Shinjuku's rotating sushi restaurant seems to have a good reputation for being delicious and cost-effective. The blue plates priced at 190 yen offer good value, but I didn't feel very satisfied as I couldn't find any ingredients I wanted to order from the other more expensive plates. I was able to sit smoothly as it was just opened, and I started with sea bream, cod, and draft beer. The beer was served in a clean and delicious glass. Shrimp, yellowtail, and inari sushi... In total, with two beers and a few plates, it came to around 2,500 yen. Somehow, there was a disappointing lack of cleanliness around the table. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the Shinjuku Nishiguchi store before. The Minamiguchi store is more spacious than the Nishiguchi store. Even in these times, it is rare to find a revolving sushi restaurant. Many of the customers are foreign tourists. If you're looking for the most delicious and cost-effective revolving sushi in Shinjuku, you can't go wrong here! I especially recommend the fatty tuna and salmon.

I used it on my way back from shopping. It is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located just a short walk from the southeast exit of Shinjuku Station. I used it on a Sunday afternoon, and it was somewhat crowded with only a few empty seats. The interior of the restaurant has only counter seats, with a decent amount of space between them. It was cleaner than I expected, and I felt comfortable using it. After being seated, I ordered a draft beer. The draft beer was Kirin Ichiban Shibori. The beer mug was cold, and I enjoyed it. The sushi was not revolving, but ordered verbally. I had various sushi such as tuna, amberjack, salmon, ikura, and eel, and they were all quite delicious. The fish slices were large, the rice portion was just right, and all the sushi had a good mouthfeel. The slight warmth of the freshly made sushi rice was also nice. Unfortunately, there were many items sold out on that day, but I was still quite satisfied. It's an easy-going atmosphere, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday around 6 pm and was promptly seated, although the place was almost full. It was easy to order with the itamae (sushi chef) right in front of me, and there were always fresh sushi going around on the conveyor belt. Many types of sushi were sold out, so I recommend going for lunch if you have specific sushi in mind that you want to try.

This is a rotating sushi restaurant located about 1-2 minutes walk from the southeast exit of Shinjuku Station. I arrived at 4:00 pm after missing lunch ^^; The restaurant has a rotating conveyor belt, but the sushi doesn't rotate. Instead, menu items on small plates rotate and you can order verbally. The main menu items are 2 pieces for 190 yen, with other plates priced at 240 yen and 280 yen. ■Marinated tuna (190 yen): It had a nice marinated flavor, and the grated wasabi on top was delicious! ■Grilled mackerel (190 yen): It was fragrant and tasty without any fishy smell. ■Tamago nigiri (190 yen): The slightly sweet tamago was quite thick and satisfying to eat. ■Seared Spanish mackerel (240 yen): It had a subtle seared aroma and was delicious! The total came to 810 yen, and I had a satisfying late lunch. The fact that they are open all day is convenient. Thank you for the meal! (•᎑•)

I was a little hungry so I looked for a sushi restaurant where I could easily adjust the amount. It was a Sunday and there were many items that were sold out. I wondered if it was a popular place because it was crowded. There were also many foreign customers, and I thought the prices were a bit high.

On this day, I went shopping in Shinjuku with my friends. We visited Lumine Shinjuku, Newman, and Takashimaya Times Square, but only bought a few things. On our way to the east exit, we found a revolving sushi restaurant called "Oedo" and decided to try it out. We didn't have to wait long before being seated at the counter. The customers ranged from individuals to families, with a noticeable presence of inbound tourists. We toasted with beer and enjoyed our favorite sushi. When my friend expressed a desire for sake, I joined in. The chilled sake from Tsukasabotan (large size) for 750 yen was refreshing and delicious. The sushi we ordered (each on a blue plate for 180 yen) included tuna, yellowtail, cockle, avocado salmon mayo, tuna carpaccio, cucumber roll, spicy tuna roll, spear squid, and horse mackerel. While none of them stood out in particular, the spicy tuna roll with tears in it was a fun and spicy dish that cleared the sinuses.

