After a year, I revisited this place and finally had a girls' trip with my Tokyo best friend whom I haven't seen in 2 and a half years ♡ I was eagerly waiting for the end of the COVID-19 pandemic so I could meet my friends again. The scenery around Lake Toya with its pale blue sky and lingering snow was truly beautiful. My friend who was visiting Lake Toya for the first time was delighted by the stunning views! Our room had a great location with a view of Mt. Yotei, also known as "Ezo Fuji". As usual, we had our meals at the buffet restaurant "Nami no Oto". We enjoyed a variety of dishes while admiring the changing expressions of Lake Toya through the large windows. My favorite from this visit was the Chinese cuisine! The tantan noodles from the live kitchen were delicious ♡ The buffet offers a wide range of dishes from Japanese, Western, to Chinese cuisine, all meticulously prepared. Although it may not have the fresh seafood typical of Hokkaido, the dishes are still well-crafted. Oh, I ended up eating too much again, haha. I didn't take many photos of the food because I was too focused on eating. We also relaxed in the infinity outdoor bath, gazing at Lake Toya. It was so blissful ♡ By the time we were leaving, we were already thinking about when we could come back again. Overall, I think this hotel is well-balanced and excellent. It is relatively affordable, making it suitable for families too! I highly recommend staying at Lake Toya if you have the chance ♡

Having a meal while overlooking Lake Toya. The booths are divided by Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, making it easy to choose. Of course, the dishes use ingredients from Hokkaido, allowing you to feel the various aspects of Hokkaido. The excitement of having the Omurice prepared right in front of you. I wanted to eat everything, so by the end of the meal, I could barely move. (laughs) When traveling, your excitement tends to increase. You end up wanting to try things you wouldn't normally choose at a buffet. It was a fun and exciting experience without an overwhelming number of options. Each dish was delicious, so I left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The hotel I stayed at during my trip to Hokkaido. I was really looking forward to the food since it's Hokkaido, but honestly, the food here was kind of mediocre. It wasn't that it wasn't tasty, but there weren't many things that made me go "Wow, this is delicious!" The rice and miso soup were the best!

I visited Lake Toya for the first time and stayed at this hotel. For dinner, I chose French cuisine. They served dishes made with seasonal and local ingredients. The portions were small but they served a variety of dishes, so it was enjoyable. Breakfast is buffet style only. You can enjoy a variety of dishes. I recommend sitting by the window.

We stayed at the Nonokaze Resort in Lake Toya to celebrate our anniversary with my girlfriend. The plan included dinner and breakfast buffets, and the total cost was 23,000 yen, which was reasonable considering the facilities. The dinner, in particular, was very satisfying with delicious steaks and seafood dishes. The glass-walled dining area overlooking the lake enhanced the taste of the food even more.

Night scallop and squid sashimi sushi with bamboo shoot and rapeseed flower tempura, zangi beef steak with mountain wasabi x3, ramen to finish. Four morning rice balls (shirasu sansho, mentaiko nameko, salmon, plum), dashimaki tamago, meat juice cheese omelette, soup curry. A must-try is the beef steak and soup curry.

It's been a year since I visited Nonokaze. I was taken there for my birthday. We stayed in a renovated room, which was stylish and amazing. In the lounge, we had all-you-can-eat drinks and petit sweets, which were delicious. I tried the rock bath, but one hour was not enough and it was just okay. The hot spring felt nice, but the steam was so thick that I couldn't see my feet, which was a bit scary at night. The buffet food was not impressive, except for the soft-serve ice cream, which was consistently the best. However, this time, I was most impressed by the room. I'm glad I went.

Last year, I didn't travel, so I wanted to spend a relaxing night even if it's just for one night at a cheap price. So, I went to Lake Toya. The hotel had a free shuttle bus, which was very convenient! The winter fireworks were on their last day today, and it was my first time seeing them up close, they were very impressive. I also took some photos of the illumination. The ground was smooth, and I had to be careful not to slip...

