I went to Lotteria in Ikebukuro and ordered the Rib Sandwich with fries and Pepsi Zero. It's been a while since I last visited Lotteria. I had plans to go to work after finishing my meal, so I made a pit stop to adjust my timing. When I saw the coupon for the Rib Sandwich, I decided to use it since it was a difference of over 200 yen. There was no reason not to use it. It was my favorite item at Lotteria, but it was discontinued before, which was disappointing. It seems like it has made a comeback, but I didn't know about it. I haven't been to Lotteria in a while.

This is Lotteria. I stopped by for a break. I ordered the Premium Blend for 255 yen and Onion Fry for 173 yen. The Onion Fry comes in a pack of 3 and has a chewy texture. It's a nice place to stop by for a quick bite.

On the way back from playing in Ikebukuro, I stumbled upon this place while walking aimlessly, a deer meat burger. I had tried deer meat before and felt the desire to eat it again. Apparently, they had been serving deer meat burgers for a while. My companion ordered the sinful delicious cheeseburger. The cheeseburger arrived first, so I took a bite. ...Wow, delicious! I hadn't expected much since I had been disappointed when the delicious series first came out, but this was really tasty. My companion, who had given me a bite, couldn't stop eating it and didn't offer me any more. When the deer meat arrived, I tried it with anticipation... Curry? Yes, curry. There was no gamey taste in the deer meat, and I couldn't even taste the unique flavor of deer meat. Perhaps the curry-flavored sauce was too strong, or maybe this wasn't really deer meat...? Maybe they focused on making it easy to eat for those trying game meat for the first time. Personally, I didn't see the point of ordering deer meat. It was a curry burger. However, I would like to try the sinful delicious cheeseburger again if they have it next time.

I enjoyed a morning meal while watching people waiting in line. The hot sandwich could have been a bit hotter. For a morning meal, the thickness of the bacon seems just right. The bread was not too hard or too moist, with a good chewy texture. I chose cocoa as my drink. I wish there was a bit more cocoa flavor.

I revisited the Lotteria at the east exit of Ikebukuro. While walking, the words "Ebi Tartar" caught my eye and I decided to have it for lunch! The Ebi Gohan Burger was smaller than I expected. When I opened the paper bag, the aroma of seaweed was amazing! The crispy fried shrimp patty was delicious. The rice buns were also tasty and perfect. It was like a shrimp cutlet rice bowl in a burger form with a Japanese twist. The BOSS shake was not too sweet and tasty. I feel like I want to use it regularly again.

Today, I took a break while charging my phone. I ordered a set because I didn't eat much for lunch. I tried the "Sinful 300% Delicious Cheeseburger" that caught my eye, and it was even more delicious with cream cheese sandwiched inside. I wonder if the difference between 200% and 300% is the amount of cream cheese? I used a coupon and it cost me 540 yen.

I wanted to try the Venison Burger with 3 types of mushrooms and Hokkaido cheese, so I visited this restaurant for the first time. I have only visited Lotteria about once every 5 years, usually after seeing it featured on TV, but I have never felt the need to come back for anything specific. However, I really enjoyed the Venison Burger and would like to have it again. I would rate the taste as 4.5, but I deducted points for the mediocre fries. I heard that you can earn T-Points here, but I didn't receive any confirmation. The restaurant has a dated and dark atmosphere, and the overall vibe, including the clientele, was not very welcoming, so I left right after finishing my meal.

