On a typical weekday around 7 pm, the restaurant was almost full. It is within walking distance from the Miyanozawa subway station and JR line. I have been taken there several times before. I always end up getting too drunk. Today is the first stop, so I am sober. I visit after work. The beer is cold and delicious. Perfect Black Label is written on it. Wow, impressive. It must be some kind of certified beer, right? The appetizer consisted of seasoned ingredients, broth, and cold noodles. I was hungry, so I appreciated it. The fried rice was moist. It seemed like something I could make at home with the seasonings I have, yet it was delicious. Maybe it's the chashu. I want to know the recipe. The dumplings were flavorful. They didn't even need sauce. The crispy wings also had a great taste. The cheese was delicious too. It went well with the cucumber. You can order skewers individually, which is convenient. Everything was delicious. The owner is always smiling, cheerful, and pleasant. There is no all-you-can-drink option, so it's nice to just stop by for a drink. It seems like a place you can easily visit alone, but it's always crowded, so it's best to check first. It has a homey atmosphere, and you can chat with the people at the counter. The photos are from the last time I went, so the prices may have changed. Call before you stop by when you get off at Miyanozawa. Thank you for the meal. Thank you as always.

I haven't posted in a while. I always order the same menu, but a few times, I order in bulk. Sometimes I go with my kids, and sometimes with my favorite drinking buddies. Lately, I'm really happy that my favorite drinking buddies come from far away just to visit. And everyone is satisfied with the delicious food. When I go there, the floor waitress always asks, "How many tomato skewers today?" Usually, I order yakisoba, gyoza, pork skewers with sauce, beef tongue skewers, and occasionally motsunabe. Sometimes I also order fried rice. Everything is delicious. I still come with my mom friends from when my daughter was in elementary school. Writing this makes me want to go there!

On a certain weekday, I went to this place called Shōwa for a drinking party. It was my first time at this restaurant and I arrived around 7:00 PM for my reservation. There were 2 groups of 3 customers already seated and 2 groups of 7 customers arrived after me. The place was quite busy for a weekday with just the owner and one female staff member working. For today's order, I got: - Today's recommendation (Salmon sashimi) for 500 yen - Tuna Yukke for 500 yen - Potato fries for 400 yen - Chicken skewers (salt) x4 for 180 yen each - Pork skewers (teriyaki) x2 for 160 yen each - Horse sashimi for 800 yen - Asparagus wrapped in pork skewers x2 for 280 yen each - Fried oysters for 500 yen - Motsunabe (regular) for 1,400 yen (I think) - Additional vegetables for 500 yen - Additional ramen for 300 yen They were out of tsukune skewers unfortunately. The background music was of course from the Shōwa era, very calming. Everything I ate was delicious and the owner's service was great! After paying, I even got a candy as a gift. It was a delightful meal, thank you! I will definitely come back!

I will summarize for you♪ The grilled salmon belly is absolutely delicious because it's cooked over charcoal. A special menu item is the fried egg. I'm sure they'll make it for you if you ask♪ The pork skewers are a must with sauce! But they usually get taken by the kids. Even though I said I didn't want any. The yakisoba here is amazing! I want to eat it every time, but I can't finish it alone... But it's delicious. It's spicy! My favorite at this Showa era restaurant is the gyoza! Recently, even the kids are asking for seconds, haha. They have a lot of tomato skewers. It's so close by, so I'll definitely go again♪

This is a summary review!! When eating yakitori, be sure to order the pork skewers sauce. Also, you should try the fried potatoes. The motsunabe now has a miso base that is a bit stronger in flavor. Ask the owner for today's recommendation, as it may not be listed on the menu. It's great that the restaurant is within walking distance!

The usual Showa-style menu at Showa Antei occasionally changes. I had horse sashimi this time!! The lean meat was super delicious! No smell at all! The contents of the ahihijo may vary depending on the day. The motsu nabe, which I haven't had in a long time, was also delicious. My little one only eats vegetables. Only the motsu was left. lol The octopus carpaccio was also huge!! The skewers are also excellent. I will come again! (´∀`)♡

The Manbou restaurant has been renovated while on break and it looks completely different now. It has a stylish feel to it! They now offer dishes like garlic shrimp, oil ramen, and fried rice on the menu. I love the garlic shrimp, it has all my favorite ingredients! The fried rice is amazing! I want to come here every day lol.

It's been a while since I had motsunabe. It's still delicious. And I really like the yakisoba here. It's packed with ingredients and the seasoning is great. This time, I also had squid tempura with matcha salt, which was a perfect match. Pork skewers are a must. The tomato skewer was eaten before I could take a picture.

Visited after the lifting of the state of emergency. By the way, they were certified as a divine foam! It seemed like they suddenly hid their true identity, and the master was happy about being certified. Had the usual tomato skewers and pork skewers. I need to remember to take more pictures next time. I actually eat more than it seems! Spicy chili peppers came out too haha. I don't eat much at night, but their yakisoba is delicious, so I want to go with someone who can eat a lot!