The room with a view of Lake Toya was amazing, especially at night when fireworks were visible right in front of the room. The 7th floor has a fantastic outdoor bath with a view of Lake Toya. I recommend enjoying it during the day! On the 2nd floor, there is a nostalgic public bath. It's open until 2 am, so I also tried the hot spring at night. However, there is no ice maker in the room, so you have to pay for ice. Only buffet is available at night, with hot steaks among the options. In the morning, freshly made rice balls and freshly squeezed juice were quite good. It was a great hotel for staying overnight! Thank you for the wonderful experience! (•́✧•̀)

When I came last year, I had a kaiseki meal, but I preferred the morning buffet, so I tried the buffet for dinner as well. However, I think the kaiseki meal was better at night. The churrasco, beef steak, and sashimi were good, but not good enough for me to want to come back for more. The pancakes in the morning were delicious, and the Japanese food was excellent, especially the freshly made onigiri, salmon, and egg dishes.

The breakfast at the resort the day after was also a buffet, following on from the night before. We woke up early and took a moment to relax in the infinity outdoor bath overlooking Lake Toya, taking advantage of a break in the rain. We went to breakfast around 7:30 am. The buffet seating is open, so it's better to go early to choose your seat. Both my husband and I haven't been to a buffet-style inn recently, so it was fun to bring our own favorite foods. However, the buffet was a bit hectic and it's easy to overeat (totally my own fault, haha). The breakfast buffet had freshly baked croissants (delicious with Hokkaido butter), original special soup curry (lots of onions and a flavor I liked), made-to-order fluffy omelets (perfectly cooked with whitebait and plum sauce on top), and pancakes (soft and tasty). The made-to-order rice balls were a specialty, so we each had two with different fillings. The rice balls wrapped in thin seaweed were delicious, but the regular seaweed was a bit tough to chew (it was moist seaweed that was hard to bite through). You can choose how it's wrapped, so the thin seaweed-like one is recommended over the regular seaweed. Overall, the buffet at this inn was pretty tasty for both dinner and breakfast. The desserts were also well-made. However, it didn't quite meet our high expectations. This inn seems more suited for families with small children or group trips with friends rather than couples like us who are a bit older. (Just my personal opinion)

I have always been interested in Lake Toya, and I have always wanted to stay at Nono Wind Resort. I have tried to plan a stay a few times in the past by combining it with a business trip to Hokkaido, but this inn is quite popular, and I couldn't book a room for one person on the dates I wanted. After several years, my husband and I finally managed to stay here this time. There is a free shuttle bus from Sapporo (1,000 yen from New Chitose Airport), and the view from the infinity outdoor bath overlooking Lake Toya, all rooms facing the lake, the buffet for dinner and breakfast, and being able to see the long-running Lake Toya fireworks from the room in summer were all appealing reasons for me to visit. The buffet had delicious Hokkaido steak and desserts, but overall, it didn't quite meet my high expectations. Sorry, it's just my personal opinion. However, despite the rain, we were able to see the Lake Toya Long-Run Fireworks Festival, and it was nice to be able to soak in the fantastic view from the infinity outdoor bath overlooking Lake Toya, even in the rain. There was a mix-up with the room, and it was disappointing that it wasn't the one I had in mind... However, the two and a half hour bus ride from Sapporo was unexpectedly far, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to come back. If I do come again, I'd like to come when the weather is nice. Also, all the staff at the inn were very friendly and likable.

I stayed at a 4-star resort hotel in Lake Toya❣️ The view from the window was amazing. However, the disappointing part was dinner. Instead of a buffet, we opted for a private room for about 10 people and were led to a banquet-like setting where we had a kaiseki meal. Surprisingly, the cost for this private room order was 5000 yen per person, even though we were told it was 3500 yen during the phone reservation. Quite expensive... could have had another meal... haha The scene at the banquet was quite surreal, and I felt rushed as they even placed desserts while some were still eating. It made me realize that the hospitality at Tokyo hotels is more refined. (Luxurious statement) From other reviews I've seen, private rooms for 2-4 people seem lovely. However, the breakfast buffet was very luxurious✨✨ and I had a hard time choosing ===========

