We went to Kyoto with my wife for the purpose of visiting Kyoto Gyu Kaiseki Inayoshi. A cooling floor seat was prepared, but we chose a sunlit meal in a spacious sunken kotatsu seat. We reserved the Inayoshi course with bamboo. First, we toasted with beer and Gamagori mandarin juice! The carefully selected ingredients are beautifully arranged in exquisite dishes, allowing you to enjoy the food not only with your taste buds but also with your eyes. We also pay attention to the interior and the ambiance of the room, so you can enjoy the food comfortably. We always look forward to the dishes and the attention to detail in the selection of dishes. First course (5 items): Kyoto beef red wine marinated, Kyoto beef rolled in soy milk sauce, Kyoto beef quiche, Kyoto beef croquette, Kyoto beef miso and Gion tofu. Each first course is elaborately prepared, showcasing Chef Yoshiki's sense and high level of skill. Soup: Kyoto Tanba black bean potage, a flavorful and creamy soup made with black beans. Seasonal cold appetizer: Kyoto beef loin and white asparagus roulade with seared sea urchin. A dish that sea urchin lovers like me cannot resist. The combination of seared sea urchin, Kyoto beef loin, and white asparagus roulade is delicious. Kyoto beef loin meat and truffle spread surprise style with acacia honey gravy sauce. The surprise element of this dish, with its sweet honey gravy sauce complementing the ham and truffle spread, is truly delicious. Seasonal hot appetizer: Kyoto beef rib wrapped in kataifi with beet and spinach sauce. Foie gras trio variation: royal, sautéed, French toast. A luxurious dish with foie gras paste on French toast. Let's order some Pinot Noir wine. Palate cleanser: yuzu granita salad (not listed on the course menu). Chef's specialty: Kyoto beef Chateaubriand Tornado Rendang Rossini style. A luxurious dish that combines Chateaubriand with foie gras and truffle. The Chateaubriand, a rare cut that can only be obtained from about 600g of beef, is incredibly tender, fine-grained, and an ultimate delicacy. Rice dish: Kyoto beef shigure tea rice, Kyoto beef curry rice. Dessert: matcha, coffee. Feeling the cool breeze from the Kamogawa River, we were delighted by the luxurious Kyoto beef Kaiseki dishes that kept coming one after another! The Inayoshi course with bamboo is originally a dinner menu, and it requires consultation during lunchtime. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had dinner at "Kyoto Beef Kaiseki Inagi" along the Kamo River. Despite being a weekday, there were many people in Pontocho. We had a private room along the Kamo River. It was a spacious room. We enjoyed Kyoto beef. First, we quenched our thirst with Kyoto beer. The amuse-bouche included Kyoto red chicken and ruby grapefruit, Kyoto beef marinated in Koshu wine, abalone in white wine, tuna charlotte, and millet gluten with Kyoto beef miso, each dish was carefully prepared and exceeded our expectations. The black bean potage was comforting. We could choose our appetizer. The Kyoto beef shufarshi with consomme soup was a very elegant dish. My wife chose the foie gras, eggplant, and eel mille-feuille with Uji green tea granite, which was refreshing. Then came the Kyoto beef sukiyaki. A university student part-time worker skillfully prepared the sukiyaki for us. Her lively conversation was enjoyable. The rice dish was also customizable. We had the spicy Kyoto beef curry rice, which had a flavorful kick. The dessert, Mont Blanc, had just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee was also delicious. As we left the restaurant, the chef and the part-time worker saw us off at the entrance and even outside the restaurant. It was a delightful experience. We had a pleasant evening in Kyoto.

I made a reservation for the sukiyaki course for lunch and went. I had reserved a private room, so I was able to enjoy delicious sukiyaki in a cool room with a view of the Kamo River. The sukiyaki was delicious enough that I forgot to take photos, but I was very satisfied with the appetizers and rice dishes in the course. Everything was really delicious, and I definitely want to go again. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also nice, and the staff took good care of us. I deeply felt that good customer service is important for high-end restaurants.

