It may be plain, but it's good here - a noodle shop that serves soba, udon, and even Chinese noodles. The process of buying food tickets may be a hassle, but they offer lunch menus, limited-time specials, and several complimentary home-style side dishes. On this day, I tried the limited-time sakura leaf-infused udon, which looked like soba at first glance. The first bite was refreshing with a pleasant aroma of noodles. The broth was excellent, although it was slightly lacking in flavor for this particular noodle dish. It's definitely not bad at all. Next time, I want to try the Chinese noodles. Thank you for the meal.

"Located along the Machida Ekimae Street, about a 15-minute walk from JR Yokohama Line's Furusato Station, is Men-dokoro Yagaiya. This restaurant is a direct-operated store of the noodle factory Yagaiya Seimen Kogyo, which produces and sells soba, udon, Chinese noodles, and yakisoba. They are open for lunch only from Monday to Saturday, offering a variety of noodles such as soba, udon, and ramen, as well as homemade side dishes. Customers can freely enjoy the assorted dishes displayed on large plates inside the restaurant. A must-try dish is their special Tanuki Udon."

Located in Kiso, Machida, Tokyo, is a soba restaurant called "Yasaiya" adjacent to the Tanigaiya noodle factory. They use machine-made noodles using flour milled in-house at the noodle factory. It can be considered as an eat-in area of the noodle factory. Access to the restaurant is a 25-minute walk from JR Yokohama Line's Kobuchi Station. By car, head towards Kiso from Machida Station and continue past Okutsu-ya towards the hillside. The parking lot is on the left just after passing the front of the restaurant. When I visited the restaurant around 6:00 PM, the chef was sleeping at a table, which was a bit surprising. The atmosphere was quiet with no other customers. The soba noodles, made from in-house milled flour, are machine-made and similar to standing soba noodles at train stations or cafeteria-style noodles. Despite this, the soba noodles here are not bad in that category. The portions are generous. In addition to soba noodles, they also offer udon noodles.
