One afternoon, I visited a recommended cafe called Zero Cafe nearby for lunch. At first, I wasn't sure where the entrance was as there were advertisements nearby. The entrance was like a live house, with stairs leading underground. Inside, the atmosphere was like a club house, a stylish cafe! It was around 1 o'clock so there weren't many customers. The staff were lovely and cute. I hesitated at first but ended up ordering their omurice. The omurice was fluffy and had a unique Asian flavor, with delicious shrimp. It was my first time trying this taste! The rice inside was also healthy black rice, I think? Anyway, it was so delicious that I finished it quickly. I was with a small baby but it was nice to have a quick lunch. I would love to visit this place again when I'm in Aoyama!

There is a cafe located underground near Aoyama Gakuin University. The unique spices are addictive. I used it to eat lunch because I had previously performed at an event held at Zero. I tried the 15 herb rice salad in the photo, and I was amazed by the mint mixed in with the rice. I never thought mint could be so delicious! The rice seems to be good for the body, made with black glutinous rice. Even just this is delicious! There is also chicken in it, providing more satisfaction than expected. Wi-Fi and power outlets are available. The interior is not very spacious, but it is relaxing and you can browse magazines like FUDGE and GO OUT. The cafe also hosts private events and offers catering services. I enjoy looking at their wonderful meals and desserts on Instagram. I would like to continue using this place in various ways in the future.

I used it for a meeting on a weekday. I was looking for a place near Shibuya with WiFi and power outlets where I could have a relaxed meeting, and this place came up so I made a reservation. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. There is a small sign, and when you enter, you will see a glass door and stairs leading downstairs. It may be a little intimidating, but have courage and go in! The first thing you'll notice is a large DJ booth and big speakers. I looked around nervously, and a soothing lady guided me to a spacious table, which was perfect for two people with WiFi and power outlets available. They even provided an extension cord, which was much appreciated. Another deciding factor for making a reservation was the omurice. I had to try it because it was described as having a spicy tomato sauce. And it was absolutely delicious! The fluffy egg, chewy mixed grain Thai rice, and rich tomato cream were exquisite! The drink and soup that came with it were also fantastic. The soup, with its spicy and tangy flavor, paired perfectly with the omurice. After having lunch, I spent about 1-2 hours for my meeting, and it was a peaceful environment with many people working on their laptops or having meetings. They only operate on weekdays, but I will definitely go back to try other menu items that caught my eye.

Just near Aoyama Gakuin University, you descend underground via a glass entrance and staircase. The first thing you see is the DJ booth! It seems to operate as a club at night. The tables are made of warm wood, creating a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the recommended Hainan Chicken Rice lunch, which comes with consomme soup and a drink for 790 yen. It's cheap! Plus, they have wifi and power outlets, making it very convenient. They also offer catering and private party services, so I'd like to try it out for different occasions!

Located in a basement just off Aoyama Street, this shop is a great find for those who have lunch late in the day. The dimly lit underground interior always has silent movies playing on screens, creating a stylish atmosphere with its industrial-style tables and pipe chairs. The menu features cafe-style lunch options like Hainan chicken rice, curry, gapao rice, and omurice. My favorite is the green dry curry, which has bamboo shoots and chicken with a balance of sweetness from coconut milk and a strong kick of spiciness. I've also tried the non-spicy coconut soup curry elsewhere, but here the curry and rice are served in the same dish, which can lead to the rice absorbing all the soup and becoming tasteless. The shop tends to attract creative professionals and stylish individuals working nearby, but the downside is that the layout makes it hard to get the attention of the staff. Lunch prices range from ¥790 to ¥890 with a drink included, and you can customize your meal by adding toppings like fried egg, onsen egg, or cilantro for an extra ¥100.

Continuing from yesterday, I had lunch on Aoyama Street again. I noticed a menu signboard placed on the sidewalk near the restaurant I visited yesterday, and it caught my attention. The reviews seemed decent, so I decided to give it a try today! I opened the glass door, went down the stairs, and entered the underground first floor of the restaurant. It wasn't very spacious, but there were large speakers, exposed ceilings, and a pretty impressive DJ booth. The tables were placed in an interesting layout, creating a stylish atmosphere. It seems like this place turns into a club at night. I was seated at a table for couples facing the wall and looked at the menu. There were four standard lunch options and two others. I ordered the Green Dry Curry (890 yen including tax) with an additional fried egg (100 yen including tax). The set came with a drink, so I chose iced coffee. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The curry was a dry green curry with minced meat, takenoko (bamboo shoots), and potatoes. It was quite different from what I expected from a dry curry. The curry wasn't as spicy as I thought, and the rice, which seemed to be a blend of Thai or Indica rice with red or black rice, had a nice chewy texture. When eaten together, they complemented each other well. The recommended topping of a fried egg also paired nicely. The seating arrangement was relatively spacious, and although the restaurant was almost full, it didn't feel cramped. The pleasant music added to the nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed the comfortable ambiance here. It seems like it would be interesting at night too. Thank you for the meal.

