Well, it's not the kind of place you would specifically go to in Tokyo, but it's delicious. After the Harry Potter night show, it was late and the restaurant I wanted to go to was closed. It felt like customers were constantly coming and going, and the old man taking orders didn't get it right the first time.

At 9:45, the three of us started enjoying the Yosakoi Festival, and by 3:00, our summer had come to an end after watching the performance of our favorite team. H, who had suffered from heatstroke last month, had not fully recovered yet, so we decided not to drink together afterwards! A senior colleague would accompany me home, so H and I parted ways in Shinjuku. The senior said, "There's a supermarket I want to go to in Shin-Okubo." I asked, "Why did you get off in Shinjuku then?" The senior replied, "It's not that different even if we walk." I gave a suspicious look. My legs were tired from walking so much at the Yosakoi Festival. We walked for about 12.3 minutes following the senior. We passed through a shady hotel district and arrived at a supermarket called Korea Plaza. The senior said, "The bowls for the cold noodles I wanted were too small." I was shocked. The senior said, "I'm done with what I needed to do." I was even more shocked. I couldn't walk anymore. My legs were dead. My mouth was dry. HP 0%. When I complained, the senior bought me corn tea. After drinking it, my HP recovered to 98%. We walked back through the shady hotel district and this time I thought we would take the Shonan-Shinjuku Line, but the senior suggested, "Shall we go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant?" I agreed. Suddenly, the two of us felt like going to the conveyor belt sushi restaurant we saw. It was "Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurant HiBaRi Shinjuku Branch," located 231m from Shinjuku Station, right in the middle of Kabukicho. When we entered, we were casually directed to our seats. It was only after entering that I realized something was off. This place seemed suspicious. The BGM was YAZAWA's songs playing on a loop, which didn't seem to match the atmosphere. I sat down next to the senior and ordered dishes using the touch panel in front of me. We started with a lemon sour toast. The sushi prices were in three categories, and I think the most expensive one was 270 yen. Each of us ordered what we wanted using the touch panel and decided to eat one piece at a time. The rice portions were quite small. It was just right for the two of us who weren't very hungry. The sushi quality was not high, but it was just right for us at that moment. The service was casual, and the clientele consisted of shady characters. To others, the senior and I might have seemed like shady characters as well. When I ordered the chawanmushi, it was served in a plastic container. It was refreshing. Refreshing to the point of being casual. We ate seven plates together and that was it! The place attracted many foreign customers due to its location, and it seemed like the staff also hired many foreigners. After returning home, I read other reviews and they were criticizing the place.

In Kabukicho there is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The interior has both a conveyor belt lane and a sushi chef lane. The staff are mostly foreigners. The sushi chef had a traditional Japanese style. I was seated at the conveyor belt lane, but the sushi wasn't rotating. What's going on? I ordered using the touch panel. Maybe to reduce food waste and be environmentally friendly. The sushi took a while to arrive. Different languages were being spoken all around. The sushi arrived like a kappa's delivery. The prices were reasonable so my expectations weren't high, but it was okay.

Visited Hibari-san located on Hanazono-dori, behind Toho Godzilla Building in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. It was a strange time of day, so the conveyor belt wasn't moving and there was no music, creating a quiet atmosphere. The quality of the sushi didn't seem much different from major chain stores, but the prices were slightly higher. The sushi we ordered was served quickly, making it convenient even when short on time. Due to its location, it's a good option for gatherings, after-work drinks, or a quick bite when there aren't many other sushi options nearby. Thank you for the meal.

I have been to this restaurant a few times with friends, and we usually come here when we feel like having sushi after finishing our drinks at the first bar. The prices are reasonable, with the cheapest plate at 130 yen and the most expensive at 270 yen. One great thing about this place is that most sushi plates come with 2 pieces, unlike other places where you only get 1 piece for over 100 yen. So, if you ever find yourself in Kabukicho and craving sushi, definitely give this place a try!

