サカキシンイチロウ
I tried to eat sushi at the best fish market in Japan. In Tokyo, it has become the top brand for standing sushi. During the pandemic, shops that sell face-to-face at counter like standing sushi are struggling. Some health departments instruct to provide the food in sushi buckets instead of directly to customers due to high risk of infection, which reduces the charm. Here, we thoroughly place splash prevention sheets and partitions, trying to maintain the traditional way of serving, but it feels like eating in a laboratory (laughs). Anyway, I ordered what I wanted to eat one after another. First, three pieces of shellfish and three pieces of hikari. Red clam, scallop, and fresh cockle. Sayori, horse mackerel, sardine, each with high-quality toppings, and please make the rice smaller...I requested and placed the next order. Fresh surf clam, fatty amberjack. Lean bluefin tuna, sharp and well-preserved konoshiro. Squid with mayonnaise, today's recommended eel with wasabi and alternate toppings, finished with kazunoko and sea urchin battleship. The rice here has a strong acidity which I like. There were only two customers, including me, in the shop. I had the chef all to myself. When I placed an order, the dishes were promptly served. When the sushi arrived, I ordered the next one, and when I finished eating, the next dish arrived for ordering...repeat. About 22 pieces were comfortably settled in my stomach in about 10 minutes. By the way, the building where the other standing sushi restaurant near here is located. All other tenants' izakayas have withdrawn. This prime location near Yodobashi Camera is in this state. I have a feeling that it will become even more difficult from now on. Terrible.