This is the first time I have experienced such a high-quality buffet. As soon as you enter the venue, you can see Lake Toya through the glass on the lake side. The staff's response is smooth and polite. When you order a drink, they bring it to you when you sit down at the table after getting your food. They also quickly clear away empty dishes. And above all, everything is beautiful and delicious! Most of the dishes are served in small plates, giving the impression of enjoying tapas. There are stylish small plate dishes lined up one after another. There are also menus where you can taste freshly made dishes. For items like steak or tantan noodles, you order and then receive a buzzer at the food court. You go pick it up when it's ready. The steak is tender! The mountain vegetable tempura is crispy! The sashimi is fresh! The desserts are also stylish. This time, we stayed for an anniversary and they prepared a special dessert plate for us. The breakfast buffet was also wonderful. Apple juice squeezed on the spot. Fluffy pancakes. Freshly made fluffy omelets. Rice balls made with your favorite ingredients. The atmosphere of the venue, the staff's response, the beautiful appearance, and the delicious food made our stay very satisfying. By the way, the room was also lovely. The bath had a fantastic view. We could even see fireworks from the room. I would like to visit this hotel again someday. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went for my husband's birthday. We got a spacious room to also deal with snoring. It was a buffet style, but I only took one picture. The food was decent. The menu was a bit hard to understand. They had pancakes for breakfast which were delicious. And the soft serve ice cream was really good.

This was my first visit to the Lake Toya No No Kaze Resort. With this, I have completed my collection of wind resorts, following the Strait of Wind and the Green Wind. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style. The seafood was so-so, but the Chinese and Brazilian BBQ meats were delicious. There were plenty of desserts, and I left satisfied.

Stayed from December 23 to 24, 2020, first visit to Nonokaze Resort with my beloved dogs. There are two types of pet rooms available - Twin (36 square meters) and Deluxe Twin (72 square meters), both located on the first floor with direct access to the lakeside for walks. The Deluxe Twin room even has a paw washing area for dogs, which was very convenient. This time, we stayed in the Deluxe Twin room, which was surprisingly spacious (laughs). The dogs were running around and having a great time. It was a high-level room for a hot spring trip with dogs. Lake Toya also hosts a long-running fireworks festival, so it's easy to go watch the fireworks with your furry friends. (*My dogs get scared easily, so just hearing the fireworks makes them go crazy (laughs)). Meals were served buffet-style. It wasn't as memorable as I had hoped, but since the main purpose of this trip was to bring my dogs, it was still satisfying. I would like to visit again with my dogs in the future. Next time, I'll try a different dining option than the buffet (laughs). Thank you for taking care of us.

This hotel has amazing interior decor and offers a luxurious city hotel-like hot spring experience with stunning views. The onsen and sento (public bath) are both excellent. The dinner buffet is delicious, with tasty steaks, shabu-shabu, and tantanmen. Since Hokkaido is known for its seafood, I wished they had included more live crabs. Although they had king crabs for 5000 yen, it's hard to enjoy them unless they are live. So, I ended up purchasing smaller live crabs for around 5000 yen. Crabs are only delicious when they are live, after all.

In October, I used GO TO to stay at the Nofuke in Lake Toya. It used to be the Tencho building at the Toya Park Hotel, but now it has become the "Nofuke". The welcome drink was hot haskap juice, which was delicious so I bought some to take home. As usual, I enjoyed the dinner buffet, breakfast buffet, hot springs, and fireworks. They have taken thorough measures for preventing the new virus. Each time you go to get food at the buffet, you change the disposable gloves made of vinyl. It's already a common style. One of the dishes at the dinner buffet was steak from Shin-Toku beef in Hokkaido. It's not meat injected with beef fat, but freshly cooked meat placed on a hot skillet. At the breakfast buffet, the rice balls are made by a motherly staff member. The freshly grated apple made by a Vietnamese female staff member was fresh. More than that, your smile was fresh. The octopus sausage in the kids' corner had six legs and eyes and a mouth. I felt lucky from the morning (laughs). This time, I used GO TO for my stay. It was a higher level of accommodation than usual. But the hotel in Lake Toya makes me want to use it again. Thank you very much.

I used the Michi-wari discount and had a Japanese-style French meal. The dinner course didn't have many dishes that were particularly impressive, but the cream sauce made with sea urchin and crab miso was outstanding. Additionally, I had the opportunity to try the rare Tokachi beef, which was a valuable experience. Overall, there was some inconsistency in the flavors.

The onigiri and omelette made on the spot were delicious. The omelette had cheese and spinach in it. I also tried a mouthful of clam curry, which was tasty but I was too full to get more. I didn't take any photos. The pancakes were fluffier than I expected, which was nice. I bought a hot pot soup mix from the souvenir shop. The spices were in a tea bag, but maybe it would be better to put them directly into the pot. It was a bit underwhelming. I added all the Hokkaido chili peppers as instructed, and even added some extra spicy seasoning I had at home. It was delicious.
