2nd visit - Woman moaning
March 25, 2014, Tuesday, sunny, high of 21°C
I visited before the curry fair ends at the end of this month while it's still sunny. Today, I had the minced meat and bamboo shoot green dry curry with iced coffee for 500 yen. I was expecting curry fried rice since it said dry curry, but it was unexpectedly delicious. The green curry flavor is rich but not spicy. I thought about buying something to take home, but I was too full to do so. There was a flyer for "Billboard Live Style Tears Charge" at the entrance. I immediately searched it up! The CD is titled "TEARS in R&B - You can surely find happiness as many times as you cry in the songs." The jacket illustration was done by the popular manga artist, Bambi Kitazawa, known for "Onnamichi" in Big Comic Superior. The concept of the CD matched the manga, so a special drawing was commissioned. I definitely want this. By the way, the song playing in the store was "Roll The Credits" by Paula DeAnda. On the screen, there was footage of a Red Bull breakdance competition.
1st visit - First experience with a beautiful model
March 18, 2014, Tuesday, sunny, 11:30-12:30
While waiting at the traffic lights on Meiji Street, I suddenly heard a whisper in my ear. "X Kyusu Sanichi." Surprised, I turned around to see a tall, blonde, beautiful foreign model wearing black sunglasses. It was definitely a model. She seemed to want to go to Gaienmae. I wanted to take her there, but it's a difficult place even for Japanese. She pointed to Meiji Street and said, "Gou, Desu, Uei." I replied, "Go that way!" It was a rare experience to say "Go that way" to a beautiful model, or any woman. I regretted not walking with her to Route 246. While thinking about it, I arrived at ZERO Cafe after going down the stairs to the basement. There was a closed iron door. It took some courage to open it. Inside, there was a DJ booth, mirror ball, spotlight, and a screen. It had a stylish atmosphere. I cautiously checked if there was a one-coin lunch. There were two curry options - Coconut Soup Curry (Sri Lankan curry) and Green Dry Curry (Thai curry). This time, I chose Sri Lanka. The black rice with nuts and raisins was delicious. The slightly sweet and sour coffee was great with a good amount. Lastly, I asked a young female waitress with a floral pattern on her arm how long the curry fair would last. She didn't know but said it would probably continue this month, and maybe even be extended. I was lucky to have conversations with two women today.
