This is probably my first Mos Burger of the year. I usually don't go for burger meals, but I caught a cold bug from somewhere this week. I've been on medication all day and my appetite is really low. But I have to take my meds on time, so I definitely need to eat something. Yesterday, I basically survived on yogurt and Pocari, but today I felt like having some soup. So I ended up getting the "Barbecue Focaccia". It's a U-shaped sausage with a great texture that adds a satisfying crunch. The cabbage and special meat sauce topping also add to the overall enjoyment. Even though I didn't have much of an appetite, I couldn't resist the temptation of trying this new item. And I ended up finishing it because it was just that delicious. The hot temperature of the dish also added to its appeal. As for the "Clam Chowder", it was tasty. I personally love Mos Burger's Clam Chowder, along with Campbell's canned version. While I was tempted by the new "Onion Gratin Soup", I'm glad I went with the Clam Chowder. The taste of this child-friendly chowder soup is just right. However, today's soup was quite lukewarm... which is not good! The Clam Chowder needs to be served piping hot, or else the cream will separate. I remember getting a lukewarm one before as well... I think I even made a mental note to request it to be served hot next time. It's easy to forget these little details when you only visit a place once or twice a year. My memory has been failing me lately, so it's even worse. Sad...

It was tasty but too cold. As I was waiting for my takeout order, I noticed a customer peeking into their bag when their order arrived. The customer said, "I was just checking because last time I bought nuggets, there was no sauce. Today, there was sauce." The employee apologized and offered to bring more sauce, but the customer declined and tried to leave. The employee insisted on giving them a sauce packet. It had been a while since I last went to Mos. I used to love their unique and trendy items like Nanataki and Takumiaji, but I haven't been there lately. Suddenly, I had a craving for a rice burger, so I finally went to the Mos on Asakusa Street that I always passed by and was curious about. They apparently offer delivery service, and I saw an old man coming back on a bike after making a delivery. The inside of the store had a counter at the entrance for seating, and tables in the back. It was a bit cramped, but the white tables gave a clean feeling! Now, about the rice burger... Huh? The Super Hamburg Sandwich? Japan's Power??? I couldn't resist trying the Tomato & Lettuce burger for 420 yen, along with Onion Rings for 210 yen. If you register as a mobile member, you can get over 100 yen off, but I couldn't register because I have a Wilcom phone. I waited about 5 minutes for my order to arrive. The Tomato & Lettuce burger is known for its juicy domestic ground meat, but I still think Takumiaji's burger was better (of course, it's twice the price). The grape vinegar sauce was exquisite in taste. This sauce, along with the juicy meat juices oozing out, was irresistible. The Onion Rings were so good that I couldn't eat McDonald's fries for free. The crispy and well-cooked potatoes were lightly salted. The contrast between the crispy outer layer and the soft inner part of the onion rings was lovely.

I haven't been eating hamburgers much lately, so I was thinking of going to Ueno Station and maybe going to McDonald's, but I happened to see a Mos Burger, so I casually went in. When it comes to Mos Burger, there's always something I never fail to order, and that is the "Mos Shake." I always go for the coffee flavor, which is just ridiculously good (laughs). Along with the Mos Shake, I had the Teriyaki Chicken Burger. If you like teriyaki sauce, you might think it's okay to alternate with the regular Teriyaki Burger, but it's not like that at all. This sweet teriyaki sauce goes perfectly with the juicy chicken, the fluffy Mos buns, fresh lettuce, onion slices, and mayonnaise. Oh, it's so good. The overall balance is just top-notch. It's a taste that makes you want to come back for more.
