Chicken curry at 850 yen revisited. I waited about 10 minutes for the curry to come out. It may have taken time for the cooking of the chicken wings that were included. The taste is gentle and homey. It may feel a bit lacking if you're used to the spicy curry from In Nepa, but there is a nostalgic taste to it. Now, I was curious about why this restaurant is located in this place, so I came back again. After researching online, I found out that the second head office of Kaneko Kasekiko, located in the same building, has a president named Aoki who is from Mine Town in Saga Prefecture, which has now become Miyaki Town. It seems that the name Miyaki was chosen for this place due to this connection. According to a certain website, it was said that the café Miyaki was opened in the company office in Nihonbashi as a place for gatherings of junior colleagues who came to Tokyo. It conveys a strong sense of gratitude for the continuous support and dedication to supporting alma mater and nurturing junior colleagues. Therefore, this restaurant may have been created for such purposes. So, they may hold gatherings or entertainments here at night, or show hospitality to children who have come to Tokyo. I don't know for sure, but I have decided that Mr. Aoki is a wonderful person. The coffee after the meal had a strong acidity, clearing away any lingering taste in the mouth, leaving me feeling refreshed and happy. Thank you for the meal!

Mori Shita Area. A dining hall? Or more like a restaurant? It's located inside a building in the Shinohashi area along the Sumida River. It seems like not many people would come up to the 5th floor of this building, even though there is a sign outside. But then I saw a review by rossi46. Impressive. Indeed, it has a somewhat golf course restaurant-like atmosphere. There were only two other customers but there were more staff members. For lunch, they offer a Western-style meal for 850 yen with a drink, which seems like a luxurious use of space and staff. I could sense a laid-back Showa era vibe. I decided to go for the B lunch set which included hamburger, fried chicken, sunny-side-up egg, soup, and a drink for 850 yen. This also coincided with rossi46's choice. I was amazed by the contents, but considering the price, it was to be expected. The soup was like a consommé you would get on a plane, the hamburger was more like a steamed patty, and the fried chicken had a lot of batter. The sunny-side-up egg was nothing special, similar to what you would make at home. Nevertheless, considering the atmosphere, the price, and the generous amount of iced coffee served after the meal, it wasn't bad. If you're not looking for exceptional taste and just want a light lunch for a meeting or lunch gathering, this place is quite suitable. It's near the Sumida River, but there are tall apartment buildings blocking the view of the river. You probably can't see the fireworks either. They accept various payment methods, but strangely, they don't seem to accept PayPay.

A restaurant on the 5th floor of an office building near Shin-Daibashi. At first glance, it seemed like a company cafeteria, but when I timidly took an unfamiliar company elevator to the 5th floor, it was like entering a different world. The female staff in the hall were dressed neatly in uniforms, and there were about 10 spacious tables for 4 people each. There were also private-looking tables in the back. What is this place... a spacious lounge-like space. With a name like "Mikine Club," I wondered if the parent company was a golf course? When I looked it up, there is a "Miyaki Country Club" in Miyaki Town, so there may be some connection. There is also a "Mikine Club Miyaki" in Nihonbashi. It's even more mysterious why there is a quiet restaurant in this location. On my first visit, I ordered the B set "Hamburger, Fried Chicken, Fried Egg" with rice, soup, and a drink for 850 yen. It came out in 10 minutes. A hamburger with a fried egg on top, fried chicken next to it, tomato, shredded cabbage, lemon, and parsley. The rice was on a flat plate. This nostalgic Western-style meal was enjoyed at the top floor restaurant of a wonderful old department store. The taste was also nostalgic. After the meal, I had a cup of coffee and left feeling relaxed. Thank you for the meal.
