Late-night convenience - Mos Burger Awajicho Store
Theme: Delicious Information [Asakusa/Ueno/Asakusabashi]
After karate practice, I decided to visit a different public bath in Inari-cho for a change. It's located on the south side of Asakusa Street, connecting Komagata Bridge and Ueno Station, not far from the intersection with Sae-mon Bridge Street. After refreshing myself at Hinode-yu, I headed to Mos Burger Awajicho Store, a place I've been using for a long time. For me, Mos Burger refers to this place. Their operating hours until 1:00 AM are very convenient for me. On this day, I ordered takeout - Spicy Mos Cheese Burger, Fish Burger, and Nugget with Mustard Sauce for snacking. I usually go for this combination almost every time. It took about 5-6 minutes for the order to be ready. I received the burgers and nuggets in a bag, hopped on my bike to get home quickly so they wouldn't get cold. Enjoying a can of beer while snacking on nuggets is a blissful moment. Oh, I forgot to take a picture of the nuggets. Mos nuggets have a crispy coating that I prefer over McDonald's nuggets. The mustard sauce is not overly sweet and has a refreshing spiciness, which I like better. However, the sauce has recently increased by ¥30, which is a bit disappointing. After finishing the nuggets and beer, it's time for the burgers. First up, the Spicy Mos Cheese Burger. I love the green seal that represents the spiciness. The contrast of green and white, along with the prickly texture, really appeals to me. When I opened the bag, the thick tomato, Mos meat sauce, and melted cheese looked irresistible. The generous amount of meat sauce is what makes Mos appealing. Taking a big bite, I could taste the juiciness that you can't get with McDonald's 100% beef. Mmm, delicious. As I ate, the spicy kick from the jalapenos stimulated my taste buds, increasing my appetite. I quickly finished it all. Next, the other delight - the Fish Burger. Unlike McDonald's Filet-O-Fish, Mos' Fish Burger doesn't have a strong fishy taste, which I like. By the way, Kentucky's Fish Fry, even though it was a long time ago, has unfortunately been removed from the menu. I don't eat fried chicken much, but I really loved their Fish Fry, so I'm very disappointed.