Located at the intersection of Ikebukuro East Exit Go-sairo and Sunshine 60th Floor Street entrance is "Lotteria". The Lotteria in the middle of Ikebukuro city is now only here. There is a "Lotteria Ikebukuro North Exit Store" inside the north ticket gate of JR, but you have to enter to access it. The store in the basement of Sunshine City Alpa was closed earlier this year, and the store across from Seibu in the east exit closed at the beginning of this year. Lotteria is known for its trivia, and this store is one of only four in Japan called the "One Rank Up Store". If you look closely at the sign, you can see the words "Speciality Burger & Cafe". But for me, it's always the same at Lotteria. I ordered the "Shrimp Burger Set" (710 yen) with the "Fish Tartar Burger" (330 yen) - as shown in the photo. Even though it's a hamburger place, I don't eat meat. (laughs) I come to Lotteria to eat the shrimp burger. Surely... The Triple Delicious Cheeseburger (860→800) and Chicken Nanban Burger (280) at Lotteria are so good! The Triple Rib Sandwich Pork (740→700) is also delicious. It seems like weekends are Meat Days and you can get a little discount. Lotteria's cheeseburgers are tasty, with fluffy buns and juicy patties. The cheese flavor is strong and stretches out nicely. It's so good with beer. The Rib Sandwich Pork is also great, not dry and very meaty.

The downside of hot dogs is that one is never enough, but since I keep my breakfast light, this was sufficient. The hot coffee was also delicious, and now I will face the probably losing battle of negotiating prices with the electronics store.

When I was a poor student, the "Rib Sandwich Pork" at the Lotteria located at the first intersection west of Koshu Kaido from Shinjuku Station South Exit was a luxurious treat for me. That memory is from about 35 years ago. Even without the state of emergency due to the new coronavirus, by the time I arrive at Utsunomiya Station, the shops in Utsunomiya will be closed. Despite being full from eating "Chou" oil noodles at 18:21, I decided to have a second meal. While being comforted by a video call with my beloved grandchild, I arrived at Lotteria at 18:37. After a short wait, I received the food and enjoyed it on a bench at Omiya Station during a transfer. Eating the Rib Sandwich Pork Teriyaki after a long time was a perfect match. And then, I realized something - I actually prefer Lotteria's Rib Sandwich Pork over Subway's. By the way, when I was munching on the Teriyaki Rib Sandwich Pork, two beautiful Cambodian women working at a bento shop asked me in fluent Japanese, "Will you stop at Kuki?" Good morning. I arrived at this restaurant at 8:13 after leaving home at 7:30 for a Hato bus tour meeting point at 8:40 (Ikebukuro Hato bus stop). The bright and stylish interior with well-separated smoking areas is nice. I sat at a table by the street, enjoying the view of people passing by. I had a Bacon Lettuce Burger combo from Lotteria for 390 yen. Inside the Bacon Burger were crispy vegetables and warm meat, a delicious combination. The blended ice coffee was also very pleasant. It's time to head to the meeting point.

My movie-loving friend recommended me to watch "MILE22", so I made some time after my day labor job in Kawagoe to go to Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas. Since I had about an hour before the movie started, I decided to grab something to eat. This time, I went to Lotteria Ikebukuro Higashi-guchi store. I have been there a few times before, but this is my first review. The seating inside the store is a bit cramped, which is understandable given the bustling area of Ikebukuro. I used a smartphone coupon to order a cost-effective set meal. I ordered the Lotteria Double Cheeseburger & Kilimanjaro Blend for 490 yen, with an additional 30 yen for a size upgrade to a small drink. Opening the burger wrapper always gets my heart racing. The burger turned out to be surprisingly large and delicious. The soft buns sandwiched two patties and two slices of cheese alternately, making it a luxurious treat. The vegetables included lettuce and sliced onions, each adding their own unique flavors to the overall experience. The Kilimanjaro Blend coffee had a strong acidity and bitterness that I enjoyed. Today, my daughter's friend is staying over at our house, so I have some time to kill before going to bed. I decided to try the nuggets here, but they were a bit lacking. When you think of nuggets, you can't help but compare them to McDonald's, and these were small and had thin breading. However, they were not bad for the price. The iced coffee was refreshing and had a nice, slightly bitter taste. It wasn't too sour, just a clean flavor. Overall, it was a good choice for killing time for this uncle who doesn't want to gain weight after dinner.

I cannot relax here, but the location is good. It's a Lotteria located at the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. It's at the entrance of the road leading towards Sunshine, a busy area with lots of foot traffic. It was very crowded in the early afternoon of a holiday. Managed to secure a seat somehow. The seating area is not very spacious so it's not really a place to relax. The Double Cheeseburger was delicious.