It's a cafe with a club-like setup, with lots of flyers and a reception desk at the entrance. The shop also has assembly-style tables in the hall, so they can be put away during events or private parties. The menu mainly features Asian dishes, and I tried the peanut rice which had a fragrant Kapao flavor. The rice was like red Thai rice with a hint of sweetness, and it was delicious. The Hainan chicken rice that my companion had was also tasty. Additionally, the omurice had a sweet Asian curry-like sauce on top, which I personally really enjoyed!

On Aoyama Street, there was a curry restaurant that had caught my eye for a while. The sign said "Zero Cafe" with the distinctive "Ø" from BOØWY. I was a bit hesitant to go in, wondering if it was okay, but for the love of curry, I couldn't hesitate. So, I entered the restaurant. Wow, the underground interior was like a different world. If I keep hanging out in places like this, I might become a fashionable person. There was even a DJ booth! The lunch menu included Green Dry Curry, Coconut Soup Curry Sri Lankan Style, Special Fluffy Omelette Rice, and Hainan Chicken Rice. Such an enticing lineup! I was going to order the Sri Lankan style soup curry at first, but they said it wasn't very spicy, so I changed my mind. It turns out this place is affiliated with a nearby Thai restaurant called "Gapao Shokudo". I ended up ordering the Green Dry Curry. It was a generous portion of minced chicken with bamboo shoots and potatoes, dry-finished green curry. The rice was a blend of red rice and Indica rice. The stylish touch of thread chili on top was nice! If you want to make curry stylish, use thread chili or pink pepper! Well, it looks like a chicken and egg rice bowl in the photo (laughs). The spiciness was moderate, and the curry was easy to eat. Lunchtime comes with a drink. I can imagine various ways to use this place, like quietly working, reading, etc. I'll remember this place! But... looking at this wall makes me want to eat Idiyappam. Am I weird for that? Check out the "Curry Cell" Facebook page too.

Recently, Také-chan, who has been very busy, seems to be reviving his spore activities. If you see him, please give him a yellow cheer! Today's lunch was at Zero Cafe. Located a bit off 246, in the basement of a building, it may not stand out much, but with a small number of seats, it's a good place to eat calmly. When you open the door with "ZERO" written on it and go down the stairs, you'll find more stairs to descend. Inside the store, there is a large screen and a DJ booth, giving it a versatile feel for various events. It seems like you can also work on your PC there. The lunch menu consists of Asian dishes and omurice. This time, I had the Hainan Chicken Rice for 790 yen with a drink included. The rice, which includes Thai rice and what seems to be black rice, gives the dish a reddish-black, brown, purple hue. The menu says it's mixed with homemade scallion salt sauce, and although the chicken flavor is not very prominent, it's different from the typical chicken rice and delicious in its own way. The aroma of Thai rice is delightful, isn't it? It makes you feel happy. Thai rice, a basmati variety, apparently contains 2AP (2-acetyl-1-pyrroline), a component of temptation pheromones. That's probably why it's so alluring... The chicken is topped with plenty of nuts and cilantro. Dip it in the sweet and savory sauce based on egg yolk. It was a different Hainan Chicken Rice from the one I had at Gaiton Tokyo recently. It seems that chicken rice has evolved uniquely here in Shibuya. I want to be tempted in various places...

●June 20, 2013 (Friday)●【Information】A cafe in Shibuya.【Situation】I visited alone around 12 o'clock.【Environment】I went because some of the lunch items were 500 yen with a drink for the 1st-anniversary special. Although this cafe has a big screen and could be used as an event space, it gives off a studio rental vibe rather than a cozy cafe atmosphere. However, it is quite calm and not too crowded, making it a hidden gem.【Food】・Hainan Chicken Rice 500 yen ◎I thought it was Thai-style Kaomangai, but the rice had a black color I had never seen before, so it must be an original twist. The taste is different from authentic Thai cuisine, but it is delicious!! This cafe only serves Asian food for lunch, and I previously tried the Green Curry, which was also incredibly delicious and of high quality, not your typical cafe food. The portion size is decent, and it comes with a drink. Overall, it's a great value.【Overall】It's a convenient cafe where you can usually have lunch for around 800 yen.【Rating】★★★★★★★ 7/10=====Revisit=====●June 24, 2014 (Tuesday)●I revisited for the 1st-anniversary special where the lunch changes weekly and is priced at 500 yen. This week was Green Dry Curry week, and it was incredibly delicious!! Dipping the dry rice into the Green Curry, the spicy and flavorful taste was outstanding. Although the portion seemed smaller than the Chicken Rice I had before, the quality was top-notch. As other customers mentioned, the curry sauce tends to run out first. Despite that, it was a satisfying and delicious meal!! I have revised my rating upwards.=====Revisit=====●July 2, 2014 (Wednesday)●・Omelette Rice 500 yen ○I ordered the discounted Omelette Rice for that week as part of the 1st-anniversary menu. It had a hint of spiciness, similar to being soaked in Thai curry. The rice was the usual black Chicken Rice(?). This dish was equally delicious as the other menu items.●July 4, 2014 (Friday)●I revisited without hesitation. This time, I ordered the Omelette Rice with powdered cheese topping and extra servings. The powdered cheese was indeed delicious!! However, whether the additional 100 yen was worth it is debatable. The dish is already quite tasty as it is. The extra servings were slightly more, but again, the extra 100 yen didn't make a significant difference (lol). Still, with a drink included, it's only 700 yen. Wallet-friendly!!