Located in the danger zone of Shinjuku, this restaurant has a decent appearance, table setting, and a good atmosphere with skilled chefs. Each plate costs 130 yen and comes with two pieces. The rice portion is on the smaller side, but the toppings are generous and not stingy. It feels like they put effort into their sushi, similar to Osaka-style sushi restaurants. It's delicious, fast, and cheap, which is expected. If you want to eat until you're full, it might get a bit pricey, but it's a great find in the drinking district.

After work, I decided to stop by here for some sushi. The menu was simple, unlike the trendy grand menus with a whiteboard. There were a lot of salmon options, probably because many young customers frequent the place. I started with shrimp, which had a flavorful vinegar rice that paired well with it. The red clam was a bit small, but still tasty. The abalone had a chewy texture, which I enjoyed. The blackthroat sea perch was a half fillet of around 100g, but despite its size, it had a good amount of fat and tasted great. Lastly, I had crab miso to finish off the meal. It had a yellowish hue and a strong crab flavor, with a sweet taste from the shell. I had 17 plates in total and left feeling satisfied. The price was reasonable.

It was delicious! The table seats were a bit small, requiring at least 3 people to sit, but the quality was good for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The service attitude was not very good though, depending on the staff.

When I go out on a sunny day, I always make it a rule to only enter sushi restaurants. Today, I had some business in Roppongi. I was looking for a sushi restaurant along the way, but couldn't find one. I returned to Shinjuku for shopping, and found a conveyor belt sushi restaurant nearby. I entered without hesitation. First, they checked my temperature, and then guided me to an available seat. The seating arrangement was good in terms of social distancing. Although it was a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the belt did not go around the entire restaurant. The seat I chose had a touch panel for ordering, and the belt was specifically for delivering orders. The seats behind me had a counter where the staff were making sushi, and they took direct orders. It seemed like the belt from their side did not connect to the one in front of me. I wondered if the staff behind the counter were the ones making the sushi. I should have chosen a seat there. I ordered cold sake, small dishes, sweet shrimp, eel, sea urchin, salmon roe, and tuna. The eel was not too soft, and the sauce was sweet. The sea urchin had a strong flavor, and the salmon roe was slightly smaller than usual. Both were not bad. I suddenly remembered that I should have eaten these gunkan sushi in one bite without being indecent, instead of using them as a topping for the sushi underneath. For some reason, the tuna had a hint of green onion smell. The slices were not too thin, and one side was more fatty.

Hi, it's Mitachan. It's been a while since it rained, but I went out. I went to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but the sushi isn't actually going around on a conveyor belt. The chef stares at you from behind, but you can still choose your favorite sushi, so I recommend it. Just be careful because the soy sauce comes out in a big splash. I wish I could eat this in Hokkaido.

There is a revolving sushi restaurant behind the Godzilla movie theater in Shinjuku. Unlike traditional conveyor belt sushi, there is a counter with seats where sushi orders come flowing down a lane. All the sushi is delicious, but the nori soup is also hot and tasty.

I casually walked around Kabukicho after a long time and ended up here. I thought about having sushi in Shinjuku, but this place is surprisingly cheap for the taste. Although there aren't many options on the Kabukicho menu, it's not bad overall.

I used it in front of Toho Cinema. There are many conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Shinjuku, and I didn't know which ones were good or bad, so I just went to the one nearby. The restaurant had a counter seat where the chef prepares the sushi in front, a counter seat with a high-speed lane, and we were guided to a table for 4 since we were a group of 3. About half of the customers were foreigners. You order using a touch panel, and the sushi is delivered on the high-speed lane. The sushi was all reasonably priced, with the most expensive being 240 yen. You can see the chef from the table seat, but you have to stand up to see clearly. The tuna trio for 240 yen, squid trio for 240 yen, sea urchin, salmon roe, yellowtail, sardine, salmon, flying fish roe, fatty tuna roll, sea bream were all quite delicious. The rice was warm and freshly made, and overall, there were not many disappointments. It's great to be able to eat a lot at this price. The miso soup with fish broth for 180 yen was delicious with plenty of green onions and fish. The chawanmushi for 240 yen was okay. The total bill was around 1500 yen per person. It was cheap and quick to eat, which was nice.