Among the rotating sushi chain restaurants where craftsmen make sushi right in front of you, I often visit the Daio-Edo store. When I used to commute to Shinjuku for work, I would use it for both dinner and lunch. It was cheap, after all. However, with the recession and the pandemic, the restaurant industry is tough these days. Even the Daio-Edo Shinjuku Minami-guchi store has not escaped price increases. Nevertheless, it seems like they are still doing their best to support the common people and tourists. Depending on the store, there are some slightly unusual toppings like sea cucumber, horse meat, shirako, ankimo, and whale that can be enjoyed relatively cheaply at Daio-Edo, which is one of its charms as a rotating sushi restaurant. On this day as well, I enjoyed these kinds of toppings. I hope they can continue to maintain this price range in the future...

Every Sunday, there are G1 horse races one after another, and no matter how much money you have, it's never enough. But that's a different story from actually winning, right? So, before the big bet, I always stop by WINS Shinjuku for some pre-game fuel. Today, I felt like having some fish. I headed out of Shinjuku Station's southeast exit and found this place right away. It was packed because of the location, with many foreign customers. Luckily, I managed to snag a seat at the counter just as someone was leaving. I started with a bottled beer, which tasted great when I gulped it down. Since I was hungry, I skipped the appetizers and went straight for the sushi. I ordered "tuna and shrimp," "oshinko roll," "sea urchin," "red clam," "himo-kyu roll," and "grilled squid." Most items were only ¥180 each, which is surprisingly cheap for Shinjuku. The chef was attentive and the overall experience was great, but if I had one complaint, it would be about the oshinko roll having too much vinegar. Thanks for the meal! Time to bet, bet, bet!

I love Namako Ponzu, so I was happy to find it here and decided to visit for lunch. I ordered Namako as a snack, and it had a lot and was delicious. The prices are cheap and the food is tasty. Among cheap conveyor belt sushi restaurants, this one is quite good! Haha, I will definitely go again. The Ta no Shiru (sea bream soup) was unexpectedly chunky! Surprising!

This restaurant is located on the street lined with eateries heading from the southeast exit of Shinjuku Station towards the east exit. It was a little after 4:00 PM when I entered for an early drink. I enjoy revolving sushi because you can eat as much as you want of your favorite sushi while drinking. This restaurant had a good selection of sushi rotating around. I ordered horse mackerel and salmon roe first, and they were decent in size and taste for the price. The squid that was going around was delicious with a good texture. Pickled ginger was a nice accompaniment with beer. Next, I tried the fatty tuna roll, which was just right for a beer snack. The miso soup was clam butter soup, a unique twist that was tasty. I might try making it at home sometime. I was satisfied with being able to have a casual drink at a reasonable price!

On a Saturday afternoon, I was returning from the hospital and suddenly felt hungry, craving sushi. I found this restaurant through a Google search and decided to visit. When I arrived, there weren't many plates of sushi going around on the conveyor belt, so I ended up ordering directly from the chef. The menu had unusual items like whale, monkfish, and sea eel, priced around 170 yen per plate, which felt a bit expensive but understandable given the location. The restaurant was moderately busy, so it's best to order your next plate as you finish the previous one to minimize waiting time. After eating about 10 plates, I felt full and left the restaurant.

Recently, instead of going to places like Kura, Sushiro, or Misaki for conveyor belt sushi, I go to Oedo. The reason is the good value for money, delicious quality of the fish, and skilled sushi-making techniques. It's a bit sad that there are hardly any side menu options, but if you just want to focus on sushi, Oedo is the most reasonable and satisfying choice.

I have been using this revolving sushi restaurant for a while, as I have always thought that it offers higher quality compared to other similar restaurants. Recently, with the efforts of major chain stores to improve the quality of their ingredients and expand their menu options, places like Sushiro and Kura Sushi have been aggressively opening branches in the Tokyo area. If I want to eat quickly, I usually go to these types of restaurants for their good value. When I visited this restaurant after a long time, I noticed that the system had changed a bit. Most of the menu items were now divided into two-piece and one-piece servings, with a unified price per plate! Even the expensive items were priced at ¥168 for one piece, and today's special was Otoro, which I could enjoy at the same price! The quality of the ingredients was already good, so being able to eat various expensive items at this price is a great deal! And most importantly, being served freshly made sushi by the chef right in front of you, with the slightly warm rice, at this price is definitely delicious! This time it cost me ¥1600, but compared to chain stores at the same price, the quality is definitely better here! I have a newfound appreciation for this restaurant today. Thank you for the meal!

