main dish, I went with the chicken cheese bake. It was neither good nor bad, just average. I guess I didn't do enough research. What a shame!

During the current pandemic, the number of customers during cherry blossom season was reduced. The last order is now at 8:30 PM. The menu included chicken Caesar salad, spicy chicken, Margherita pizza, and pesto Genovese. Any unfinished food can be packed in containers for takeaway, which was helpful as I wasn't feeling well and couldn't finish my meal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After playing, I went to Saizeriya because I was pleasantly surprised by it when I went there recently after a long time. I told my boss about it, and it turns out it had been a few years since he last went there too. When we arrived, a Japanese staff member first approached us for seating, but then pretended to be unsure and asked us to wait for a moment. Then, a foreign staff member came and showed us to our seats. When I asked if there were any larger seats available since we were planning to eat a lot and the seats seemed cramped, the foreign staff member explained in broken Japanese that there were no available larger seats. It seemed like the initial Japanese staff member might have thought we were troublesome customers! Anyway, we ordered various dishes, including a warm salad with tender green peas, celery pickles, and sautéed cabbage with anchovies. My boss was selecting dishes that he had never tried before, which I found interesting. Perhaps I am also seen in the same way! Even though I may look overweight, I tend to order mostly vegetables. One of the great things about Saizeriya is that you can use condiments freely, such as olive oil, grated cheese, and salt. When it came to wine, I initially thought about ordering a magnum bottle, but then wondered why not go for a cheaper and good wine instead? In the end, I had three bottles of wine. We continued to order various dishes and ended up spending just under 5000 yen per person. It was more expensive than my previous visit where I spent only 1500 yen per person. The seats were cramped, but we still had a good time.

I was looking for a lunch place with a drink bar and came across Saizeriya along the main street. I had a sudden craving for their squid ink pasta, so I decided to go in. I asked the staff if I could have a seat by the corner, and they kindly said, "Sure, feel free to choose any seat you like!" It made me really happy. What's more, before I even placed my order, they noticed a window seat had opened up and asked if I would like to move there. How thoughtful of them, especially considering how busy they were. The restaurant was crowded, so I had to wait about 10 minutes after ordering for my pasta to arrive. But thanks to their consideration in offering me a seat change, I was able to relax and enjoy the drink bar while waiting. It had been about two years since my last visit, but the squid ink pasta was still delicious as ever.

There is a Saizeriya restaurant at any station, so it's great to be able to easily visit when you're unsure where to eat. I visited on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy. I ordered my usual menu and it was delicious as always. I also tried the new strawberry sauce panna cotta for dessert, and it was also delicious. My children enjoyed their meals as well. Saizeriya never disappoints with its consistent delicious food. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Dining Out Edition - Surprisingly High Calorie Tarako Spaghetti with Meat Sauce Bolognese Style @ Saizeriya/Ueno Hirokoji This is a story from a little while ago, but for lunch on 9/8 (Sunday), I went to this restaurant. It's the Saizeriya Ueno Hirokoji branch. The day before, at a different restaurant, I was turned away due to a barrier that said "No middle-aged bald men with young women around 30." So, I decided to take revenge and head to this place. First, I looked at the menu. I was in the mood for meat sauce, but I've been feeling like I've been consuming too many calories lately, so maybe I should go with tarako spaghetti for a change. However, when I checked the calories, I was surprised to find that tarako spaghetti is actually quite high in calories. (It might be more accurate to say that meat sauce is surprisingly low in calories.) The tarako spaghetti has 550kcal. In comparison, the Meat Sauce Bolognese Style has 552kcal. There's only a 2kcal difference. So, I decided to order the Meat Sauce Bolognese Style (399 yen). Once I placed my order, they quickly prepared the 3-point set. While red pepper flakes were available at each table, I had to get the Tabasco and powdered cheese myself. After a while, the Meat Sauce Bolognese Style arrived. The sauce was evenly mixed, with a sprinkle of powdered cheese. I added plenty of Tabasco and red pepper flakes, and I was ready to dig in. Of course, at Saizeriya, you have to have Tabasco and red pepper flakes. Let's eat! Yum, delicious! Saizeriya's pasta has great value! I added more powdered cheese. The rich aroma and flavor of the cheese. After finishing the noodles, there was some meat sauce left on the plate. You must never leave any meat sauce behind. I quickly poured the meat sauce down my throat, finishing it all in one go. Phew, that was good! With this taste and portion size at this price, the cost performance is definitely satisfactory. I have been dropping by this place quite a while. There may be some busy times, but the long tables allow me to focus on my work without being too conscious of my surroundings, which I really appreciate!

The other day, I had dinner at Saizeriya, but it's been a while since I came for lunch. Even though I ordered something more expensive than the lunch menu, I wasn't quite satisfied that I didn't get soup unless I ordered from the lunch menu. However, since it's before payday, I honestly chose the "Spicy Tomato Hamburger" from the lunch menu. It came with coleslaw salad, and it was truly a great deal for lunch.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant with Italian songs is nice. The mini salad, soup, and spaghetti lunch set for 500 yen is a good deal. The spaghetti is a bit soft, but at this price, no one would complain! The draft beer is 399 yen. "One more please!" Two beers and lunch cost 1298 yen in total. Thank you very much. m(_ _)m
