Salvatore's lunch buffet. Every time a state of emergency is declared, it is canceled and then revived with changes in content... Today, I came to see what it's like now. About six months ago, it was 1680 yen, but today it's 1880 yen. It's only 200 yen, but a significant price increase for lunch. I wonder if it's worth the price increase. First, the menu board next to the entrance has changed from pictures of pizza and pasta to colorful vegetables. Salvatore's is known for its pizza. The selling point of the lunch buffet was all-you-can-eat pizza, but now it's focused on vegetables. It was quite a bold image change, which surprised me a bit. Come to think of it, Sizzler, which was originally known for its steaks, also established its popularity by promoting the salad bar. It's important to try changing what you appeal to. Inside the restaurant, I was surprised again when I saw the buffet table. The salad, pizza, pasta, and most of the dishes were always lined up on the table in front of the kitchen. It was impressive and easy to choose, both for customers and for the staff to manage. However, now the cold dishes like salads and the hot dishes like pizza and pasta are placed in separate, distant locations. Thanks to that, both types of dishes can be increased. Moreover, each dish and ingredient is placed in smaller containers, increasing the variety even more. This means more effort to replenish, but on the other hand, there is the advantage that everything is always fresh and freshly made. For example, the pasta, which can only fit about three servings, is put in a small, easy-to-carry pan, so you can enjoy it almost freshly made. The variety of vegetables has really increased. From lettuce to kale, alfalfa. Purple cabbage, endive, three types of carrots, onions. Bean salad, marinated pumpkin. Marinated turnips and berries, thinly sliced fried sweet potatoes. It's fun to arrange, and each vegetable has a variety of flavors that make eating enjoyable. Especially for me, who needs to eat more vegetables, this buffet is very much appreciated. Cream pasta with chicken and spinach, spaghetti with clams and green beans in tomato sauce. Mussels in tomato stew with pot-au-feu on top. Sausages with carrots, daikon radish, lotus root, potatoes in a broth-based Western-style flavor. Yet it somehow tastes like oden, which is interestingly delicious. "Pizza, freshly baked" is heard from the kitchen, and I go to pick it up. I took a slice of Margherita, and the cheese, along with basil, peeled off from the neighboring slice and came along together. I feel sorry, but I eat it with a feeling of being lucky. The saltiness of the crust with a firm taste is delicious and satisfying. I like alfalfa, so I get a refill, and my stomach starts to feel pleasantly full. The drink bar without dispensers is stylish and nice. I make chamomile tea and choose various cakes to line up. Pudding, strawberry mousse. Cheesecake with strawberry cream mixed in whipped cream. I put a small macaron on top and eat it, feeling completely satisfied. Today's buffet, with ingenious ideas that surpass the price increase.