It was delicious! I came to Kyoto and was wondering what to eat for lunch when I decided to try dining by the riverside. However, it was too hot so we ended up sitting inside. The food was delicious, using local Kyoto ingredients, and the meat and salad were both tasty.

I chose this place because it allows children in private rooms. It's convenient that you can make a reservation through Tabelog. I had the sukiyaki course. You can choose the appetizer and rice dishes. The sukiyaki is cooked right in front of you. The egg is fluffy because the chef mixes it several times. The beef was tender and not too heavy, and it paired well with the fluffy egg. It was so delicious that I ordered extra meat and vegetables.

The Sukiyaki Kaiseki with a fusion of French cuisine is unique to Kyoto, where the Sukiyaki is cooked with sugar. The amount of sugar can be adjusted according to your preference for sweetness. The egg to mix with the meat is prepared by whipping the egg whites with the yolk inside, making it suitable for foreigners as well. Personally, as a Japanese, I would have preferred a regular egg option. The other appetizers, such as salad, were delicious. There is a wide variety of wines available. If you prefer to eat Sukiyaki in a Western-style atmosphere, this place is recommended.

I visited Kyoto for the Gion Festival and chose this restaurant in Pontocho along the Kamogawa River for lunch at 13:00 after the Saki-matsuri yamahoko procession. The location is easy to find, right in the middle of Sanjo and Shijo in Pontocho, next to Pontocho Park. I booked the popular 5,000 yen course, which had great value for the location and ambiance. The wine selection was a bit on the higher end, with bottles starting at 6,000 yen and a median range of 10,000 to 15,000 yen. I opted for a glass of MOET & CHANDON champagne for around 1,500 yen and ended up with a Meursault wine for 15,000 yen due to stock availability. The food was delicious, especially the fillet steak with Perigueux sauce which paired well with the wine. Overall, it was a great experience with good service, food, price, wine, and atmosphere.

We had made a reservation for a riverside dining experience, but unfortunately, it rained and we had to sit inside. We had to choose a cold dish and a hot dish as part of the course menu. We also selected a main dish and a rice dish. The amuse-bouche was a bite-sized selection of Kyoto beef, followed by a warm dish of Kyoto beef with young corn. A tomato sorbet served as a palate cleanser. For the main course, we had fillet steak, and for the rice dish, we chose beef curry. Finally, we enjoyed dessert. The chef came to greet us and we had a pleasant conversation. I hope to come back on a sunny day next time!

I visited for lunch and had the course menu. It was hot, so I ended up going in wearing short sleeves and sandals, but it was a very formal restaurant... Next time, I'll go in proper attire (laughs). Every dish in the course was delicious! You can tell they use good quality meat... The hamburger was so delicious, it was moving.

I had lunch at Kyoto Beef Kaiseki Inayoshi along the Kamo River in Kyoto. I reserved a course in advance. The main dish was beef steak, and I chose curry for the rice. The portion was small but the taste was excellent. The dessert, Prule, had a taste that grew on me, and even though I'm not usually interested in sweets, I was surprised by how delicious it was. Thanks for the special lunch course.

I made a reservation to enjoy dining at Kamogawa in May, but unfortunately it was raining so we had to eat indoors. I reserved the Inayoshi lunch Kyoto beef B course. It included appetizers, soup, palate cleanser, main dish, rice dish, and dessert. The main dish was Rossini-style hamburger steak and I chose curry for the rice dish. It was delicious, but overall the portion size was a bit small, so I thought it might have been better to reserve a higher course.

I visited this restaurant once before and loved the atmosphere, so I came back again! All the dishes were delicious, but the soup was especially amazing. I overheard other customers complimenting it to the staff. The broth for the beef tea rice was also delicious. I ordered the Matsuko course and was completely satisfied and full. I heard that they will start riverside dining next month, so I will definitely come back!