I always love going to Showa, whether it's for my daughter's birthday or just hanging out with my little one. We always order the same thing - my daughter devours the veggies from the motsunabe, while I go for the tomato skewers and my usual pork and beef tongue skewers with a beer. Everything is always delicious here. When it's not busy, I chat with the owner about my family and life, he's a great listener. It's always fun talking to the regulars too. Looking forward to trying the boiled dumplings next time!

I love the Showa era! The first time I tried it, Ika-yaki was delicious because it was grilled over charcoal. Motsu-nabe was also delicious as always. Cold tofu with ponzu sauce is a must! Drinking and chatting with friends in a Showa-style setting is so enjoyable! The other day, my little one ordered 10 tomato skewers. Ate too much! I'll definitely go back again!

After eating Genghis Khan at a friend's house in Miyanosawa, I came to this restaurant. First, I toasted with a highball. The appetizer was smoked green peas. I contacted my friend TT and they joined me. The recommended dishes at the restaurant are the pork skewers and chicken skewers with sauce. They have a good balance of sweetness and saltiness. Both meats are substantial and satisfying. I couldn't resist ordering the natto omelette from the menu. The fluffy omelette goes well with the natto. I also tried the deep-fried squid, which I used to eat often in the past. It had been a while since I last had it. The pan-fried dumplings were crispy and had wings attached. Delicious. There are many menu options, so I will definitely be revisiting. *Masks were worn* (August 2020)

Mr. S called out Mr. Y to come here now ( ; ゚Д゚) with a laugh. It's been a while since their last visit. It seems like Mr. Y can walk here. Wow! Let's start by finishing the Totoro bottle and replacing it with a new bottle for Mr. Y (*^^*). They had a fun time introducing some delicious items here. They recommended the pork skewers and grilled dumplings. They were seriously delicious, you know (*^^*).

I always go there, so let me summarize~♪ Tried the new menu, grilled salmon belly. It's my favorite! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The tomato skewers are as delicious as ever. The pork skewer sauce is amazing!! You can choose between ponzu or soy sauce for the cold tofu, I chose ponzu♪ You can also enjoy your meal outside on hot days!

First, I will write about why I came here. It is close to where I was at the time, halfway between my house and my friend's house where we were meeting, and it has a parking lot... so I remembered this place!!! Even though the reservation time changed, they kindly accommodated us. There were 6 counter seats, 2 tables for 4 people, and a tatami room in the back. We sat at a table. We were served a vegetable and meat appetizer with white konjac, which was gentle on the stomach. The tuna yukhoe was plentiful and delicious, with good seasoning and freshness. The soup dumplings had a slightly spicy, authentic filling that was soft and very tasty. There was also grilled dumplings written on the blackboard that I wanted to try later, but I forgot about it. The grilled chicken included soft bone, thigh, liver, all tender and perfectly seasoned. Very delicious. The motsunabe with soy sauce was a serving for one person, with plenty of ingredients and very tasty. The hokke was large and not too salty, which was great. The grated daikon was plentiful and the fish was fatty and delicious. The owner's elegant mother came to pick up the grilled fish, saying "It's better when grilled over charcoal." I understand! The owner is a good son. All the dishes were generous in portion and delicious. The owner, who was friendly and attentive, mentioned that the restaurant has been non-smoking since April. There's an ashtray at the entrance. They have many families and children as customers, so it's a family-friendly environment. R-kun can rest assured. When paying the bill, they were preparing motsunabe for another reservation. It turns out the person who recommended the restaurant to me had made the reservation. What a coincidence! It's a shame we missed each other, but let's meet again soon. Thank you for the meal!

I love Showa era. It's always a great time at this place. *Currently closed due to COVID-19. Today, I had motsunabe after a long time. The miso motsu here is excellent. The soup is delicious. The portion for two people is quite generous. I recommend finishing off with ramen. My family's favorite is the half-fried dish. It's incredibly tasty. To be honest, it doesn't compare to the famous shop in Otaru... The yakitori is also delicious, and the grilled tomatoes are excellent. I also love the yakisoba. I love everything so much that I always have a hard time deciding what to order haha. Due to COVID-19, they are closed now, but when they reopen, I will definitely go to support them!! Before me, Mairebi-san used to come here, so close! Let's have motsunabe together when things calm down♪

I really love this place. Everything I eat is delicious! This time, we came here for my daughter's birthday. Among my family, the number one favorite is the half-fried dish. It's crispy and juicy, with a strong flavor. The motsunabe (offal hot pot) is also incredibly delicious. My favorite is the motsu miso here! Recently, they added a new menu item, the sagari skewers, which are also delicious. We received various celebrations for the birthday. They also let us try some smoked dishes they might start serving soon. Smoked dishes sound great! Looking forward to it!

Since it's a revisit, I won't put too much effort into the review (sweat). Because it doesn't count towards the number of reviews. But this is a restaurant that Totoro really likes♪ So, I will still write a review for this revisit. Everything you eat here is delicious! \(^o^)/ This time, we had motsunabe (tripe hot pot) and half-fried chicken, which are the star dishes here♪ It's best to share with multiple people! Huh? How many star dishes are there? All of them!!(^艸^)ウププ