●April 26, 2019 (Friday)●I had always seen it but had never been inside, Hibari Sushi. I had indigestion from drinking the night before, so I couldn't eat anything oily, but I had to have dinner with a friend. So, I thought that if I had some light sushi, it might sit well with my stomach. The restaurant had only counter seats and there were many foreign tourists. The ordering was done through a touch panel terminal, similar to the revolving sushi chains. The menu felt limited compared to the major chain stores. It seemed like they kept it to the essentials. The prices were mostly around 180 yen for 2 pieces. It might not compete with the super cheap chain stores, but for this price range in Kabukicho, it was just right. The taste was not bad for a low-priced sushi place. The tuna, grilled salmon, egg, and squid were all excellent. For someone like me who is lazy, being able to choose whether I want wasabi or not on the touch panel was great. It's a hassle to apply wasabi separately later. They also had alcohol, but I was feeling unwell, so I opted for seaweed soup instead. With a non-alcoholic drink, the total bill came to around 700 yen, making it a very affordable dinner. It's a good world when you can get full on sushi for under 1000 yen. This place had decent taste and pricing, but being located in the prime spot of Kabukicho, I feel like the convenience of being able to casually drop in is the biggest selling point. It seems like a place that would come in handy.【Rating】★★★★★★★ 7/10

I always saw this shop in Kabukicho and was curious about it. Two artisans casually talked to me and recommended their sushi. Although it is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, there are no sushi plates circulating, and you have to order directly from the artisans each time. The sushi is reasonably priced and the taste is average. The friendly staff made a lasting impression, making it a casual and welcoming place to stop by.

I visited for lunch. There were two sushi chefs on the right side as we entered, and on the left side, there were seats where you could order using a touch panel. We were seated right between the two chefs. The menu had items priced at 120 yen, 180 yen, and 240 yen, which I found reasonable. They also had miso soup, chawanmushi, and ice cream for dessert. We ordered a variety of items like salmon, squid, yellowtail, fatty tuna, and even duck, and everything was delicious and satisfying. The chefs took our orders directly, so there were a few mistakes here and there, but I could see they were busy, so I didn't mind. I just wish they had a few more items on the menu. It ended up costing over 3,000 yen for lunch, which felt a bit extravagant, but I definitely want to go back again.

This is "Rotating Sushi Restaurant HiBCRi" located in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. I have been coming to this restaurant since it first opened. I was surprised by the... The first thing I always order is "bin toro" (137 yen). The clam (137 yen) had no crunch and was a bit mushy. The "negitoro" (137 yen) had a lot of "toro" on it, which is typical of Kanto style. The taste was just delicious. The "engawa" (137 yen) had too much moisture and was a bit soggy. It would have been better with a bit more chewiness. That's all about "Rotating Sushi Restaurant HiBCRi." *I have reprinted a past blog. Please understand that the photo quality may be poor. (September 25, 2021, Umezato)

After a drinking party, I was feeling a bit hungry so I decided to visit this place. The restaurant is located further down in Kabukicho and can be quite hard to find. Perhaps due to the location not being the best, this place competes in the lower price range, offering 2 pieces for 120 yen. This time, I ordered squid and lean tuna. The sushi was made right in front of me by the chef and then delivered on a conveyor belt, giving it a rotating sushi vibe. In terms of taste, the fish was decent. The price is low, so the freshness may not be top-notch, but it's not so bad that you can't eat it. The rice was also reasonably firm, not too soft or too hard. Overall, I think this place is not bad for when you want to eat a lot of sushi or when you have a small appetite.
