Shibuya, a place I usually just pass through. Lately, with remote work, I only go to the office a few times a month, yet my overtime hours are increasing... Well, whatever. I decided to visit Shibuya after a long time, on a rainy day at noon. Why? Because my daughter wanted to buy clothes at Marukyu. Well, if I don't listen to my daughter's small requests like this, she might not cook for me when I have overtime, so I have to invest in her. Anyway, I visited a place my daughter wanted to go, which was Uobei Sushi. There is a Uobei Sushi branch in my town as well. It was quietly standing in a narrow alley after climbing up Dogenzaka. It's a conveyor belt sushi place, but you order directly. With my daughter's guidance, we placed our orders. The standard tuna and salmon were delicious as usual. I don't know if it's just me not seeing it often, but they had golden cuttlefish and boiled oysters (forgot to take a picture), which oyster lovers would enjoy. The price was reasonable for what we got. It was lunchtime, so we didn't eat too much, but we ordered 10 plates. Are you eating your fill? The fried sweet potato, my daughter's favorite side menu, was crispy, with a good amount of salt, and the cheese inside was a perfect match. It was probably a ready-made product, but it was delicious. It's a good place for a quick sushi fix. It's good for lunch since there's only counter seating. If you're going with family, you might prefer a place with table seating. After filling our stomachs, we headed to Marukyu. Wait, do people still say "Marukyu" nowadays...
