In the middle of Kabukicho, there is a curry udon specialty shop on the second floor of a mixed-use building. The interior of the shop has a modern Japanese atmosphere typical of Kabukicho, but it is not flashy. It has a calm atmosphere with a main counter, making it a hidden gem. There are two types of curry udon available, Kansai and Kanto, which differ in the combination of broth. I ordered the Kansai style to enjoy a stronger broth flavor. I also added tempura with kakiage and chorizo tempura as toppings. The tempura was served separately on a plate. The curry had a deep umami flavor from the broth, along with the delicious taste and sweetness of the finely chopped beef. The udon itself was smooth and not too soft, providing a well-balanced texture. The tempura had a fluffy texture. The kakiage contained various vegetables, and the chorizo was an interesting addition. The prices were also reasonable. In Kabukicho, where there are some intimidating shops, it was a reassuring place to dine.

A newly opened restaurant that serves more than just curry udon. The curry udon is incredibly delicious, with a rich broth and using domestic Wagyu beef. It seems that using foreign beef would cause the soup to separate, so they use Wagyu beef despite the higher cost. Personally, I recommend trying the curry rice bowl by switching the udon to rice. They are open until 7 am, making it a great spot for a late-night meal. Definitely worth a visit.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the service was slow and the prices were a bit high. Overall, it was an average dining experience.