The butter-flavored miso soup was very delicious. It warms you up! I highly recommend the grilled yellowtail and flounder fin, they are both delicious with plenty of fat. Some popular items sell out quickly in the evening, so I recommend arriving early. The rolled seaweed is also delicious.

Today's lunch was at the conveyor belt sushi restaurant Oedo-san. The current price is a uniform 168 yen per plate. This time, I ordered the following: - Shime kinmedai (golden eye snapper) - Buri (yellowtail) - Tekka maki (tuna roll) - Toro taku maki (fatty tuna roll) - Zuke madai (marinated sea bream) - Zukey maguro (marinated tuna) - Buri toro (fatty yellowtail) - Anakyu maki (cucumber and conger eel roll) They were all delicious. I would say they were slightly better than the price. It was tasty.

The revolving sushi restaurant at Shinjuku South Exit offers all plates for 168 yen each. The quality of the sushi is quite good for the price. Today, I had maguro (2 pieces on one plate), otoro (1 piece), chutoro (1 piece), akagai (2 pieces), tsubugai (2 pieces), and salmon (2 pieces) as my final meal of the New Year. The total bill came to 1,008 yen for 6 plates. While some may prefer other popular chains like "xx-Lo," I have found them lacking in the Kanto region. In contrast, the "xx-Shu" chain in Kansai is very delicious. I used to visit the branch in Esaka at least once a week a few years ago. I will continue to patronize this revolving sushi restaurant in the future. Thank you for the meal.

On Sunday evening around 6:00 PM, I entered the restaurant and it was bustling with almost all seats occupied. Depending on where you sit, there may be times when your order doesn't reach you. I ordered at a table towards the back where a person who seemed like the manager was present. I ordered Kanpachi, Buri, Suzuki, Maguro, Shimaaji, Toro, Kajiki, Salmon, Uni Ankimo, and Gunkan. Everything was delicious. However, I ordered live shirasu at the end but it never arrived (^◇^;). Maybe they get confused when there are takeout orders? Thank you for the meal. *Suica is accepted.

I arrived at the restaurant around 6:00 PM on Saturday and it was almost full, but since I was dining alone, I managed to get a seat. The restaurant was bustling with orders flying around, so it was a bit tricky to time my order. I ordered a plate of yellowtail, bonito, tuna, whale, raw shrimp, sea urchin, white fish, and sea cucumber, all priced at 160 yen for 2 pieces. It was a great find for a sushi restaurant with such affordable prices! Thank you for the delicious meal. *Suica card is accepted.

There is a chain of revolving sushi restaurants called "Oedo" that I used to frequent when I first moved to my current location in Yotsuya. Although it was a small chain with less than 10 locations, it was open almost 24 hours a day, making it convenient for late-night snacks. After the one near me closed down, I occasionally visited the one near Shinjuku Station's south exit, which recently reopened after renovations. The sign above the entrance read "All plates for 160 yen each," which was a unique pricing strategy compared to the main chains that usually charge 110 yen per plate. Inside, there was only a counter, targeting sushi enthusiasts rather than families. The sushi cases on the conveyor belt were manned by seasoned sushi chefs, and the quality was surprisingly good. I ordered three types of live shellfish for 160 yen each, and they were amazing. The red clam had a crispy texture and a smooth finish, while the shelled clam crumbled and melted slowly in the mouth. The white mirugai had a crunchy texture and a rich umami flavor. There was a wide variety of premium toppings available, such as thick, juicy prawns and finely sliced squid served with salt and lemon. The tuna belly was exceptional, with the fat melting on the warm rice, highlighting the tuna's flavor. The striped jack with fat, sea urchin, and sweet crab leg roll were all delicious. Each plate was a delight, and the traditional quality upheld by Tanaka-san from my neighborhood Oedo was still intact. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and the simple, straightforward bill at the end made it even better. A great lesson in the value of simplicity in dining establishments.