2nd visit - Woman moaning March 25, 2014, Tuesday, sunny, high of 21°C I visited before the curry fair ends at the end of this month while it's still sunny. Today, I had the minced meat and bamboo shoot green dry curry with iced coffee for 500 yen. I was expecting curry fried rice since it said dry curry, but it was unexpectedly delicious. The green curry flavor is rich but not spicy. I thought about buying something to take home, but I was too full to do so. There was a flyer for "Billboard Live Style Tears Charge" at the entrance. I immediately searched it up! The CD is titled "TEARS in R&B - You can surely find happiness as many times as you cry in the songs." The jacket illustration was done by the popular manga artist, Bambi Kitazawa, known for "Onnamichi" in Big Comic Superior. The concept of the CD matched the manga, so a special drawing was commissioned. I definitely want this. By the way, the song playing in the store was "Roll The Credits" by Paula DeAnda. On the screen, there was footage of a Red Bull breakdance competition. 1st visit - First experience with a beautiful model March 18, 2014, Tuesday, sunny, 11:30-12:30 While waiting at the traffic lights on Meiji Street, I suddenly heard a whisper in my ear. "X Kyusu Sanichi." Surprised, I turned around to see a tall, blonde, beautiful foreign model wearing black sunglasses. It was definitely a model. She seemed to want to go to Gaienmae. I wanted to take her there, but it's a difficult place even for Japanese. She pointed to Meiji Street and said, "Gou, Desu, Uei." I replied, "Go that way!" It was a rare experience to say "Go that way" to a beautiful model, or any woman. I regretted not walking with her to Route 246. While thinking about it, I arrived at ZERO Cafe after going down the stairs to the basement. There was a closed iron door. It took some courage to open it. Inside, there was a DJ booth, mirror ball, spotlight, and a screen. It had a stylish atmosphere. I cautiously checked if there was a one-coin lunch. There were two curry options - Coconut Soup Curry (Sri Lankan curry) and Green Dry Curry (Thai curry). This time, I chose Sri Lanka. The black rice with nuts and raisins was delicious. The slightly sweet and sour coffee was great with a good amount. Lastly, I asked a young female waitress with a floral pattern on her arm how long the curry fair would last. She didn't know but said it would probably continue this month, and maybe even be extended. I was lucky to have conversations with two women today.

I used this restaurant for lunch the other day. The lunch menu uses black rice for all dishes, making it very easy to eat healthy! They serve lunch until 5 o'clock and provide WiFi and charging facilities, so I visited around 2 o'clock and saw couples having tea and groups of mom friends having lunch. I thought it was a popular place! The atmosphere and the staff's service were very good and easy to use! I will definitely use it again, thank you very much ^ ^

I often use this place for lunch. It's like an oasis when I don't want to see my coworkers. It's underground with no windows, so no one can see you. There's Wi-Fi, power outlets, and you can smoke. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I usually have the chicken rice (790 yen). The rice with mixed grains, tender chicken, and sweet and savory sauce is a perfect combination. It's not like the authentic dish, but it has its own uniqueness that I personally love. Thank you as always. Itadakimasu. I will definitely come again.

First of all, I was surprised by the quality of the food. Usually, cafes are places where you enjoy the atmosphere, and many places don't put much effort into their food, but this place is different. The food here is amazing. From the meat to the omelette rice, bread, salad, dessert, everything is carefully prepared and looks beautiful, making it a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is also great, with a calm space where you can enjoy your drink. There is even a DJ booth, so as someone from the countryside, I felt like I was really experiencing Tokyo and it made me happy. I think this wonderful space is all thanks to the hard work of the staff. It's a place I want to visit again. There are also five power outlets, so I might even use it for work purposes.

I was looking for a delicious lunch with my friend and stumbled upon this place. It is located about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. It is tucked away a little off the main street, making it a hidden gem. As you go down the stairs to the basement and enter, you will find a very stylish interior. On this day, I had the omurice for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious! The egg was fluffy and paired perfectly with the sauce, creating an indescribable deliciousness that left me fully satisfied. This time it was lunch, so next time I want to bring my friend and try their dinner menu as well. Highly recommended! Thank you for the wonderful meal.