I made a reservation for a lunch course for 8600 yen. The restaurant is located along the river, in a traditional Kyoto-style building, where you can enjoy your meal in a private room with a view of the Kamogawa River. For lunch, you have to cook the sukiyaki yourself instead of having the staff do it, which was a bit of a hassle. Despite there being a lot of fat, the meal was delicious and didn't leave me feeling too heavy.

I visited a restaurant in Kyoto for a one-night trip using travel support. I had made a reservation in advance at a restaurant on the Kamogawa side south of the park in Ponto-cho. The seat was right by the Kamogawa river, with a view of the flow of the river. The dinner started at 5 pm, and I was able to enjoy the view of the Gion night scenery by the time I finished eating. The service was very polite, with explanations of each dish and beautiful presentation. The main dish, Kyoto beef steak, was exquisite. After the meal, the chef came to our table to greet us, and the service was thorough, allowing us to enjoy our meal comfortably. I wanted to enjoy wine if possible, but I had to settle for beer as the cost-performance was not good, which was a bit disappointing.

I visited for the third time because I wanted to eat delicious sukiyaki. The food, atmosphere, and quality of service were all wonderful as always, and I had a great time. Personally, I highly recommend the Kyoto beef hayashi rice that you can choose as a side dish. It's exquisite.

I visited Kyoto Beef Kaiseki Inayoshi! It is located next to the police box in Pontocho. In the summer, there is also a cool floor along the Kamo River. This time, I ordered the lunch course B. The Japanese-style interior, Japanese tableware, and dishes with a Western taste were all delicious. They also offer courses like sukiyaki and shabu-shabu, so you can enjoy Kyoto beef. Next time, I would like to visit the riverbed in the summer. Thank you for the meal!

I love the atmosphere of Pontocho, and the location with a view of the Kamogawa River is also very nice. I had the B course for lunch. The dishes were pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. The service was also very polite. I would like to come back for dinner as well!

I visited this restaurant when I went out in Kyoto. It's not easy to have a little luxurious lunch without a reservation. After searching around, I finally found this place. The restaurant is located in Pontocho and has a classy atmosphere. If you visit at night, it might be a bit pricey. This time, I had the affordable lunch course, which is described as kaiseki but it's more like French cuisine. It was nice that I could eat with chopsticks. The appetizers and soup were delicious, but the beef chazuke I was looking forward to was a bit disappointing. The service was excellent as expected, but at the end, they said, "We're closing now, so please finish up," which was surprisingly straightforward for Kyoto (laughs). It's good to be clear, but times have changed, right?

We were able to enjoy a leisurely meal together. We had delicious meat prepared in various ways! I wanted to have sukiyaki, but it was last-minute so we ended up having shabu-shabu instead. However, it was still delicious so it was all good! Thank you for the meal!

I visited a famous restaurant known for its "Beef Kaiseki" during my luxurious trip to Kyoto. It was my first time spending over 5,000 yen on a meal by myself. From the appetizers to the dessert, I had beef in every course, which was a first for me (although I once ate a huge steak in America and couldn't eat anything else afterwards). I ordered the Steak Kaiseki "Take" for 13,200 yen. Each dish, all featuring beef, was exquisite. Despite being a French Kaiseki style, the abundance of Kyoto beef dishes made the "Beef Kaiseki" sign make perfect sense. The most impressive dish was the main course, the fillet steak sauté. Even though I had already eaten plenty of Kyoto beef before reaching the main course, the steak was so delicious that it amazed me. Even the curry served at the end was easy to eat without feeling too full. Most of the other customers were women or couples, but as a solo male diner, I received excellent service and felt very comfortable. What was particularly great was that, unlike the group of diners who were enjoying conversations between dishes, the next dish was promptly served without long breaks for solo diners like me. The staff, all of whom were young, provided top-notch service. The Sukiyaki course ordered by the couple next to me looked very delicious, so if I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try a hot pot dish with a group of friends. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
